As a new player the one thing i'm hating about the game is that you can't see a lot of the hidden stats on all units. Stats like vision range, damage, weapon types, damage fall off, accuracy. There's literally no way to know what unit will beat what apart from banging your head against the wall long enough untill it's intuition. Would've really thought that in a competitive game these would be necessary. Really frustrating.
and just when you think you know the stats - boom each veterancy rank on each different unit gives a bonus modifying them in some way
they were greatly improved over the brits in COH1 shame they never made a british campaign in COH2 they should redo the COH1 campaign for COH2.
COH3 will take place in Africa.
Unsure if you know this, or if you have already taught this, but in case you haven’t.
Pressing “TAB” key will cycle through all your units. But pressing tab while you have units selected will only cycle through those selected units. And unlike other similar rts games using tab gives you direct command of individual squd units instead of issuing commands to everyone combined

Medic squad is acualy a cheap way of boosting your emplacements. You can just put them in there to get the extra firerate and pop them out when you need some healing.
Vision too for the mortar pit. Mortar pit doesn't provide vision IIRC

Damn, i somewhat liked the UKF as i sucked with them before. But once i learned about infantry being better at long range. They have become my favorite faction and have an easier early game.

Over The UC against machine guns. The WASP has a thicker front armor than vanilla and Vickers K Variant.So it is a little bit safer for direct engaging machine guns in houses.
Also,the axis machine guns shoot tracers while activating AP rounds which is super easy to tell. UC may can't escape in time though.
What needed to be take a close look at is captured DShK and .50cal
they don't shoot tracers while using AP rounds and they can also melt UC in no time.

Also if the enemy just camp in the house, flame uc would be better, you can attack ground with that thing so you don't need to get too close to get snare by at
Hence why you need to observe the full reload animation which plays when they activate heat rounds rather than waiting for the shots to start.

Am I the only one who dislikes the changes to sappers and medics in the recent patches? Gimmicky af as they were but it made things seem more specialised. As well medics gave a healing option early game at the cost of manpower meaning delayed tier2

Struggling to find the Bootcamp part 1. What is the root to the boot camp, how do you get to Bootcamp within the game.
When I say struggling to find British bootcamp I don't mean your UA-cam videos. I'm talking about actual game play. When I go into Steam - CoH2- Tutorials-Training Grounds - it says there is no training camp for british forces. How do I fing the bootcamp in the actual game?

Are you saying riflemen and conscripts are close range squads? I dont think so. At least not conscripts.
USF riflemen use m1 garands which perform better at medium engagements, just like penals and g43 grens, conscripts, use mosins which like all other bolt action units, perform better at long range, however, the stats of the conscripts, compared to grenadiers or volks, are lower, so in order for them to out perform against long range infantry, they have to close the distance and engage them using 6 guns vs 4-5

What why would you waste the keybind like that either move mouse to edge of screen, middle mouse to pan, tactical map, or a combination of any.
Where can I get the cheat commands mod?
Anyone help? Been trying to get back on CoH2 for a while and when I launch the game it won't and just says it just says graphics setup error, check directX, drivers and stuff. I have checked all. All are up to date. I think maybe it's Windows 10? Any help would be amazing. I used to be able to play it on this laptop and now I just can't and it's so annoying
Try reinstalling your drivers. If that fails try to reach out to Relic.

This is the problem with British faction and why they overperform. Self mass healing squads , self repairing vehicles , artillery for infantry as well as full cover options and trenches and a bonus in cover they don't even need, as they can beat other infantry out of cover anyway.. we also have a universal carrier that wrecks everything early game for no fuel cost .
Hence why they have the highest unit costs in the game and no dedicated indirect units save two doctrines

why doesnt CoH2 give u numbers? in CoH1 when ur riflemen got a BAR they went from 2 vs infantry to 2+2... you now know roughly how much power they've gained. in CoH2 i haven't got a fucking clue of the relative strength of different units. how does an infantry section compare to conscripts? or frontovki conscripts...?
i wish i could slap a few ppl at relic
edit: also, how the fuck can u afford to use med kits and get weapon upgrades for every squad? munitions and fuel are ludicrously low in CoH2
