    Awesome trip. We did Argentia to Port Au Basque September 3rd to the 10th. I got some video's up, but not all yet.

      A couple days were long however we stopped quite often to take a break. It did feel good to get back home to our own bed. I would do it again but would want to try different trails. Take care of your hand.

    Haha why do you hate bridges? Awesome footage. We are doing pretty much the same trip beginning on June 29th. Can't wait!

    Great video, just curious where was the National Geographic ship docked. We’ve crossed NL from PauxB to Arnold’s Cove on the Avalon Peninsula 2x, once staying in tents and then in cabins!

      We stopped at the east side of Old Man's Pond and a local in a cottage there told us we had to see Goose Arm so he took us on a tour over to Goose Arm and that is where the National Geographic was anchored. Beautiful spot.

      @@Halscamp Great, thanks for your reply. We took our CanAm Defender up to Goose Arm from Hughes Brook and went along the West Side of Old Mans Pond as far as the river that flows into Goose Arm, the bridge was washed out. On the way back we went out to the cottages. It’s definitely a great spot.

    @halscamp awesome video. I’ve done the trip right from Argentia to Port Aux Basques back in 2017.
    My father is going out again in august. Any chance you could share your route from stephensville to Buchan and where you stayed in buchan? He’s currently planning to go up to gaf top sail and back but likes the loop you’ve made more.

    • @Halscamp
      @Halscamp  8 місяців тому

      Sorry, I do not but I will check with another rider to see if he has the times.

      We started each day between 8 -9 o'clock. it took 8hr 16min to go from Stevensville to Buchans averaging 34 km p/h with only 3 stops along the way that day over the 176 km day

    How much did you have to do on pavement from Stephenville going towards Buchans

      We did around 15 minutes on the TCH and about 45 minutes on a secondary road. Not much traffic on the TCH but we hauled over to far right of shoulder and stopped when we saw traffic coming behind us.
