The lack of variants and the constant bunny hop jumping combined with ridiculously good movement on every character

I absolutely love the art style and animations of BFN but having no variants was such a odd decision

Removing variants was a solid downgrade. I personally like the art style though
If they add a replacement for variants for this game, it would be nice, like the zombies would have weapon attachments and the plants would have mutations, but no, they just removed variants as a whole

Honestly, since I haven't played it in a while, I think the only issue I have with the game is the upgrade part. unlocking upgrades seemed so strange to me in the original, and by removing variants, its like half a step towards less grinding (ignoring the dumb part of LITTERALLY REMOVING A FAVORITE MECHANIC)
The lack of varients was a solid downgrade. I perosnally like the animationd and art style. And the new charecters are intresting. But I sadly think its worse the GW2
The way the chomper AI killed you was because if you zoom in, and click the attack button the chomper can launch goop infinitely 😂😂.
It’s okay but they made all of the zombies look skinny but plant looks pretty decent
Not PC only usally consoles like the switch and the x box can be played on that as well
BFN is still decently active. A shame they ended support so early tho :(

Theres only 2 things that bring down this game for me: no varients (the least frustrating issue for me) and the god damn branium basher 9001. They just made super brainz who is already EXTREMELY op in GW2, buffed him for BFN, then gave him an ability that doubles as flight AND one shot. The worst idea for an ability ive seen.
Thank GOD I ran into someone who sees it too... Brainium Basher is Bullshit, It has a terrible design because it gives the already most mobile class in all the games more mobility and gives the a super reliable one shotw

I got this game and i am having fun with it
Ther are things I really like about bfn for example The maps are beautiful and I also like like the feeling of hitting someone with your weapon new characters are also interesting but the problem is its pay to win and ther are no variants and that triggers me
The games concept and what they wanted to do was good on paper but it had the unfortunate fate of being horribly executed

god i wish this game did better, it looks so nice and fun. the emphasis on movement as a whole looks really fun compared to how sluggish Garden Warfare felt in its movement.
Alas, the lack of proper advertising, the rushed release AND the COVID-19 pandemic dug this games grave I feel. It came out as SUCH a bad time. If it came out a few years later and was advertised properly, I think it could've done a lot better.

It’s an alright game, but I still prefer GW2. I don’t know if I simply got bored or if the changes were annoying as hell to me, but BFN is just an average game to me
I'm gonna honest here, I actually quite like the no variants. Getting rid of them gets rid of the element advantages and makes the shooters a bit more fair, plus the upgrades, especially the legendary ones are kind of just variants themselves. The new movement also makes battles a bit more intense, but besides all the nerdy stuff I said 🤓 great video man! Would love to see more bfn in the future! 😊👍

Well mainly the reason why everyone hated it was the fact that it was released early, but the battle pass was free, and yes, they discontinued variants, but I realized that the game wasn’t bad, the game was decent at best, the designs for the characters are good (despite rose) and the fact that the game is more of a team based game is the reason why I play it to this day, it doesn’t have to be a class merged into another class to be good (meaning variants) it could be just one class and it’s good that way, and sure, I am upset at the fact they never added hovergoat and torchwood, but maybe in the future, when this game gets a better budget, they will maybe add them as dlc. I dunno

The reason why they aren’t updating is because they’ve fired the people that made bfn, and if there aren’t getting any updates anymore, the game would be offline, meaning no more bfn for everyone to play
So if they get a new team of people, they will update it again

I suppose. I'm biased in the favor of this game because I played it before GW2. (God bless my soul) but It isn't great. It is a downgrade from GW2. No varients and worse balancing. And the stuff they added and changed couldn't justify it

And I was so hyped for it. I pre-ordered it as soon as I could and was so exited to play it. Then I w played GW2. Good news I got a better experience. Bad news It really hit my passion and love For BFN hard. I've basically stopped playing it in favor for GW2

I've played over 300 hours but I understand why that might happen. There isn't a lot of new content. It looks like an update more than a new game but also an update that downgrades the game

I like BFN solely for the lack of variants... Variants literally only made the game more braindead and everyone knew that. GW2 players favorite thing to do is calling out the braindead variants like E-Pea (unless you mained said braindead characters which is the main reason people were so mad about no variants)
I always found variants to be a soul crushing and monotonous addition, primarily because half of them are just the same character but with different colors and damage types.
Upgrade systems like in BFN however, provide just the emergent gameplay I need in my life.
I also liked running because it added an extra layer to encounters, and because it allowed you to exist in more than -5 places at a time.
Dude did the only varient you got were Arctic trooper Rock pea and fire cactus
@@madflam3192 Aside from z7 near all of them are the same character with a funny gun.
They can make significant changes to how you play, but I don't find it a dealbreaker for them not to be there.
I seriously do see the appeal of the difference in play with yeti chomper and cosmic brains, but I think BFN got a lot of shit for having a different artstyle and not having a bible's worth of characters.
Variants made the game long, but that doesn't equal good for me.
