Can we get another video on the thread on comp just telling us more info about it, like how much recoil or reduces, what ammo we can feed it, why you guys chose a 1 top port design instead of a 3 port design like Herrington, etc. very curious to learn the backstory on it ! Thank you !
1 top port bc of side blast, I remember. An aggressive 3 port design can easily make your pistol not reliable anymore. Not sure how well an estimated % claim on recoil and muzzle rise reduction will help. So I trust they utilized all the energy available to keep the pistol as flat and reliable as possible. The best way is to try it yourself. Tho, I agree on the idea of making another technical Tuesday to give us more details and maybe a side by side comparison between the comps and normal models.
@@JohnZ556 thanks for answering ! I was just looking my at Herrington arms comp and they were saying with the two side ports it keeps the gun centered? And yes I would love a side by side comparison. My shadow comp is currently in transit on its way to me. I’m just too excited and was tryna kill the waiting time by watching another video about it 😂 OCD kicking in again lol

With the limited energy from a small 9mm comp, unless you comp for the left or right side, of course that not only creates new issues, I'm not sure if that will help if at all. With proper techniques your dot should(ideally) only jump up and down anyways. Rifles are a different story tho, I like how SOLGW M4-76 is perfectly tuned for right hand users. The muzzle is pushed down and left by the NOX.
@@JohnZ556 great to know ! Brand new to comps. I bought the HC9XL and was just about to install it then shadow dropped theirs so I held off and ordered shadows. Should be here tomorrow or Saturday ! Then I’m hitting the range asap as it doesn’t need locktite and all that curing crap haha ! Torque it down and we rockin ! Loving the easy on and off feature !
@@Cruiseforacruz I hated to time, loctite and screw into the barrel every time. And the blocky design most companies have to fit Glock doesn't look good on Shadow System at all. So glad Shadow System came up with this non- damaging and no loctite required mounting system. Just torque both to 25in-lb and we good. Been eyeing that dr920p before it was released. But I can't justify buying another similar but too large to carry pistol. MR920P might just be a perfect fit!
