BDO - New Trading Revamp TLDR + Step by Step
Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 лип 2024
- Not Covering: Imperials , Crates, Comparison to Other LS
Verdict: Long time to make money, but enjoyable enough as a casual lifeskill. I can see PA increasing item types per node Level for more "High Income" items.
The Idea: it is buy low of different stocks, wait for it to go high, sell when high

Big updates for trading on 4/12/23
if you play bdo and understand trading, you feel like you've graduated from university
🤣🤣
So far bro this has been the most comprehensive guide on trading I’ve seen so far. GJ
Pretty good guide, answered all the things I've been wondering. Thanks Ezo. 😎
I’ve been looking for a concise but well explained video on the trading revamp because there was too much info overload on the patch notes and it’s overwhelming to read. PA sucks at explaining. Thank you for this video.
Yes, that's what I needed, thank you!
Very helpful, this is my go to video to help others understand, thanks
Thanks for the comprehensive guide. I tried trading something on my season character. The only thing positive in this trade overhaul was the increase in price fish sell for, to offset the time needed to bring them to another region to sell them
Good video - well explained, thank you.
This was done well enough for me to know I would rather stab my scrotum with a fork than pursue trading in game. Thank you for your time and effort in saving many of us. 😎
🤣🤣
Nice vid, thanks alot!
Great guide. I still hate trading, though. I'm only doing it for the piece of image.
Thanks! Perfect money for a casual like me with two jobs lol
lol same
The trade manager dosent sell me anything like i cant buy his stuff why is that?
Might aswell do that irl and get rich since you need a degree to play this game
They want you to do both by giving you lots of afk time :D
Is the distance Bonus based on the 100% price or the current price?
Is the current sell of an item the same everywhere? This might make closer sales more time efficient.
I tried some 250% up items and they do make money and its based on current price. Although this is more effective riding a single horse than a wagon, which I see a couple of people do
@@ProfEzo this is great, because that means active trading of high price goods might be worth it.
the distance bonus is pathetic. Grain Bazar to Grana is like 6 percent and you still need to connect the nodes together. So the best thing is to just find the closest trade managers because yea the price is the same no matter where you go. the extra percent(s) is not worth the extra wagon time.
Who ever thought that irl stocks is a fun game mechanic
Multiple entire mmos.
What is the effect of life mastery on trade?
what is the best way to get the trading lvl up? do we know that yet? very good video tho
Make crates even low tier crates like ore crates then trade it far away or make Imperial Cook boxes in Valencia and transport it to the place where you want to sell it and it also gives a bit of Trade EXP.
Now you can't even buy low percent items with the new patch because they get removed from the game for 7 real days. PA does some silly things.
I actually want to try new Trade, but damn it does take a long time, and since I already Guru50 on Barter it already takes too much time of my daily plays.
Yeah even with forest wagon still time consuming, but a few people enjoy the rumor mechanic. But yeah its something you do if you really want to do it
great guide thanks! Seems like not my thing, but also the CP investment is too much anyway :/
I think it still needs rework sub cities should be connected automatically in major cities in which region they are on the only time you need to connect nodes when connecting major cities to another major city instead of investing energy it should just be reputation or amity or regularity of the trade activity there is a lot of cp wasted and a lot of time preparation
I agree
how can I get order contract I'm just about to get started
is the price of goods same throughout different cities or do we have to check every cities prices?
I made a sample where Heidel and Altinova had the same buy % iand locked 3 hours once you load on your wagon from what I tested so far. Basically, price at sub-city is the deciding price, and the sell price is that + distance bonus on the main city you decided to sell it to.
@@ProfEzo what about trading crates, is it better to manufacture let say bronze crates etc over selling those in CM?
What happened to trading crates btw? I have thousands of Calpheon Crate boxes and I’m not sure what to do about it.
Have not tried crates yet, but you can sell them at main/capital cities. Though on patch notes it does say they removed the "Token of Desert Trading" from Ibellab Oasis and Pilgrim's Sanctum: Sharing:" but adjusted in price
when I purchase the items they dont show in my mount inventory, only on contract order, how do i put it in my inventory to actually take it and trade it??
Hey Alex, you have to be on your mount/wagon and then right click from that inventory. It will then prompt it to be placed in your mount's/wagon inventory
@@ProfEzo got it, i was tripping because last time i pñayed this wasnt like that lol
But, hows the xp, its an important factor.
TLDR Question lol : So is it worth doing? XD
why the (buy) option dosn't appear to me when i go to the trader manager ? im new in bdo
The only one that sell goods are the cities outside the Main ones. Like example, Heidi you can sell goods, but can only buy at Alejandro Farm, Glish, and E. Gateway.
I'm currently experiencing this issue as well. I've gone to every one of the specific trade managers and none of them give me a buy option. Starting to think my game is bugged. Is there a quest or something that needs to be finished first before that option appears? @@ProfEzo
can we predict the next the goods price after 4 hrs
?
In the patch it kinda says you can by going town to town and listening to the citizens. But I tried that and most of the time it doesn't happen. Also they stated citizens "may sometimes not speak of any rumors" so by far not accurate.
I don't even know where to get the wine for the first trading quest. Good grief. No info anywhere that I can find. This game buries you in confusion and junk just to fill your inventories and force you to buy more space. I have so much junk and I have no idea what 90% is for.
That’s just Asian MMOs. But I’ll definitely take info overload and buttloads of stuff and activities rather than a simplistic mmo like Neverwinter
@@RadDEATHTRAP Getting more into the swing of things now. The new horse will help.
@@vinniethefinger7781 how did you figure it out? I still can’t find the wine. I searched luxury goods and food and couldn’t find it myself. I even searched every NPC in Velia
@@RadDEATHTRAP I think you have to buy it from a farm then bring it to town and sell it to him. I can't remember which farm. See which one sells wine. There should be a trade node.
I am losing my mind... I just want a fucking tradepack so I can raise my strenght without doing the questline of eternal winter 5 time. I cannot buy anything from anyone...
I went to Moretti Plantation, Eastern gateway and costa farm. Lined those node to heidel and still cannot buy anything from the trades managers or node managers. They only watn to buy things from me and not sell.
Ok trading not for me 😂 my brain gave up just watching for 5 mins
whenever people say toon instead of char faith in humanity is lost
Char is really only used on really really old RPGs like EQ and games like Diablo. Pretty much everywhere else is called toon
To quickly summarize, It's all screwed up and do something else with your time as the reward / effort is zero.
Nice system but a waste of time, its a bloody game...
