What would be the difference between solid lofting versus surface lofting? They seem to use the same principles, so what would I choose one over the other?
I learned something new about ruled surfaces as well as how you got the groove made with the sweep mode! I suppose the deletion of two surfaces was because the sweep created an inner surface as well as the outer? Does that mean it has a thickness?

no one difference ........in this case ..no one.......but sometimes you must use it.....when you try cutting some walls ...after that you fill in the whole body as solid! you may also translate the surfaces in solid...and vice versa!
