Do you already have a bias? Whose growth has made you the proudest? Update: As of July 20, IZNA will be unable to attend KCON LA due to unexpected visa issues. So sorry if this was very long. I wanted to discuss all my thoughts as much possible. Anyway, thank you for watching!
At last, someone who who doesn't think Sarang's only known for visuals and the voice-crack, it's saddening how many people were mocking her at her debut. She's very underrated honestly
I feel like people forget that Survival Shows are popularity contests not talent shows. So trying to say Mai is not talented enough is wrong because these shows are not about talent, they are about making a popular group
when will yall stop saying this like if it was a popularity contest then yuju and fuko both most likely would’ve made it. popular girls have more of a chance of making it but that doesn’t mean they are bound to debut only cause they are popular
If mnet never showed the interim ranking i wonder where fuko would have been placed. Keep in mind the votes difference between Fuko and Mai was less than 3k that could have easily been Mai in 8th instead of Fuko. So the popularity difference between them is not big
@@deborahnwobi1709 obviously you can ask what if, but even still she ranked 8th. In terms of them being popular they didn’t come close to contestants like Jungeun, Jeemim or Jiyoon.
The Mai hate is undeserved. She always tries her best it's not like she lags behind all the members and drags them down, if anything she helps them improve. She also possess amazing visuals and has a strong presence. She will be the face of the group along with Saebi and Jeemin and prove her worth for the team.
I also don't know why ppl hate mai like I've seen many videos like ranking izna in different categories in thos videos mai is in the least position like in vocal she made nasal sound and I also know that but she tried too hard to improve her nasal sound and for main dancer she have been put in 6th and 7th position along with jiyoon but I think that she ia a great dancer after watching someday in videos of her on pintrest and in rap I think if she tries so she can and in even sp they pit her in 6th or 7th while knowing that she is the bestest stage performer Overall in think that in vocal she can fake the 6th place un dance she can take the 3rd place along with sarang, in rap she can have 4th position jb we know that jiyoon, saebi and jeemin can't rap and in sp obviously 1st along with jeemin.❤❤❤
I think being sent to the ground humbled jiyoon a lot and it was much needed for her character development, it warmed my heart seeing her bonding with the grounders by the end before she went back to iland. idk if she would have had the same character development had she not gone to the ground, in earlier episodes she gave me K from iland1 vibes and K never experienced the ground so his mindset never really changed throughout the show like hers did.
YES someone who recognises Saebi’s vocal skill! Ever since seeing the Panorama practice video you can see how she was one of the loudest in the practice and that she has confidence in her voice and not afraid to project. Definitely lead vocal material and someone who can be reliably called on to sing a high note when needed.
Thank you for being on the same boat. I’ve read your other comments about vocal pedagogy in this video, and I’m so happy that someone who actually has knowledge agrees with our analysis with Saebi.
Even though Mai was never one of my picks and she was definitely the least talented out of the top 10 , she doesn’t deserve the hate. I 100% believe she will be able to improve her vocals a lot and she totally brings something to the table. Like she is the most talked about member rn and all of the most liked posts are about her, it's truly giving it girl behavior😭 ig the judges were right with picking her because of her popularity, work ethic and unique visuals. Even though I still think judges should stop deciding members based on potential when people who have alreadr BEEN ready are right here (Fuko, Yuju, Sujung, Juwon😔💔)
I hope that they can, now, receive technical training as is to be long 7 year contract. It was on of the programs's point that really upseted me seeing this girls hurting their voices while there is capable judges not directly helping them.
To tell the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if Jungeun was the leader, as she's the member who's best equipped for the job. Jungeun is the most professional and perfectionist member of the group. Not to mention that Enhypen's leader was the youngest idol, so why not do it with Jungeun too. Because if someone else takes over, I don't see how they'll be able to keep Jungeun's strong personality.
@moozie996 well Fuko also improved in a short amount of time, compared to gp999 it's crazy, But it's a fact that when someone starts one a lower level it's easier to improve and the results are more noticeable, and the better and better you become the harder it is to improve
i think jeemin has always been a good performer and center. however, her confidence during part 1 mainly hindered her to rise beyond people’s perception of her skills as a performer. good thing she started going for it during part 2, showcasing her ability to perform and deliver in diverse concepts, which becomes her main advantage. honestly, im so excited to see how jeemin will improve better, because she just keeps on surprising us. with that being said, i think jeemin would be a great center for this group (if jungeun will not be the center) because of her diversity in concepts and having a commanding stage presence. personally, i think this lineup is really talented and balanced, they have great vocalists, good dancers, able rappers, and all are good in performing.
Yeah after r u next her confidence dropped down, when in reality she was part of the most talented there.. Plus she seems to be a bit shy ? Which she said in the show, meeting new people when everyone already know each other is hard. Never doubted her anyway lol, I even started watching iland2 thanks to her❤ Can definitely see her as the center , she has everything for
@@idonthaveaname7303 gurl im also a Jeemin bias and have follow her since Ru next but its obvious you have favoritism, based on your comments you only actknowledge the talents of your favorites while generalizing or being ignorant of other eliminated contestants which is just dumb🤦
Jiyoon actually have the "voice" for rap too, I noticed in her intro for "drip", her deep voice could fit for rap as well but I think the company gonna make her to focus on vocal and dance. And imo she got a unique charisma when she perform that eventho shes a slow learner in dancing but when she finally learned it she could add her uniqueness to it, that's why I saw a lot of comments in their videos actually noticed her and thinks she stands out in performances
I don't understand why people hate Mai so much when she is literally one of the most hardworking contestant....I don't know why people don't understand the meaning of reality show...they don't organise the program to debutthe perfect contestant but the one who has ambitious to chase his her dreams as well as who is popular and I guess Mai is both...she has popularity plus she is really hardworking...She truly deserved to debut because she showed improvement and always brought something new to the table...other contestants were talented but they never pushed themselves to bringing something new...
mai worked so hard and improved her vocals so much in such a short time to the much where her nasal voice almost disappeared completely , she’s a good dancer i think she might be the lead dancer alongside with jeemin , her rapping is so addictive ive been listening to her part in drama for the longest time ever , she might be the it girl too because of her visuals and her impact if you go to izna’s official accounts you will notice how popular she is , her posts are always most liked and viewed also she’s so popular in china if I’m not wrong she has a video that got 2m likes on weibo , her personality is so good and she’s a team player + leader material so i think she’s really important in this group
@@_.Ruxandra.__ i feel bad for you cause all you do is comment negatively about her try touching some grass maybe ? or find a job instead of hating on barely an adult that has done nothing to you
One thing Jungeun and Jiyoon could work on vocal wise is their vibratos. In, If I were a boy, they were dodging vibratos left and right compared to the original song, and you can see this weakness when Jungeun did that vocal run near the end. It sounded off to me.
You don’t just avoid vibrato - can either do it or not. Being able to use vibrato in singing is all about relaxation and being comfortable in your singing range. Jungeun and Jiyoon simply don’t have enough experience with their own voices yet to have a well developed vibrato because they’re so young and their voices are still maturing. However, not everyone is able to do it because of bad vocal habits e.g. while Nayeon has the characteristic vocal tone of Twice, she is a little strained and never uses vibrato compared to Jihyo. It really is a skill that only main vocalists of a group can show because of how hard it is and how much practice you have to do to understand how your voice works. After a few more years, I can definitely see Jungeun having a nice vibrato because you can hear how rich her vocal tone is even while projecting high notes at C5 or higher. This should mean her mid range is quite comfortable for her to sing in and she just needs to relax a bit more.
Jiyoon can learn how to do those runs quickly Her tone is so unique in latata even though jeemin wasn't in that performance, I listened to hear her part it's like a cool water in the desert 😂
People will never understand that whether they like it or not, visuals matter. Even more than talent. The kpop industry is all about visuals, that's how they gain popularity. No matter who you wanted to win, Mai was 100% the right choice from a marketing perspective. She will bring Izna their popularity in the future as both their token visual and token foreign member.
You are probably few of the people there who put Saebi’s vocal skill higher than 5th/6th and I really appreciate it. I don’t know if those people even watch the same show to say that Saebi’s vocal is weak and unstable when she has been killing it in all performances so far. And your analysis of her having a strong base is very on point and I feel like if she has a good vocal lesson, she will improve so much.
they might not see it now, but i stand with my analysis that Saebi’s vocals have the most potential to improve given her solid base. thank you for having the same thoughts. this makes me confident for my upcoming vocal analysis with them.
finally someone who appreciates saebi's vocals!! I don't understand those tiktok stans who always ranks her 5-6th rank, like did we eveb watch the same show? did they even watch panorama and lovesick girls?😭
ive been team mai for a while and have gotten tired of her mistreatment online. she 100% deserves to be considered for leader (i think several girls could lead in different things, like sarang and koko for dance, jiyoon and jungeun for vocal coaching, saebi and mai for facial/creative ideas). she has so much potential and is more than just a pretty face. i remember one of the producers on the first stage even mentioned that sentiment.
i think it was either producer 24 or taeyang that mentioned mai spent the most time practicing out of all the trainees and showed such determination and improvement which is why she was a producer pick
I don't think Mai will be the leader for several reasons: it's not enough to care about the members, you also have to be good at rapping, singing and dancing - in other words, an all-rounder. When you look at all the kpop leaders, it's the same attitude, not forgetting that she speaks Japanese, not Korean.
@@erickacornu774 hmm? not really though. many kpop leaders aren’t the most talented actually. they are usually just the oldest. (apink chorong, svt scoups, exo suho, bts rm, kep1er yujin, rv irene) - not saying they are not talented. they are just not all rounders like you mentioned and there are other members that are more talented/well versed. but i agree that her being japanese might take the leader role from her
@@denisse3883 Okay, but all the leaders you just mentioned are Korean, not Japanese. Also, the names you mentioned have a lot of experience and stage presence. Mai is a rather quiet person. How can you expect her to be a leader when Jugeun is a powerhouse who won't let you lead easily?
@@erickacornu774 yea so i said that i agree that her japanese might not allow her to have the role. all of the names have experiences but aren’t experiences gained with time and opportunity? so it’s a little weird to say she does not have experience if she wasn’t even given the opportunity to do so
Sarang Future ACE Jungle ACE Koko All rounder Jeemin All rounder (?) Jiyoo an underrated All rounder Saebi best performer of 5th gen (?) Mai stunning visuals and also good performer
I think Mai will be the leader because of her age and leadership abilities. Even though she is not the best in any category of talent, she may be the best for leading the group.
This is the 2nd best lineup for me after Boys Planet. Like I'm 80% satisfied with them. I think Jungeun is one of the immensely talented person to come out from these survival shows. She can rap, sing & dance like every department can be rest assured of her skills. As you said No.1 from the very beginning to No.1 till the very end❤
To be honest the word "deserving" is a bit much. Everyone who made it to the final worked their a$$ off and all of them equally deserves to debut. I get that some people are angry as to why Mai debuted instead of Fuko, but there really isnt anything that we can do right now. Either way the group is still going to continue with the 7 members. Lets just hope that Fuko debuts soon and she will be successful.
Although I am upset for Yuju and Fuko, I think all of the girls bring something into the group. I know a lot of people say Mai is undeserving and I think that although she isn't as talented as the other girls, she's still a decent dancer and has amazing stage presence. Her visuals are unique and definitely will attract people to stan izna, so she has an important role too.
@@jadeball4932 at the end of the day, this is a business, they don't care about talents that much, as long as you can make them money, you're good to go
@@jadeball4932but it’s true, Ik for me and other that somebody’s appearance could catch our eyes. Even though it’s shallow, there are some groups I would’ve never listened to if a member didn’t catch my eye. So appearance diversity does play a big role in groups.
@@parasol3561people like to pretend that visuals don’t matter even though they are basically always complaining about K-pop fans only stanning idols they find attractive
Agreed. I would say if i could choose between sm1 very talented or sm1 who’s only quality is visuals, I would choose the one with talent. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and with enough money visuals can be bought with ps (and its very common these days)
I'm 100% team Mai and I'm tired of people treating her badly, she sings very well. The only nasal performance was the drama one, the first of the program, she manages to stand out no matter what part you give her, she dances very well too and can rap, not to mention that she works very well as a team, I see her as a prominent future of the 5th generation, if they manage to work well the group, Mai and Jeemin could be future it girls.
My commentary while watching the video: @0:54 - Sarang was one of my favourites from the start because of her character. IIRC, she was highly anticipated as a known idol trainee? It felt like she was underappreciated for most of part 1, so I'm happy she maintained a good 1-pick base until the end! For me, her biggest struggle was with herself, so I hope now she has the confidence to shine without doubting herself!
@4:49 - I've to be honest: I overlooked Koko and thought she had a small chance of debuting. I had Sujung as the automatic Main Dancer of the group, but the iWaly challenge and the whole of Part 2 had me falling in love with her! I understand why the PDs/show pushed her even more because, unlike others, she went from just being a good dancer to being a charismatic dancer and a rapper who stands out. Her character and funny friendship with two other popular trainees, Saebi and Jeemin, pushed her even more. (Fellow ARMYs, let me compare the duality stated here to our sunshine rapper and main dancer J-Hope.)
@9:25 - I've to admit her emotional reactiveness at the beginning made me doubt she'd be able to debut. However, I soon draw parallels to another i-Land trainee journey: Ni-ki. The whole i-land vs ground test helped her regain the confidence and pride she had lost, but that small break in between parts 1 and 2 was also key, as I believe she got some feedback and time to reflect outside of the pressure of being in Ground. I'm happy to have seen her growth, she ended up becoming one of my absolute favourites there, she's hilarious and I love how she's managed to stay honest and direct while being supportive of her members!
@13:52 - Wow, mind blown when you said she was destined to participate and debut in the second i-Land which is what RUNext was supposed to be...! Well, I was rooting for her from the start because it was a crime that she hadn't debuted already! And, while at first I thought Mnet was trying to add drama for her towards the end of Part 1, I have to commend the PDs or whoever decided to "penalize" her for going safe instead of showing she deserved to be considered a top contestant. She obviously heeded their advice, faced the challenges and only grew further from it. If she hadn't but still debuted because of her fanbase, it would have seemed undeserving.
@18:15 - For a while, I was also a bit afraid the whole pressure of the show, the conflict with Jiyoon and the low grades she was getting from the audience and PDs would affect her negatively in terms of confidence, attitude and votes. But I'm happy I was wrong. While I think it's a bit risky for the show to expect viewers would react to the unfair feedback and learn to appreciate her more, I hope this has been the case with the Korean viewers, because the appreciation from the Gobal side was constant and unwavering. If so, it was clever of them, because they also needed her to have support from k-side for the future group success. The whole position test episode, reconciliation with Jiyoon and showing both vocalists can work and sound well together were key in securing her spot with k-viewers.
@22:28 - 100% agree. She was one of my favourites from the Final Love Song test as she was so graceful and mature... it was a huge contrast with the drama that was going on with Jiyoon lol But it was cemented for me with the Rain On Me performance. I was so so sure that, regardless of being more or less talented in certain areas than others, they needed her in the group. I read someone on Reddit saying this back then: this isn't a temporary group, being able to last as a group is not just about being popular and successful from the get-go, but about being resilient and able to keep going when things go wrong. I need to bring up my beloved BTS again as I belive Jin is a great example of what we potentially see in Mai: J-Hope once said "I think he [Jin] plays the most important role of maintaining the team together. I think he gives us strength.". GO MAI!
As the number 1 pick, Jungeun deserves the center spot. She is the true ace of the group, she was always a strong dancer, a great vocalist, and in the final episode we saw her rapping. She truly earned 1st and they should respect that and give her the center position.
saebi 3rd in vocal? i think she is good but sarang is 3rd in my opinion, she has showed her skill in multiple stages despite her voice cracks (that is literally natural to any human being) i personally think the vocal ranking goes as: #1 jiyoon #2 jungeun #3sarang #4 saebi #5 jeemin #6 mai #7 koko
The reason why sarang's voice cracks constantly is because she doesn't have much depth/doesn't support when she sings. Yes, voice cracks are normal for an average person, but singers should have (or are expected to) have better control over their voice (having better control lessens the possibility of voice cracks.) Comparing that to Saebi who is more consistent means Saebi has a better foundation than Sarang even if she doesn't have a huge range. Fyi, high notes ≠ good singing.
@@sseashll nah do you even know haewon in nmixx she is known as the second best singer in the 4th generation and she had multiple voice cracks and she's know for it yet she is one-off the best singers
Im bias of Mai, just cause of all the hate she gets. i believe she has a chance to show us her vocal range like she did in drama her vocal tone is just chef kisses, but at the same time, i think she would fit in any notes that aren't too high for her since her deep raspy voice fits her perfectly.
i thought fuko or yuju deserved to be in the lineup, but i think the final lineup has a pretty talented group of girls. even though koko wasn't in my lineup, i think her dancing is really good and for rap I am sure she will be able to rap in more than one language as a new goal! mai is so detail oriented and makes her relatable in her growth as well as being a visual that draws the public eye to remember izna, so I feel like the hate is so uncalled for tbh like she has so much popularity of course she would be chosen!
the people calling it rigged are just lying to themselves. producer picks are not rigged, they're literally called PRODUCERS' picks, i.e., not you. 'its rigged' no, its their choice. them not choosing your fave is not rigging. the general public literally got to choose 5 members all by themselves- that’s huge. the producers never liked Yuju (not her fault), they weren’t picking Gyuri because she looks super cute and young (not her fault either). They wanted Fuko as a main vocalist until they realised that, though they didn't like her, we all wanted Jungeun. They did not want more than two main vocalists and Jiyoon was their favourite of the three. Mai was not Fuko's competition, Jungeun was, and Mai was not Yuju's competition either, Koko was.
Exactly, out of jungeun and fuko, jungeun was the better pick. Shes a better singer, dancer, and performer. No hate to fuko because she was the 2nd best all rounder (to me) from the whole show after jungeun. And like you said jiyoon was already a given because she was popular with not only the producers but also the fans of the show. I totally still want fuko in the group and I do think she deserved to be in the group more than mai but at the same time they bring different things to the table so it isnt right to even compare them. For yuju, I genuinely dont know why people wanted her in the group. I think shes good but I think people deserved the spot more than her. Lets continue to root for fuko, yuju, and izna.
Jiyoons debut is a proof that survival shows are becoming more humane. My greatest fear was she will be shunned by the netizens due to her attitude but its a surprise because people understood the realness and uniqueness of her personality and grew out to love her honesty. Best character arc ever
@@leeya_-qz9is will because people idolize and praise her behavior while others gets lot of criticism but if it's her they twisted it for her look an angel instead. What Hypocrisy
I'm so glad Jiyoon debuted despite her "bad" attitude but honestly I think the only reason people accepted her was because Mnet gave her a redeeming storyline in the show because she was one of their contenders for the final lineup. Unfortunately, if she wasn't interesting enough to Mnet (like, let's say Lingling or other trainees that barely had screentime) viewers wouldn't see Jiyoon's growth and personality and she would've been labeled as yet another survival show villain and would have been eliminated.
This is the most well-rounded analysis I've seen on IZNA! I remember loving your BP/ZB1 analysis as well. 🥰 I appreciate that you truly went in-depth about each members' strengths and areas of improvements, instead of just focusing on one or the other. I agree that every member has their individual strengths and things to work on. In particular, I loved your comment on Saebi's reliable vocals throughout the competition because I totally agree! She surprised me in Panorama and I have been a fan of her ever since. Also, I feel like a lot of people just call Mai the visual pick, but I'm glad you mentioned that she is more than just a visual with her improvements, positive, team-player attitude despite losing out on positions and songs she wanted, stage presence, and being overall supportive and helpful to her teammates. Throughout the competition, I noticed and appreciated the Rain on Me leadership, her comforting Sujung, and helping with the dance moves on the last round. I'm glad you brought this up! I feel like people forget that although she is a visual, the show clearly displayed different sides of her in her personality and talent. I do prefer the talents of certain contestants, and Fuko was my one-pick since episode 1 (and still hoping she'll debut soon!), but overall, I think IZNA as a whole has great potential.
Those BP and ZB1 analyses were done more than a year ago, so thank you so much for continuing to watch our content. I really appreciate it knowing how you still remember them. Thank you!
Honestly i have no problems with Mai debuting but the problem is Taeyang saying that they picked her with the producer because of her visuals and not talent. Saying that was just asking for people to attack her
you need to watch his reason with proper translation again. he also said its bc of her growth and attitude which can be the pillar for the team to be together for a long time.
they said more than just her visuals, they liked her because of her ability to grow at a fast rate and on screen/behind screen attitude. like did you watch the live
Visuals was only a part of Taeyang his explanation. A major reason they picked her was her attitude. Any critism she gets, she took and worked with. She was an incredibly hard worker on the show, never complaining when given a small part. She is very detail oriented, as you could see in their practices when she helps others with the choreo.
But he didn't say that, he literally said it's because he values attitude off stage as much as on stage, and Mai's hard work and dedicated impressed him.
I already shared many, if not all, of the opinions here, but I'm happy to see the work of the PDs (or label) in giving the right challenges to certain trainees being appreciated. I believe they had a clear vision of the type of trainees they wanted and several fit that vision, it was just a matter of seeing how they all would fit together and if they showed the potential to go beyond what they were originally good at. The fact all of the debuting members were OG I-landers shows the pool of potential trainees was clear, and not that big, from the start (even Yuju was OG I-lander even if voted out because i-land was over capacity lol).
My lineup! (TALENT + VISUALS) 1st group FUKO - Main Vocalist, Leader, FOTG YUJU - Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Lead vocalist SUJUNG - Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist JIYOON - Main Vocalist SARANG - Visual, Lead Rapper, Lead Vocalist Mai - Visual, Lead Rapper LINGLING - Lead Rapper, Lead Vocalist, Center 2nd group!! YEEUN - Leader, Visual, Vocalist JEENIM - Center, Lead Vocalist, FOTG JUNGEUN - Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer KOKO - Main Dancer, Main Rapper SAEBI - Lead Vocalist, Lead Rapper
I was actually scared for Jungeun that she might not debut because of her visual (you know what I'm talking about). Her visual isn't really what Korean people want (they are annoying 💀). That's why other people with her visual type resorts to a badass facade. She is actually cute for a badass looking visual. She is VERY mature for her age. She is definitely the Leader. Also the feud between Jungeun and Jiyoon, will definitely side with Jungeun. Tho i don't hate Jiyoon. 😂 I wasn't expecting Jungeun to debut actually but was so happy I was wrong. ❤ Koko bias here. 😘
I definitely agree with what you said about Ryu Sarang! Glad someone pointed her strengths! She indeed had this certain aura just like Jay from I-land 1 who also had a certain aura.
I just don't understand why there are people who hate sarang and say pd favor her because of her visual....In fact she's very talented that's why producers love her
Jiyoon can learn how to do those runs quickly for the if i was a boy Her tone is so unique in latata even though jeemin wasn't in that performance, I listened to hear her part her voice is like a cool water in the desert 😂 i hope she improves more-
-and jeemin too, has the best hand technique in the show, I loved it in money, drip and lver her dancing and groove are very good too with more vocal training I'm pretty sure she'll attract a lot more people ❤
Jiyoon reminds me of Rose. She looks and sounds like her. Jungeong reminds me of winter, her looks and how she sings. Koko reminds me of Lisa, her looks, dance and rap. I am being delusional right now lol but that’s how I see it. In which episode did saebi speak English ? I want to go watch
Saebi didn’t technically converse in English but I believe it was in ep 8 (blackmade test) that she revealed she studied in New Zealand, hence, she’s fluent. It was specifically the part where she was helping Koko to rap in English.
@@Spacerecord-yv5ozi watched their livestreams before but you can find the full episodes with English subs in other external sources such as websites, bilibili, and dailymotion
Winter is way better than Jungeun in every department. Not a shade to Jungeun. But I can see where u are coming from. The high pitch penetrating high notes are similar.
Not sure if it'd be the same case this time as Wakeone is now handling Iland 2. Honestly the only connection between the first season of Iland to the second season is just the survival show name and premise. Everything else is different
honestly, this could be my personal opinion but i see jungeun more as a main vocal and/or an all-rounder, of course, her being a leader is pretty evident at this point but it also scares me a bit because she is the second youngest, she'll probably have a hard time but i hope she does really well also, it is evident that she is the fotg because she was the 1st in fan votes it was shocking to even me that she overtook jeemin but good for her
I don't think her age would be a hindrance to her taking up the leadership role. It's been shown in the show that she feigns fine as leader despite getting grouped with trainees older than her. Plus, Jungwon is the 2nd youngest member of Enhypen and he's doing fine. I trust she'd be able to do the same. (Also, wouldn't it be cool if the two I-land leaders were both the 1st placers AND the second youngest of their respective groups? Idk I just made that observation as I write this comment haha)
My heart broke when Fuko's name wasn't called, but I understand that idols need a lot of flexibility to adapt to different concepts...and the only opportunity she got to do something different, she didn't rise to that challenge 💔😞
I just HOPE fans are not going to start with the comparisons and saying who's better who's not between them and other 5th gen groups, both IZNA's fans and other fandoms pleaseee just don't I really hate when the comparison starts because, although the girls are not at fault for the fans behaviour, personally I start disliking the group itself for the fandom's actions, and I'm really liking IZNA even tho I didn't watch I LAND, so please please please chill
Personally, I'm really satisfied with this lineup because all my favorite picks are in. And I'm so glad that Sarang and Saebi make it too. Even though people want to take Sarang down, she mastered every single task that was given to her. Saebi has the star potential, the idol potential, with some lack like anyone. I'm not mad, and I'm not really affected by the fact that fuko didn't make it to the final lineup. From my perspective, fuko was too constant, like we didn't see her mastered or Overcome what she can does or what she usually does. And 4walls Representing the performance where she had the opportunity to show us something brand new, something really fresh and different from what we usually saw from her. In conclusion, I've seen nothing more that she didn't show us from the beginning. But I really do want to see her debut as a solo artist more than in a group it would be a lot better.😊❤
WHATEVER WILL HAPPEN TO JUNGEUN MOSTLY BY KOREAN NETIZEN IN THE FUTURE, I WILL DEFINITELY DEFEND HER.☺️ korean netizen should look at themselves first before judging👎🏻👎🏻
IZNA is like the ultimate combination from big Korean companies Mai - Yeji JYP Saebi - Wonyoung Starship Sarang - SM flower visual Koko - is like Momo + Lisa Jiyoon - recommended by 24 Blacklabel Jungeun - reminds me of Minzy 2NE1 + Natty KIOF Jeemin - 1st rank trainee from HYBE
I LOVED the whole Jiyoon section. Not only did you hit every single point correctly, but i also think that is a great way to show jiyoon’s journey and how impactful it is.
I agree with this video! And everything you said and also the one i hoped to get in also did not. Also positions would be Jeemin - center, vocalist Jiyoon - main vocalist Jungeun - lead singer, lead dancer, rapper Sarang - lead rapper, lead dancer, visual and potential lead vocalist Koko - main dancer, main rapper Mai - leader, visual Saebi - vocalist, maknae (id say shes the better centre cause of her stage presence but jeemin is deff the official centre due to popularity)
I think mai is a deserving member not just because she's showed dramatic and consistent improvement throughout the show but also because she's shown multiple times to be an incredibly important team player who can make something good with little to work with as she showed during the choreography challenge but also just by helping her group mates
@@jf_leboss2937 It doesn't strain, her voice is more on the raspy side, also sarang is not a better vocalist than jeemin and saebi, she's really unstable and her vocal technique isn't good, but she does have a bigger vocal range
Actually Saebi is better vocalist than Jeemin, I don't understand why is everyone saying Jeemin is better vocalist when she's not, she is good in other skills tho.
FUKO was truly a deserving contestant She has talent for singing n composing, her lyrics connected with audience the most could become a very good idol SUPPORTING U FUKO CHAN ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Badly want her to debut solo😭😭😭
Y'all I know this is about izna but did y'all see the bad boy dance practice😭?? My girl kangji can sing!! Thats actually wild like why were people not talking about it, I thought she was hopeless ngl but she has potential!! It makes me think about how many contestants in these survival shows whose talents just go unnoticed cause we didn't get to showcase it
Sarang is good at dancer and rap, i cant recommended her to sing in high key note Same for jeemin, but her aura center, dance is development, she can be visual or fotg Mai is dancer, sub vocal, visual Jiyoon main vocalist Jungeun main vocalist, lead dancer, rapper Koko main dancer, main rapper And saebi can be 2nd center i think, her sp and expression on the stage is pretty good
i think main rapper will be koko because in fake it show sarang's rap part was like saying a sentence quickly but she has a good tone for rapping but if we look at koko's spicy performance ,she can rap easily so sarang could lead rapper and koko could main rapper and main dancer all of them are my opinion
Out of the final 7 debut members, Mai was the only one not on my favorite list which included Fuko instead. It was heartbreaking to watch Fuko crying at the end. She had worked so hard. I can't help but think Fuko could have debuted if she had chosen one of the hip-hop/girl crush songs instead of the girlish one in the last mission. It was pretty obvious the producers were testing their all-rounder capabilities and Fuko would have done much better to show versatility, instead of proficiency within her comfort zone.
THANK YOU someone FINALLY acknowledging saebi's vocals!! In all the vocal ranking videos of izna i have seen so far, everyone ranks saebi as 5th or 6th in vocals.
Can u please do a final 12 talent analysis? I would like to see an in depth analysis of the top 12! I also miss the top 12 and feel like some were overshadowed by others and maybe it will bring light to some girls talents people overlook
The thing about sarang and Mai hate doesn’t come from ther own talent and ability imo, but rather from the fact that they were favoured by mnet and the producers but never deliver a jaw dropping performance. the other 4 of the group did (jungeun was not favoured) with: Jeemin:almost every stage she took part in but money is a great example Koko: Spicy and IWALY Jiyoon: Eyes, Nose, Lips and If I were a boy Saebi: Lovesick girls and Panorama I’m not saying that those are the only songs they stole the show (since for example Saebi won over Koko in IWALY) and I’m also not saying that Mai and Sarang doesn’t have a great performance (Saran with the group dance mission and Mai with Fake it) but what I’m saying is that they didn’t steal the show and the impact wasn’t strong enough to people who root for anyone but them to overlook the favouritism and see their talents Pd:I didn’t have neither Sarang or Mai in my final 7 if someone is thinking that I’m a bias of either of them
That's complete, bs lol. Sarang's LAW performance is easily top 5 most mentioned on stan twt and TikiTok. It's a super iconic performance. People just hate to hate. Quit making excuses.
@@sapphire6806 I was trying to defend her but ok, and I trust me I don’t know what you are talking about tbh. I didn’t include the performances that they did before episode one since most of the people who watched the SS (myself included) didn’t watch those performances, so I do not think that had much weight on the decision of imates
For me , i think sarang can be the more talented member , she made a mistake . But instead she has a unique vocal , a good tone for rap , her dance skill and SP are on top and her versatility is insane . her tone is similar to jennie blackpink . .
@@SenalFernando-p7e Yeaah but jungeun we see all of her talent ( dance, sing, rap) but sarang we know she’s talented but if she improve she can make suprise
Oh I am beyond excited for this cause my personal opinions on some of the girls ….are very critical and I really don’t hold back (not in a mean way lol but as a choir singer for majority of my life and a dancer I’m a little eagle eyed lol) so I’m excited to see your analysis
I know this may sound like hate, hopefully it doesn’t though. This is a really unpopular opinion but I feel like as a casual viewer of iland 2, I felt that Mai’s performances stagnated in Part 2 even though everyone else has said that she improved. I loved her performance in drama and rain on me, and I guess her part 2 performances were just okay, she just didn’t stand out to me.
To be honest she's the best candidate for leader among them. Mai and jeemin are a little too passive, they need to know how to stood their ground more and jiyoon still have to work on her anger issues, she even said it herself that she can't handle leadership. Fuko would have been a good leader as well but she didn't debut. Jungeun is the most suitable, she knows how to stand for what she knows is the best for the group without been arrogant about it, she listens to all and choose the best/most logical option
idk if I am just feeling this or not, but do you guys think this Jungeon-Jiyoon drama and poor Jungeon scores were created so that people would mass vote her and make Fuko slip out the ranks cause they did not want a foreign member to be ranked so high/ win?? I am not dissing the final lineup and after this video explaining all of them, I really like them but I feel Fuko got done really dirty by this show.
I dont think fuko was ever ranked top three in the show so if mean won by using that logic than no but if you mean won by talking about her making it in the group than possibly. Im leaning torwards no because even tho everyone wanted fuko in the final lineup she wasnt a lot of peoples number one. Remember you could only vote for one person so ofc thats gonna be most peoples number one. I think it really came down to popularity and being a favorite and since fuko wasnt anyones favorite she couldnt secure a spot in the group but the producers not saving her is very strange because she deserved to be at least the fourth member in the group to me. They really shouldve just saved all three, saebi, mai, and fuko. Since thats not what happened lets just continue to support the group with whos in it.
Do you already have a bias? Whose growth has made you the proudest?
Update: As of July 20, IZNA will be unable to attend KCON LA due to unexpected visa issues.

@@aesglow which is why they ranked 8th and 9th…

I also don't know why ppl hate mai like I've seen many videos like ranking izna in different categories in thos videos mai is in the least position like in vocal she made nasal sound and I also know that but she tried too hard to improve her nasal sound and for main dancer she have been put in 6th and 7th position along with jiyoon but I think that she ia a great dancer after watching someday in videos of her on pintrest and in rap I think if she tries so she can and in even sp they pit her in 6th or 7th while knowing that she is the bestest stage performer
Overall in think that in vocal she can fake the 6th place un dance she can take the 3rd place along with sarang, in rap she can have 4th position jb we know that jiyoon, saebi and jeemin can't rap and in sp obviously 1st along with jeemin.❤❤❤

I’ve read your other comments about vocal pedagogy in this video, and I’m so happy that someone who actually has knowledge agrees with our analysis with Saebi.
thank you for saying facts for Sarang she's so talented !!!

Even though I still think judges should stop deciding members based on potential when people who have alreadr BEEN ready are right here (Fuko, Yuju, Sujung, Juwon😔💔)
i have high hopes for Mai! come on girl, surprise us more!
Because if someone else takes over, I don't see how they'll be able to keep Jungeun's strong personality.
improved short amount of time is criteria for talented people btw
@moozie996 well Fuko also improved in a short amount of time, compared to gp999 it's crazy,
But it's a fact that when someone starts one a lower level it's easier to improve and the results are more noticeable, and the better and better you become the harder it is to improve
i think jeemin has always been a good performer and center. however, her confidence during part 1 mainly hindered her to rise beyond people’s perception of her skills as a performer. good thing she started going for it during part 2, showcasing her ability to perform and deliver in diverse concepts, which becomes her main advantage. honestly, im so excited to see how jeemin will improve better, because she just keeps on surprising us. with that being said, i think jeemin would be a great center for this group (if jungeun will not be the center) because of her diversity in concepts and having a commanding stage presence.
personally, i think this lineup is really talented and balanced, they have great vocalists, good dancers, able rappers, and all are good in performing.
you are very on point with Jeemin!
Yeah after r u next her confidence dropped down, when in reality she was part of the most talented there.. Plus she seems to be a bit shy ? Which she said in the show, meeting new people when everyone already know each other is hard.
Never doubted her anyway lol, I even started watching iland2 thanks to her❤

Jiyoon actually have the "voice" for rap too, I noticed in her intro for "drip", her deep voice could fit for rap as well but I think the company gonna make her to focus on vocal and dance. And imo she got a unique charisma when she perform that eventho shes a slow learner in dancing but when she finally learned it she could add her uniqueness to it, that's why I saw a lot of comments in their videos actually noticed her and thinks she stands out in performances
usually singers, given with the good quality of their voice & their basics, can adapt easily to rap

One thing Jungeun and Jiyoon could work on vocal wise is their vibratos. In, If I were a boy, they were dodging vibratos left and right compared to the original song, and you can see this weakness when Jungeun did that vocal run near the end. It sounded off to me.
great attention to details!
Jiyoon can learn how to do those runs quickly
Her tone is so unique in latata even though jeemin wasn't in that performance, I listened to hear her part it's like a cool water in the desert 😂
@@tombraidermasterman? Jungeun gets thinner even in the 4th octave sometimes I’m confused
Sarang is indeed the ace of the IZNA ❤
You are probably few of the people there who put Saebi’s vocal skill higher than 5th/6th and I really appreciate it. I'm so sad😢
ive been team mai for a while and have gotten tired of her mistreatment online. she 100% deserves to be considered for leader (i think several girls could lead in different things, like sarang and koko for dance, jiyoon and jungeun for vocal coaching, saebi and mai for facial/creative ideas). she has so much potential and is more than just a pretty face. i remember one of the producers on the first stage even mentioned that sentiment.
i think it was either producer 24 or taeyang that mentioned mai spent the most time practicing out of all the trainees and showed such determination and improvement which is why she was a producer pick
To be honest the word "deserving" is a bit much. Everyone who made it to the final worked their a$$ off and all of them equally deserves to debut.
My commentary while watching the video:
@0:54 - Sarang was one of my favourites from the start because of her character.
GO MAI!
They should utilize JIYOON's deep voice in their future songs, it is so addicting and soulful!😭
i hope so please

Why is there no all-rounder? Jungeun is easily the most talented member
Jungeun has always been the strongest all-rounder that’s why it disappointed me how that was kind of forgotten past episode 1 because of the drama.
Sarang and Jungeun are all rounders
cool analysis. I also prefer Saebi's Center Quality, I hope she can get a chance to do it.
i really believe she can, depending on their concept
YESS i hope jeemin & saebi get to rotate based on the different concepts they might have !!
As the number 1 pick, Jungeun deserves the center spot. She is the true ace of the group, she was always a strong dancer, a great vocalist, and in the final episode we saw her rapping. She truly earned 1st and they should respect that and give her the center position.
Honestly jungeun is an all rounder❤
Mai improved in such a short period of time that I think by year 2 of IZNA's career, she'll be good enough to be an all-rounder.
saebi 3rd in vocal? i think she is good but sarang is 3rd in my opinion, she has showed her skill in multiple stages despite her voice cracks (that is literally natural to any human being) i personally think the vocal ranking goes as: #1 jiyoon #2 jungeun #3sarang #4 saebi #5 jeemin #6 mai #7 koko
RIGHT I was confused when I heard that statement 😅
Yeah sarang is 3rd saebi is good but in high note she push too much
The reason why sarang's voice cracks constantly is because she doesn't have much depth/doesn't support when she sings.

The best lineup made through a survival show 😭 theyll be great once they make their debut .. 👏
Jiyoons debut is a proof that survival shows are becoming more humane. My greatest fear was she will be shunned by the netizens due to her attitude but its a surprise because people understood the realness and uniqueness of her personality and grew out to love her honesty. Best character arc ever
Uhmm being childish isn't unique at all but she has a good side of her tho
@Kiwipoi has a good side on her then why hate her girl
@@leeya_-qz9is will because people idolize and praise her behavior while others gets lot of criticism but if it's her they twisted it for her look an angel instead. What Hypocrisy
@@KiwipoiShe is wayy more better than your faves who fake their personnallity off cam just to make polemics and get cancel later
Totally agree with you, Mai secure her position at the last performance
Yes, I love Jeemin center!!! She shines through best as center
Saying that was just asking for people to attack her
So blame to Taeyang 😂 the words will be forever on the tv. taeyang so honest . soorry Mai
you need to watch his reason with proper translation again. he also said its bc of her growth and attitude which can be the pillar for the team to be together for a long time.
they said more than just her visuals, they liked her because of her ability to grow at a fast rate and on screen/behind screen attitude. like did you watch the live
My lineup! (TALENT + VISUALS)
1st group
FUKO - Main Vocalist, Leader, FOTG
YUJU - Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Lead vocalist
SUJUNG - Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist
JIYOON - Main Vocalist
SARANG - Visual, Lead Rapper, Lead Vocalist
Mai - Visual, Lead Rapper
LINGLING - Lead Rapper, Lead Vocalist, Center
2nd group!!
YEEUN - Leader, Visual, Vocalist
JEENIM - Center, Lead Vocalist, FOTG
JUNGEUN - Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer
KOKO - Main Dancer, Main Rapper
SAEBI - Lead Vocalist, Lead Rapper
I was actually scared for Jungeun that she might not debut because of her visual (you know what I'm talking about).
Her visual isn't really what Korean people want (they are annoying 💀). That's why other people with her visual type resorts to a badass facade.
She is actually cute for a badass looking visual.
She is VERY mature for her age. She is definitely the Leader.
Also the feud between Jungeun and Jiyoon, will definitely side with Jungeun. Tho i don't hate Jiyoon. 😂
I wasn't expecting Jungeun to debut actually but was so happy I was wrong. ❤
Koko bias here. 😘
Same here, but I hate Jiyoon😬
@@KiwipoiSame here but I hate Jungeun
@@lynneloud8565what did Jungeun do to you?
I definitely agree with what you said about Ryu Sarang! Glad someone pointed her strengths! She indeed had this certain aura just like Jay from I-land 1 who also had a certain aura.
Ikr and I am most happy that both of them whom I supported debut😌
My April babies 💕🩵
I would be interested to see jeemin as an mc since she seems the perfect match for a mc
music shows such as mcountdown or any other mnet-owned gigs for sure
SARANG!!!!
i love mai also she is my bias and sarang❤❤😊
I just don't understand why there are people who hate sarang and say pd favor her because of her visual....In fact she's very talented that's why producers love her
Jiyoon can learn how to do those runs quickly for the if i was a boy
Her tone is so unique in latata even though jeemin wasn't in that performance, I listened to hear her part her voice is like a cool water in the desert 😂 i hope she improves more-
-and jeemin too, has the best hand technique in the show, I loved it in money, drip and lver her dancing and groove are very good too with more vocal training I'm pretty sure she'll attract a lot more people ❤
Jiyoon reminds me of Rose.
@@EKCristobal oh ok thank You 🙏

Winter is way better than Jungeun in every department. Not a shade to Jungeun. But I can see where u are coming from. The high pitch penetrating high notes are similar.
Was surprised Fuko didn't make it. Liked Yuju. Remember iland 1 the ones that didn't make it, still debut as a different group.
hopefully!
Not sure if it'd be the same case this time as Wakeone is now handling Iland 2. Honestly the only connection between the first season of Iland to the second season is just the survival show name and premise. Everything else is different
This group literally has the most versatile artists I’ve ever seen.
mai improved a lot in such a short amount of time without professional help. that is very impressive.
MAI TALENTED AND DESERVED DEBUT
honestly, this could be my personal opinion but i see jungeun more as a main vocal and/or an all-rounder, of course, her being a leader is pretty evident at this point but it also scares me a bit because she is the second youngest, she'll probably have a hard time but i hope she does really well
also, it is evident that she is the fotg because she was the 1st in fan votes
it was shocking to even me that she overtook jeemin but good for her
I don't think her age would be a hindrance to her taking up the leadership role.
After watching iland2 drama performance i choose Jungeun as my bias she is literally a all rounder 💕😩
Same ❤
My heart broke when Fuko's name wasn't called, but I understand that idols need a lot of flexibility to adapt to different concepts...and the only opportunity she got to do something different, she didn't rise to that challenge 💔😞
I just HOPE fans are not going to start with the comparisons and saying who's better who's not between them and other 5th gen groups, both IZNA's fans and other fandoms pleaseee just don't
I really hate when the comparison starts because, although the girls are not at fault for the fans behaviour, personally I start disliking the group itself for the fandom's actions, and I'm really liking IZNA even tho I didn't watch I LAND, so please please please chill
WHATEVER WILL HAPPEN TO JUNGEUN MOSTLY BY KOREAN NETIZEN IN THE FUTURE, I WILL DEFINITELY DEFEND HER.☺️
korean netizen should look at themselves first before judging👎🏻👎🏻
IZNA is like the ultimate combination from big Korean companies
Mai - Yeji JYP
Saebi - Wonyoung Starship
Sarang - SM flower visual
Koko - is like Momo + Lisa
Jiyoon - recommended by 24 Blacklabel
Jungeun - reminds me of Minzy 2NE1 + Natty KIOF
Jeemin - 1st rank trainee from HYBE
I LOVED the whole Jiyoon section. Not only did you hit every single point correctly, but i also think that is a great way to show jiyoon’s journey and how impactful it is.
Thank you!
I agree with this video! And everything you said and also the one i hoped to get in also did not. Also positions would be
Jeemin - center, vocalist
Jiyoon - main vocalist
Jungeun - lead singer, lead dancer, rapper
Sarang - lead rapper, lead dancer, visual and potential lead vocalist
Koko - main dancer, main rapper
Mai - leader, visual
Saebi - vocalist, maknae (id say shes the better centre cause of her stage presence but jeemin is deff the official centre due to popularity)
jungeun for the leader! and saebi and jeemin for the center!
Sarang is such an allrounder but ppl just like to hate i guess
If you know Jay from Enhypen, you understand the same vibe Sarang has. She'll be doing good even though there are haters out there.
I think mai is a deserving member not just because she's showed dramatic and consistent improvement throughout the show but also because she's shown multiple times to be an incredibly important team player who can make something good with little to work with as she showed during the choreography challenge but also just by helping her group mates
scuse me 3 best vocal saebi💀i mean she’s good but maybe 5th best
1.Jiyoon
2.Jeugeun
3.Sarang
4.Jeemin
5.Saebi
6.Mai /koko

@@sophiamukaevaquisanie yeah but like idk it strains most of the time look at panorama and lovesick girls compared tp jeemin and sarang la vie on rose

Actually Saebi is better vocalist than Jeemin, I don't understand why is everyone saying Jeemin is better vocalist when she's not, she is good in other skills tho.
FUKO was truly a deserving contestant
She has talent for singing n composing, her lyrics connected with audience the most could become a very good idol

Sarang is good at dancer and rap, i cant recommended her to sing in high key note
Same for jeemin, but her aura center, dance is development, she can be visual or fotg
Mai is dancer, sub vocal, visual
Jiyoon main vocalist
Jungeun main vocalist, lead dancer, rapper
Koko main dancer, main rapper
And saebi can be 2nd center i think, her sp and expression on the stage is pretty good
Main rapper & dancer NARAI KOKO 🔥🔥
I need a full video ranking the final 12 contestants in terms of talent, ex: vocal , dance , rap , etc!
i think main rapper will be koko because in fake it show sarang's rap part was like saying a sentence quickly but she has a good tone for rapping but if we look at koko's spicy performance ,she can rap easily so sarang could lead rapper and koko could main rapper and main dancer all of them are my opinion
Jungeun also rapped on CAPTEEN when she was younger
i need to check it out! thank you for the reco~
Bang Jeemin the best center 💯🔥❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU someone FINALLY acknowledging saebi's vocals!! In all the vocal ranking videos of izna i have seen so far, everyone ranks saebi as 5th or 6th in vocals.

Can u please do a final 12 talent analysis? I would like to see an in depth analysis of the top 12! I also miss the top 12 and feel like some were overshadowed by others and maybe it will bring light to some girls talents people overlook
The thing about sarang and Mai hate doesn’t come from ther own talent and ability imo, but rather from the fact that they were favoured by mnet and the producers but never deliver a jaw dropping performance.
the other 4 of the group did (jungeun was not favoured) with:
Jeemin:almost every stage she took part in but money is a great example
Koko: Spicy and IWALY
Jiyoon: Eyes, Nose, Lips and If I were a boy
Saebi: Lovesick girls and Panorama
I’m not saying that those are the only songs they stole the show (since for example Saebi won over Koko in IWALY) and I’m also not saying that Mai and Sarang doesn’t have a great performance (Saran with the group dance mission and Mai with Fake it) but what I’m saying is that they didn’t steal the show and the impact wasn’t strong enough to people who root for anyone but them to overlook the favouritism and see their talents
Pd:I didn’t have neither Sarang or Mai in my final 7 if someone is thinking that I’m a bias of either of them
Agreed the only impact n-ai has done is abt her visuals nothing else

That's complete, bs lol.
Sarang's LAW performance is easily top 5 most mentioned on stan twt and TikiTok. It's a super iconic performance.
People just hate to hate. Quit making excuses.
@@sapphire6806 I was trying to defend her but ok, and I trust me I don’t know what you are talking about tbh. I didn’t include the performances that they did before episode one since most of the people who watched the SS (myself included) didn’t watch those performances, so I do not think that had much weight on the decision of imates
well sarang made it through votes, so that argument doesn't really work for her
Jungeun all rounder.Vocal no.2 rap no.2 dance no.2/no.3
Tbh i think Sarang could be a strong all-rounder position too like Jeemin, she might be a center in their next album.
they would've definitely made saebi the center and jeemin the leader
Analysis of story progression alway left me in a bad taste because it is always carefully edited by the PD.
For me , i think sarang can be the more talented member , she made a mistake . But instead she has a unique vocal , a good tone for rap , her dance skill and SP are on top and her versatility is insane . her tone is similar to jennie blackpink .

I loved her performance in drama and rain on me, and I guess her part 2 performances were just okay, she just didn’t stand out to me.

With how uncomfortable Jungeun felt as leader, idk if she's be down for it (or at least without a co-leader or smth)
