going to Hunddalshytta in Norway , and trying Vomtinden

start of a planned week's circular walk around the huts in N Norway, end of September 2023. However I decided to change plan and try to get up Vomtinden , a really nice peak at the end of the valley. It's a long and rough walk in , taking about 4.5 hours to the final ridge. Got close to the summit on the final ridge, but the rock was a little slippy and my walking boots were not suitable and did not cope well. I was trying to go up on the fissures on the slabs and really I needed my stiffer mountaineering boots with Vibram soles. So, I decided to turn back. Unfortunately, on the way out a rock rolled over and I fell, banging my shin and jarring my knee. So I decided it was not good to continue the trip, and had to come out the next day!
