Thanks! I still have that cylinder and would like to build another with it. That saw eventually got a 272 cylinder and sold to one of my best friends. He loves it.
@@royb.1441 there would have to be a lot of carbon build up to make 210 psi without machine work or it’s got no squish clearance, or oil in the cylinder. Stock base gasket delete is 170psi at best
@@cajun3197 lol I remember you made me second guess myself and I re did the test and texted you a pic of the gauge. It was what like 210 in the pic. Crazy! I’ve build a lot of saws since then and you are right though, it’s really unbelievable it was that high without machine work…but it was! Never had a saw since then come even close to 210 without machine work
Nice work sir...that 61 with a jred cylinder is a nice combo 🤙🏻🪓😎

To be fair, the chain on the 441 clone looked to be duller than I am.. That old 61 sounds/looks crisp though! Good job!
Same chain was used on both saws. I swapped them over.
The exact chain was used for both saws, I swapped them over between cuts
There’s some good guys on ope if you can ignore the bad ones. Glad your build turned out to be a gain
@@royb.1441 no way it was 215. It was probably residual oil
@@royb.1441 you would need to epoxy the intake
@@royb.1441 it’s no big deal to epoxy the intake. Most stihls need them with any machine work
