My Teenage Girl in 2021 too, there are 2009 and 2010 liners in the show and they were in Primary school😭, also the oldest was 1998 (22/23 years old), and all other girls are under 21 years old- 2000 to 2010 (3/4 are minors)!

I mean, at this point I'm not surprise, its not my first time watching a survival show, they literally debuted Wonyoung in age 14 and Tzuyu at 15, they also chose this path anyways, and nowadays kpop companies wouldn't accept older idols, I feel like 18 is the limit, I know there's a lot of 20yrs old idols but if you look at all the successful idols in successful groups, you'll see their ages below 18, its very odd but many korean citizens prefer younger idols rather then someone with the age 20 above
True. And they give more chances to the underaged girls instead of young adult ladies. I feel bad for them. They don't have much time to become an idol while the underaged girl has a lot of chances in their remaining youth.

very hot take: anyone who "has the potential to improve" shouldn't be in the final lineup bc there are stronger trainees who are more than qualified to debut, and instead, should train for a little longer. their time will come, but it shouldn't be now bc they're still weak trainees. i've had enough of hyewons and wonhees and vanesyas getting dragged just bc they haven't trained enough.

Also, some people are not as talented as others in singing/rapping/dancing, but they have a charm/personality that's appealing and makes you want to watch them and pay money to see/support them.

Agreed with absically everything you said. My top 8 is Park Yewon, Jeon Jinyeong, Lee Sunwoo, Yona, riel, Narumi, Kim Soobin and Bae Haram. And then Gehlee, Nana and Jayla fall right outside of it. really hoping none of the really young girls get to the final. Like they are talented, but just let them train for a bit longer. this industry is brutal, and the working hours are ridiculous.
i'm pretty sure i heard from recent leaks that riel unfortunately got elimated as well as vanesya (i don't hate her much but i do think she doesn't deserve to debut as other contestants like vu linh dan deserved better) and aya natsumi😭😭

if Hyerin wasn't eliminated, she probably would've been 8 along with Hyeonju (i can't choose between them). As much as I love some contestants, some of them are so young and need time to grow. For example, Lim Seowon is one of my favorite contestants, and shes so stable vocally and is a great dancer for her age. Overall, shes very talented, but I feel like she should debut later on when shes a bit older and has more training. Who knows, maybe she'd become even better than she already is. This is js my opinion though, so don't take it too harshly.

This is too much . They should be atleast 15-16 when participating. i don't get it like they put literal children in a group to debut and then hope the eldest member to be the mom and take care of them. This is so messed. Even though they have talent they still have time to improve it. i don't think they can handle this much hate even the adult idols can't handle. for example vanesya ik her performance was bad but yall are hating on a literal child? you can say like she needs to improve and all but still the hates are too much.

The 8 girls Line-up should be the Best of the Best from Asia: 1 China, 3 Korea, 2 Japan and 2 Philippines. Its called Asian Century! Elisia & Gehlee from PH should be included, both so pretty savage, very pretty register on screen & very nice vocals too, and hardworking to improve talents.
I love Kim Sujin I think people are treating her different because she's competive but it's a survival show. Also people didn't treat Lim Seoweon the same for being competitive. I love her, she has a strong personality and just by what the show shows I think she actually has a good personality. Definitely deserves the title of the most talented on the show. However Elisia definitely gets the top vocal spot she should be a 5/5 her vocal is unmatched even the producers were in love with her voice.
It wasn't the competitiveness. When they asked her to practice with the group she kept saying no, then judges told her to, she said ok and then she went back to the practice room and did the same darn thing 💀 she was being very selfish and annoying. I do actually like her and her skills are great but she really messed up there so I can why people are put off
