I am seeing different chords than what is written. C chord has 3 strings to press on. He is playing it with 4 strings which is a modified form of C. F can be played with 4 strings pressed down, first 2 are pressed by the pointy finger. If that is difficult. F7 is valid in most F chord positions and drops the E string so you only have to press B string first fret, G string second fret, and D string third fret. Honestly, this video is quite helpful towards plucking, and although I like plucking, I am still in the beginner stages. I can do the melody of what is sung without the capo, but that is only on the E string and the B string. Quite the cheat honestly.

what is capo function actually? and can I play this without it?
It changes the key of the song. If you play without a capo the tune will be lower.
