That felt like a HLL match. Back and forth territory battles with just barely holding on at some points. Only issue is that CoH 2 and 3 still have those boxes where there should be other stuff, but that's relic for you. I need to go back and see if CoH 1 does that as well.
The trick when playing against the Expert AI (which I do a lot) is seeing the pattern. The Expert AI won't really focus on infantry and starts pumping out vehicles rather quickly (especially German and Soviet forces, US and Brits not as much). They will often have vehicles deployed before you do, so prepping that AT and taking that into account helps beating them. I usually go for an armoured rush (for I love tanks) and favor fuel as a resource. It is slow, but helps massively against the Expert AI. Love the vid! (Even if it is against the AI) I want mooooooreeee! ;)

Just remember Apollo the players in CoH2 are usually pretty good at taking out fixed positions I learned that one the hard way. But yeah I love your CoH2 videos!

I have been watching you for years, love your content however your kryptonite is finishing campaigns. Sucks when the game just messes up and then when you're close to doing some cool crazy stuff after being bombarded for over 10 episodes with attacks you move on. Best campaign was the Vikings one with JackEFish? Or LionHeart
no shame playing against expert AI. It certainly is challenging enough when you don't have anyone to play with on the multi-player or needed a game where you can jump in and jump out.

Brief breakdown… it’s a game where you are the king and make decisions for your kingdom with your decisions leading to your ending. Seeing as your are the best role play UA-camr on the platform you would make this story and game so amazing to watch. Please check it out and hopefully one day we’ll get a play through!
You're not playing the Western Front Germans, those are the OKW or the Oberkommando West, you're playing the Ostheer but the game just calls it "Wehrmacht" because you need a DLC for the Western Front. Also Grenadiers excel at long range combat while Soviet Conscripts and Penal battalions are much better at close range so try and keep your Grenadiers a distance away from the enemies infantry. Also try and get your units into cover, it makes a huge difference in combat
Honestly this is the game I enjoy the most on this channel. Although Apollo is not the best, it doesn't matter. His cinematic covereage of his battles. The drama in this commentary. It's fun to watch! ! 👍

Playing against AI is no detriment at all, see if Expert CPU ever makes any human mistakes like forgetting to micro or wasting mana

Coh 2 is WAAAY better than 3 however I couldn't get it worked properly on my windows 11
