Thank you for taking the time to show your shop. It has been my experience that it is easy to find large shop walkthroughs but rare to see a small shop tour. The thought and organization you put into this space is very apparent. I have had both small and medium sized spaces to work, I am back to a small shop (had another job transfer). I have been struggling with the dimensions of a work bench that cannot be permanently installed. Your bench and under storage dimensions just may be the solution I have been trying to work out. I am also struggling with dust removal from sanding, I may just have to do that in a different space for the moment. I like that your burnishing machine is mounted sideways, I need to try that space saving idea. Thanks again for the tour!
Long magnet bars make for good, versatile, wall holders for hand tools. You don't have to make a new holder if you add a tool or change its location. Your leather loft is a nice touch.
Nice shop. I envy your ability to focus on a set amount of products. I have a core business but am constantly experimenting with new leathers and products. So my shop has about a million more pieces of leather and HW than I need for my everyday use. It makes organizing it a lot harder.
You could keep your staple hardware & leather inexpensive one place. Then, create an experimental area for other hardware & leathers. There's no reason to mix them until an item becomes a keeper. I keep clear project boxes for this (clear storage boxes).
THANK YOU!!1 you just helped me to lay out my work area,, It's a spare bedroom converted into my office/work area.. I've been trying to figure out the best hight and depth for a bench, and I just found it.
So wonderful, refreshing and inspiring to see your workspace, how you have things arranged and the thought you have put into planning and organizing your space. Loved the superb quality of your video and learning a little more about you and your craft. Thank you for adding some inspiration to my day!
I love your shop! You've inspired me to organize mine which it desperately needs. Well done video. First time I've run across you, (new sub). Good luck ahead.
Wow! What an amazingly clean and organized shop! I am looking for ideas to get mine organized. Also, do you use software for making patterns? I have Found Leathercraft CAD on UA-cam but cannot seem to get it downloaded anywhere!! Very frustrated.
Hi Ron. I found the download for that Leathercraft CAD. I can't paste links, but the creator is LuthierTN and on his Buymeacoffee page, he's a got a link to the download page. Hope this helps. Or who knows, maybe you found it by now.
Thanks for subscribing! Our products are available at www.soulcraftgoods.com 🎉 we ship internationally 🎉 cheers!

I agree! We have used wall control magnets in the past, and for us there is something special about every tool having their own place to rest.

Very cool and cozy space
Thank you! I think so too.
Badass workshop buddy!
Thanks brother!
Well-done! 👏
Love the shop! Super clean! I’m particularly intrigued by your tool holders, looks like you 3D printed some of them?
I hand traced the tools and cut them out with a scroll saw. Thanks for noticing!
What a nice workshop - Thank you so much for showing 🙏🏼😍
Where did you got the drawer furniture from? 🤗
Thank you! The rolling tool box is Christmas dent-n-scratch from harbor freight. Good stuff.

Thank you for the compliments! I wish I was more gifted in CAD. I just do old fashioned pattern making on paper with lots of trial and error.
