Planted clover plus chickory with forage oats and rye the first weekend of august. Spread the rye and oats rototilled and dragged smooth. Then sread clover seed and lawn rolled plot. Had timely rain and by middle of September my oats had seed heads on them. Thankfully i saved some seed to layer some more in. Great products looking to get many years of use from clover.

All my HD screen and Sweet feast and forage radishes did wonderful and the deer are destroying it! I will be buying more from you this year! Thanks for all the help with advice on planting!

I never have a problem growing beautiful lush food plots. The problem i do have is getting the deer to eat it. I finally found out that if i wait until early october to plant cereal rye the deer will actually eat it. In the past I always planted cereals in late August early September and it grew to tall and the deer didn't touch it. Winter peas go largely untouched. August planted sunflowers are all gone within a month after planting. Absolute best fall attraction I have ever seen in 20 years of food plotting. The radish tops and chicory get hammered in october. Radish and turnip bulbs for some reason go largely untouched until early February.

Your clover-chicory blend in north central PA is grazed down, but still green. Will continue to use in my plots. Great seed mix.

My Northwoods Whitetail plots look great in North central WI as of 11/22. Clover kill plots lush (in some pretty bad soil)

I have brassica rye wheat clove tillage radishes clover chicory mix big bulbs deer haven't touched the brassicas they pass threw late at night😊

  • @Mark-oq5pf

Thanks! I have a 2 strip in my plot of your sweet feast brassicas along with fall forage blend and seclusion 360 with a few radishes in my woods kill plots. They all look great. The seclusion was hit hard by deer in sept ,early oct. The fall forage blend is being hit now and the brassicas will be hit in dec/jan. They all grew great and exceeded my expectations! The only thing that didn't grow was the HD screen so I'll try that again next year.

Hi there you guys do an amazing job of educating us all on food plotting I’m located in upstate ny and was wondering if it s to late in your option to drill winter rye my plots were amazing so I didn’t dare to drill it in earlier the deer have them eaten down pretty hard now and was wondering if it was to late thanks again for being real

  • @stevenjanssen4740

Nov.15 and my plots are chewed to the dirt. The deer have left town.

  • @jakegeissler2228

Great video, thank you for the education!

  • @regduchesne6494

Love the 3 strip idea. I was wondering if you ship your seed mix into Ontario, Canada.

No rain really hurt getting much growth but clover/chicory is really green now. Does it keep growing when significantly above freezing? Hard to tell..lots of mouths I think. Some are rabbits. :)
