- This is my Review and quick Install Tutorial for swapping out your stock d-pad AtGames Legends Pinball 4K Control Panel with their Arcade Control Panel as well as applying new Artwork to either the stock d-pad control panel or the Arcade Control Panel. I did order one of the ALP 4K Control Deck Graphics from Buy Stuff Arcades but they did send me all 3 options they sell to show them off to you.
Simply apply the high quality vinyl sticker to the top of your control deck. Laminated with a durable, textured matt finish to match the rest of the cab and keep finger prints away.

1. Stock D-Pad - no disassembly required except for front lock bar.

I think it looks great, def going to get one. The newer HD ALP's do have 4 screws, both my 1.1 and 1.2 have 4 screws.

Ordered one for the Control Panel to go with my Metallica skinned HD. I opted for the version which will require me to remove everything. Should be fun. Looking forward to it.

+1 for properly securing the ball top to the joystick lever. Too many folks recommend using lock lite or plumbers tape, when in reality, people just need to screw it down!

Yep, my HD has four screws holding the control panel in. Got the arcade panel myself and much easier than the original.

I have an Attack from Mars skinned ALP HD and been using the BuyStuffArcades ACP artwork for it and it's been holding up very well after a year! Wonder if it'll be the same one they'll release for the new Attack from Mars ALP 4K since the artwork pretty much matches!

Good stuff PD. I ended up taking all buttons and trackball out to make laying vinyl down easier, plus I added shims to trackball. Now with the arcade panel haptics, are they the exact same they put in the 4k? Cause if the 4k ones are better, then I'll swap them over also.
Careful removing, while the vinyl is much thicker than what i wrap cars with, this material tacked on well and pulling off could stretch/tear the vinyl

All of the plastic case screw holes do not line up with new panel. I wish atgames included a new plastic case covering however the 4 on the corners do.

im just waiting for the info as to how easy it is to get everything that is contained in the vpin (exciters/solinoids/ssf) to work with VPX and Pinball FX3. Then i buy!
