For those looking at this video for advice, the pros and cons of mirrorless vs cinema cameras are far more nuanced than this video would lead you to believe. However, to save yourself the hassle, if you're here looking for advice, you do NOT need a cinema camera, Get a good mirrorless system with a gimbal, and perhaps a mic and other accessories, and you're golden. They're certainly far more capable than just for shooting "low-key documentary footage," whatever the hell that means.
I agree - The only clear advantage a cinema camera has - is perhaps the appearance to gain access or to be treated as a "professional" - by the same token filming with a cinema camera may negate your access to a location. or a request to see a film permit in the US.
That's a polite way of putting it. I would say this video is total BS. The people who made it know nothing about cameras. Look elsewhere for advice because all you will get from this channel is beginner confusion
I don’t feel like I learned anything. I’m still wondering how they’re different. Like what makes the tech in a cinema camera more able to handle the environments you described
With cinema cameras you have more control of setting in camera way before you take it to post. Image quality is considerably better. Mirrorless is good but cinema is in its own league.
SO WRONG. You say movie cameras have FF so are better than mirrorless yet you quote the Canon C300, which is Super35 sensor size. And mirrorless is not exclusive to crop sensor. Many are FF. You seem to know nothing but a few tidbits of info and lack a complete overview of the camera market.

This is something someone with no enough money for a cinema camera would say
What if i work alone but have a crew of highly trained monkeys?

“Cinema cameras can produce footage that looks like film” 🤯
SO WRONG.

nah for real, even the zv-e1, a7siii, canon r and many others are full frame and have similar dynamic range
@@BleiteTV Not sure how that is related to my comment
This video was more harmful than helpful by far. I'd look elsewhere for information.
