For me the most surprising was yui's elimination. Back then I was a little reluctant about gyuri getting selected instead of her, but she proved me very wrong in the recent performances.

I'm so upset that Yui is eliminated. I've neither been watching nor following the iland 2 but I listened to final love song which i rly liked and iwaly was amazing too. I watched the performances of the two teams for iwaly and yui presence and star quality as well as vocals rly stood out to me. I could've pointed 4 other contestants who were better singers, performers or had better presence and star quality but idk why she rly stood out to me for some reason? I hope she debuts elsewhere, i'll definitely support her!
I never followed iland. But, once Ling Ling was eliminated, words spread that she is actually talented enough. So, I watch her fancam. It is not as bad as people write in her performance, saying she only survived because of her nationality. I know how difficult it is for east Asian to win a popularity contest in Korea. Not saying Ling Ling is totally number one material, but, she is not that bad.

Yall don’t know how bad I miss Umji😭 I swear she’s in the top 3 best vocalists in the show. She’s so stable even with her sore jaw it’s crazy how her vocals are so clear. And the fact that she’s also such an incredible dancer at the same time is what makes her an all rounder. She has so much potential and i’m so disappointed that more people didn’t pay attention to her. I know it’s not really right for her to debut now bc of her young age but I wanted her to at least get more time to show what she can do so she can solidify her debut in the future.

Tip: improved your vocals by pronouncing vowels or even consonant tight clustered words with and open mouth as much as possible as you could.. Build more stamina by doin cardio exercises for diaphram support and lungs and lastly seek help for vocal coach.. Listening to great singers and performers can also help you improved a lot vocally.. I noticed some of them dont even used chest voice all throat and dont more nasal voice but instead use your diaphragm..
To be honest Jeemin is not bad but she is overreated... everyone is choosing popularity and look over talent. I don't get it how she has higher ranks than Jiyoon, Jungeon or Fuko 😢

there is a reason why jeemin made it and not other visual contestants like yeeun, she has star quality. Jeemin’s personality is likeable and she does have good stage presence, which is even more strengthened if it is a more dark/mature concept. Her presence on stage is proved in La vie en rose performance and even in performances like Dream of You and PRIDE on RUNEXT. Jeemin also has good idol dancing skills and she certainly knows how to use her face as seen in Final Love Song. I do agree her vocals are comparatively lacking but thats something she can work on with training easily. However, star quality cannot be trained and you are either born with it or you need to discover it yourself.

I would like to say I am also immensely disappointed in Yui not debuting. 1. juwon 2. saebi 3. sujung 4. jungeun 5. gyuri 6. mai Those who will 100% debut (or almost 100%) are jeemin, jiyoon and maybe fuko? Hi, Firstly, I apologize if I misunderstood your first statement, but I assume you are talking about why the program doesn’t provide girls with 2 to 4 dedicated dance and especially singing teachers. On this point, I agree. Programs like Produce 101 and the Planet series had more focused coaches before and even after interim checks. However, since this is a different program, similar to the first season, relying on the producers' feedback and having the participants figure things out themselves might be part of their training method.
Secondly, while I agree with your point about the lack of fundamentals in singing and the criteria for dance selection being a bit higher, I want to clarify that this ranking is based on their final ranks in the show itself, considering the producers' and i-mates' votes, rather than me ranking them based on their skills.
Thirdly, regarding the rapper, I also thought they could be maximizing Yuju for the rap because I believe she has the best flow overall. But I'm not a rapper, so this is only based in my opinion. However, as you said, it’s hard to predict what might happen next.
Lastly, initially, after hearing that Teddy would produce the group and that many producers come from The Black Label, I thought we had a clear idea of the concept the final group might take. Their feedback sometimes look to be lacking, specially in timing, I know that they talk more then what is showed, but isnt much construtivist like a teacher or coach would do or similar to a professional setting ( from my small personal experience). Oh I liked the last 101, but the large amoung of candidates makes harder to get to know better potential finalist. I use to skip around lot too due repetitive narrative / editing.

Its evident they dont possessed anything interesting in them and this is competition not a training stage if you miss your out.. Dancing is the easiest one to fix but the vocals it needs years to show your vocal range and the discovery of how you will sound takes a lot of discovery to separate yourselves from the others.. I dont judged people by looks coz it can be fix by doctors if you have money😂😂😂😂😂..
Um Jiwon had a jaw injury, hence she never fully opened her mouth, she’s been getting treatment all while going to school and competing in iland2
