Hey, I see you have some of the most beautiful footage of Newfoundland on youtube. Is it possible to use some of it for a short documentary on the island?
If there were European fishermen in Newfoundland well established in 1497, then that implies they were there way before Columbus "discovered" the New World. It makes sense though, I'm absolutely certain that Europeans were visiting N. America for a long time before Columbus. Vikings for sure, but many others also. Basques, Irish, Portuguese fishermen, all likely candidates. The official story that Columbus and co. did not know about North America and thought they landed in the East Indies I'm sure is b.s. Columbus was part of a secret society, Knights of Christ or something like that, hence the red crosses on the sails. The knowledge of N. America had been circulating around these organizations for a long time, probably going back to the Knights Templars.
Beautiful and well done! Thanks for sharing
