2025 - I watched it on cable when I was younger. It became a family tradition to watch both on Christmas day in my teens. Honestly, want to film my own reaction video to tell how these movies influenced my family.

The movie typifies righteousness and moral directives that subtly enwraps the movie. No matter how hard something is or fought against, right is right and must be defended. As a strong athletic kid in school, I always felt that I could never be wrong by defending a smaller kid being picked on, or freeing an animal stuck in a barbed wire fence. That's the closest thing I can think of towards how this movie makes you feel. I'll never forget a good friend from Bible Study was also named Jim Craig, and he was/is a very good man.

I learned to play Jessica’s Theme at 3 different levels because I loved it that much. I share it with my piano students to this day.

Sigrid still so lovely. Still a lovely couple. Thank you for the memories. I loved both movies.

I have had a couple of VHS, a couple DVD’s, bought the soundtrack on vinyl, then tape and then CD. I always thought that if I won the lottery I would commission my hometown symphony to play this for me at a private screening. This movie is perfection.

………had been a horse rider for 14 years’ by the time this film was released. Absolutely adored it, just bc it had beautiful HORSES’ in it! Met Tom Burlinson after a stage show he was in, & had a good yak with him. Nice bloke!

Tom and Sigrid still look great! One of my two favorite “Westerns”! Oddly enough, the other is Quigley Down Under. Both set in Australia. “Jessica’s Theme” was played live at our wedding by a friend. It brings tears for me too.

My all time favorite movie. I was a young kid when I saw it for the first time, on video, a few years after it came out probably. My family watched it so many times we could all quote the entire thing. The Return as well. I absolutely ahd to have a buckskin horse, which I called Denny, even though she was a mare. Jim was my first crush! I'm happy to see these two back together for this. However, how amazing would it be to have a third installment!? Sigrid looks amazing <3

This was my absolute favorite movie from my childhood! I watched it countless times and I have no doubt this movie inspired me to start riding lessons as a child which evolved to competitive horse showing. I found my love for horses because of this beautiful film! So cool to see the cast and clips all these years later!

This is my favorite movie.

I'm 66 years. I remember when the movie came out I used to rent it every chance I got and watched it with my girls, who were quite young at the time It's still one of my favorite movies, and the soundtrack is amazing.

I loved this movie when it came out. I introduced that gorgeous piano composition to my young piano student - a fifth grader - who played it in a competition and won the top prize. It’s such an impressive piece.

I am 77, and this movie is one of my all time favorites.

Worth a trip to Australia.
