Looking great! I really like the dark stain. I am currently working on my leather shop work bench. I repurposed an old 1950's large metal drafting table paired with a new butchers block countertop. I think a dark stain will really help the wood pop. Great video!

Thanks so much! I used Minwax Pre-Stain wood conditioner first and then Minwax Polyshades Satin Mission Oak stain. Your work bench sounds like it will look great once you get it finished!

Thanks! I do not recall...it was a free-to-use song that I had access to thru my editing software.

Just checked out your links for the casters and work bench brackets. Looks pretty good, its been a month now how do you like the setup? Would you change anything

Thank you for your question! I am pleased with the set up as is, and I would not change a single thing. The bench and shelf kit worked perfectly with my wood working skill level, and as of right now there is no bending of any of the shelves. Also, the modifications that I made to add the casters is working perfectly as well.

I built my table in its entirety for less than the price of the leg hardware you’ve got. Pretty pricey for plastic and you still need to buy the wood and finish. The plastic doesn’t really fit the crafters vibe either but that’s just an opinion.

I have almost zero experience with woodworking so buying the plastic kit that only required straight cuts was the right fit for my limited skillset. Thanks for watching and commenting!
