I used to talk to the telemarketers years ago over random shit, because I know their time is precious.
But the calls became overwhelming. They would keep calling different dept, diff company, different products...etc
ive been watching this again and again for years. probably one of the funnies stand ups i always remember. i even go around quoting "where we at with the budget and welcome to the show".
the attitude and expressions here and body posture and sneaky smiles you give is what made this video. for some reason those were missing for your Coco performance. really goes to show how delivery can make a joke.

I think that part of what makes this is the energy of the crowd.
It's clearly a small-ish, intimate audience. They have a little back and forth but respect his position on the stage and seem to be genuinely enthusiastic. He's comfortable enough with them that it heightens his telling of the joke.
