I was able to follow along with no issues. I have to say there are several items in surfacing that I knew nothing about, and I find I need more work in surfacing to learn these items. But this video is a great start and an eye-opener. Thank you again. James in DFW Texas
What would be the difference between solid lofting versus surface lofting? They seem to use the same principles, so what would I choose one over the other? I learned something new about ruled surfaces as well as how you got the groove made with the sweep mode! I suppose the deletion of two surfaces was because the sweep created an inner surface as well as the outer? Does that mean it has a thickness?
no one difference ........in this case ..no one.......but sometimes you must use it.....when you try cutting some walls ...after that you fill in the whole body as solid! you may also translate the surfaces in solid...and vice versa!
Hey ... Your tutorials have helped me a lot to improve my solid works skills. I want to know that how do you get diamentions of different cross sections and other countour profile. Means I want creat 3d model of plastic bottle available with me whose 2D sketch is not with me then how to get that diamentions?
