Nicole Kidman is the first Australian to be honoured with the Life Achievement Award from the AFI

The American Film Institute bestowed its 49th Life Achievement Award on Nicole Kidman, who at 56 becomes one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious honour.

I think it's great that Nic shreds her project scripts on project completion is a "a clear the decks and move forward" attitude I like it because the past is done, can't be changed, and next is the future!
