I sure appreciate those two American visitors who spoke so beautifully about NFLD you two people are awesome The NFLD people love you guys
44 minute video from Adam and Kathryn?! YESSS!!! 🥳 That part about emotionally preparing for losing out on a closed restaurant- I feel that on a very personal level lmao. It does indeed require some time and space to properly grieve. 😂The mummer tradition is absolutely hilarious. If that was a thing in our neighborhood, Chad and I would be all over it hahaha. I LOVE seeing you both delight in a "pinkies-up" tea room hahaha. Adam is just too cute with his little tea cup! 😁 Also, who got the shots of the puffins flying with fish in their mouths?! Like, those shots are absolutely crazy- and so smooth!!! And Kathryn- puff-date??? Lmao that's too good. 🤣🤣🤣
haha it's such a bummer when you're excited for a spot and it's closed! But we totally understand. Everyone needs their time to recharge! The mummers is such a fun tradition! We would have loved to see that in action! Kathryn is a pro at getting the wildlife shots! Thanks y'all for watching! ❤
Wow. Your videos are amazing. I live in Canada, and it's the first time I see travel vloggers really traveling through Canada. Kisses to your dog! He is so cute❤
I'm from Newfoundland and I have so loved watching your series!! You've definitely done the province justice with your epic road trip :) and it looks like the "whales" you saw might have been tuna! So cool!
I am probably repeating myself like you guys 😂but YOU are such inspiration with those professional films , narratives, enthusiasm and the best personality. You should be motivational speakers for young , married couple - what an example you two are to the world…. BRAVO!
Wow what a beautiful video of a completely gorgeous place! Loved the puffins, drone shots, seeing Kona roll around behind you guys 😂, the root cellars, coastal towns , the rainbow…I could keep going on and on…
These certainly have been some great videos! Being from Ireland, I thought you might be interested in hearing about an announcement just made today by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the City of St. John's, and Canadian airline WestJet. Beginning on May 5th and continuing until October 24, 2024, WestJet will be offering non-stop flights between St. John's (YYT) and London Gatwick (LGW) three times a week! This is the first time we've been able to get direct flights to/from Europe since 2019, so we're thrilled to spread the word! Perhaps you might be interested in coming to visit our province, especially the little town of Tilting on Fogo Island, which is shown in this video! It's known as the most Irish place in the world outside of Ireland, and has signs printed in the Irish language. So cool!
Thanks again for re-activating our memories of our own adventures to those locations in 2021 and 2022. I think that you benefited from touring around after the peak of tourist season. No line-ups for restaurants, easy to get on the ferry to Fogo Island (we waited more than two hours in both directions), hiking trails and views to yourselves, Newfoundland towns that look way more quaint without lots of us tourists and no competition for boondocking spots.
We visited Newfoundland two years ago in September and your video brings back so many wonderful memories for us too! We did the same coastal hike in Twillingate and were amazed by the scenery. We also did the Skerwink Trail near Trinity, and it was slightly foggy in the morning when we started, and once we got on top, the fog lifted, the sun came out and we were totally blown away by the views. Even in the light morning mist, it’s beautiful. Also, as two fairly fit seniors, the Skerwink Trail was not easy, and quite challenging in some areas, but totally worth the effort! I’m so glad that you are making the most of Newfoundland. And I know you’ll have a lot of fun in St. John’s. Do stop by the Shamrock City Pub for some great live Irish music!
I really appreciate how you share your experiences with all of us and how you express your love for nature..which is ALL God’s blessings for us to enjoy. May God bless you and keep you safe in your adventures!
Waw waw waw! This videos are such a big revelation. Almost nobody here in Europe knows about this places. But they look amazing! Now on my bucket list. Will check prices of plane tickets, rental cars and accomodations, probably they will blow me away, but people can dream. And your vlogs are so good. By far best travel vlogers.
@@AdventuresofAplusK I watch all your videos, you are best travel vlogers! Mine are not so good, but you are still welcome to check them out. And maybe you will wanna come back to Europe again.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I have been binge watching for the whole day. I live in the Terranova area in a place called Glovertown. Bears are not rare here at all in fact any day here in the past two weeks you can find a bear or two in your driveway or backyard. The reason they are so plentiful this year is because the blueberries were very small so they come to town to get the apples off the trees. I’m really enjoying your videos and starting to appreciate the land I called home. Thank you for these videos.
I'm in the middle of watching the video now on the tv but had to pause to come here and leave a comment. The two animals in the water you thought might be whales, they looked like Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins to me. I saw someone else posted the possibility of tuna. Definitely not whales, but there are a few other possibilities, and still very cool to see. I'm really enjoying your series and am going to get back to the video now. Thanks, and cheers from Maine. :) Paula
Must say you guys take top tier drone photography . Amazing hikes and views had no idea NFLD looked like this!! The little restaurants look really nice especially The Two Whales coffee shop. Quality content 🤙
LOVE the AMAZING drone footage! Wow! and OMIGOSH! - the Cod and chips! and the ICE CREAM! Love your photography! Spider web. : ) PUFFINS! Breathtaking scenery! What a wonderful video! Bless you on your way. ❤
YOu did it again! Your videography is soo awesome .. and the coastal road trip so far is fabulous ... I am so loving your journey in the east coast of Canada so far :)
I can see why you’ve partnered with tourism boards in the past. You’re able to draw in an audience with your unbridled enthusiasm, brilliant story telling and excellent videography. My travel bucket list grows every time you highlight an area. This series on Newfoundland is phenomenal!
My parents are from Newfoundland and Labrador. They moved to Ontario in 79’. I had visited a few times during my childhood and I’m itching to get back for a visit now that I’m well into adulthood. This video helped solidify my desire to return. Thank you
Thank you so much for the honor of going with you on these adventures. I love how you get to actually enjoy eating anything you want, because you work it all off on your awesome hikes.
Being a Newfoundland resident I want to thank you for visiting and appreciating a fraction of what the island portion has to offer. You’re a fun loving couple.
You guys do a fantastic job of showcasing this unique area! Your professionalism shines thru every video. I've been soaking these up for the past two weeks. Looking forward to seeing the Avalon video soon. BTW i think what you seen in the water may have been a Tuna. I had an upclose encounter with one while paddle boarding in Gros Morne and the tail fin looked very similar. Great work!
A wonderful choice, and a fantastic time to do it! I've lived here in Newfoundland my whole life (60+ years) and am still gobsmacked by the sight of icebergs pretty much every spring, as well as the arrival of thousands of humpback whales and puffins returning to our coves and bays! Truly, a fantastic experience!
Loved this video. I'm Canadian, living in BC, and am planning a trip across to Newfoundland and back in 2025. This made me even more excited. I'm an artist, so Fogo Island is definitely on my list. Thanks for the inspiration.
THANK YOU for this 44 minute Sunday treat!! Another beauty, for sure! And, so stoked you got to see puffins!!! I was in Iceland the first week of May and they hadn't arrived yet, so their tardiness this year allowed for some of the stragglers you got to enjoy! Thanks again for such a lovely trip with you!
You are making this area look incredibly beautiful! I can’t wait to go there in my van! You are so lucky that you’re evenly matched in that you both enjoy small towns, and hiking to Seaview’s. The food there looks incredible!
I agree! These are great videos! But as a resident of Newfoundland, I must make a slight correction: they're not making the place look fantastic; the place simply is fantastic, with no extra effort required to make it look this way! 😉😄 Just teasing! I do hope you have an opportunity to come experience it for yourself! 😊
So love Newfoundland! I have been wanting to watch this and finally did and I am so blown away by the beauty of this place! The water is so breathtaking and the hues of blue like the Caribbean❤ Loved the fluffy sheep . So adorable. This whole series has been just top notch. Eagerly waiting for your next adventure:)
Really cool, guys. You both always do a great job of reviewing the local restaurants. Thanks for checking out this beautiful area that is often overlooked by travelers from the USA.
Hi guys! What a beautiful trip you took in 2023! We followed most of what you did in Alaska last summer…(we came back just 3 weeks ago) and will be undertaking the same trip you are doing now next summer (2024). I guess the love of the outdoors and the ocean is strong! We can’t wait to see the icebergs and NFL. Most people don’t know you can drive to both extremes of the American continent…but you sure showed it very well! Thank you! Remi (Quebec, 🇨🇦)
You guys are so much fun to travel around with. Thanks for sharing all the adventures and beauty of Newfoundland. Perhaps there may be a trip in the future for us following the blueberries beginning in late July in Acadia and heading north. So nice to see that Kona got to participate in so many hikes too. Blessings and much appreciation for all your amazing work.
Your footage of the puffins was phenomenal - I've always struggled to get good shots of those guys as they're so small, but getting the shots with the fish in their beaks was amazing!
Love your trip to Newfoundland, the scenery is amazing. Would love to make it there someday, I did make it as far as Fundy once. I was on a church-remodeling trip in Manitoba years ago and met a man from Newfoundland, taught me the term Newfy lol. He was a great guy, worked with him on two different trips, great memories. I am a big fan of your travels, I watch every episode.
Loved your Newfoundland videos. I'm from Newfoundland, and you open my eyes to how beautiful our island is.Loved your enthusiasm and how you embraced our province.
Hey guys, the instrument that you said was an accordion, when there's buttons instead of keys (like a piano), it's actually called a concertina, also nicknamed a button box.
@@tracygill9868 you may be right. It's at a distance, but because it was smaller looking, I thought it to be a concertina. That said, when I did an image search of "concertina versus accordion," it seems that the words are interchangeable, for example, a bandoneon is also called a tango accordion, but it looks like a couple of the instruments labeled as concertinas. I was in an eastern European dance group and the button box style was called a concertina, hence my post. 😊 But thank you for responding.
Absolutely loved your videos of my home. 3 weeks away from my yearly 5 week trip back ! Chronically homesick Newfie . Thanks for the tears of joy you've provided
Thanks for creating a well produced, respectful tour video of Newfoundland. Too many UA-camrs resort to cliches and the differences rather than embracing the local such as you did. I’ve worked in the video industry for all of my career and many tour videos don’t hold my interest due to poor production, but yours held me to the end.
These 7 videos of Newfoundland are probably the BEST tourist videos I have seen yet of our beautiful province. To see you visit my hometown of Tickle Cove and see the amazing sea arch is awesome. I hope you guys visit again to see the icebergs and whales that you missed out on.
Yes, many Canadians tour Canada, and NFLD is a prime destination. However, it's basically unknow, and certainly under-appreciated as a great destination by many Americans. So your vid is a good promotion, and is greatly appreciated. Like the US, our Country is HUGE, and few Canadians get to see much of it simply because there's so much to see and it's spread far and wide, with many destinations a challenge to get to in both costs and travel options. Many great regions in the north are only accessible by air, so many of us don't get to learn a lot unless it's from a travel documentary like yours. After Labour Day the crowds subside, as you've likely noticed. More than just scenery, the people, history, geography, geology are also fascinating to research. I try to do as much research into all these topics before I travel anywhere, as this provides a better appreciation of the character of the area when I arrive. I see you didn't mention Gros Morne National Park. My understanding is the scenery there is very spectacular. Did you miss it or is it in a separate vid?
Love your videos! I discovered your channel a few months ago when I started watching UA-cam videos of places I'd like to visit and you've become a favorite (instead of watching TV shows). And I think the editing, footage and yourselves are all a part of what makes it great! Thank you!
Was thrilled when I saw how long this Vlog was!!🎉Plus rocky and coastal and puffins…can it get any better than that!! We had the pleasure of spending time with a bunch of puffins on the Isle of Staffa in Scotland. One of my favorite travel memories!❤
Again, thanks for capturing the beautiful landscape and communities that are NFLD. As viewers we have enjoyed watching your excitement and awe as you travel through our Atlantic provinces. Can't wait to see your shots of Nova Scotia where my dad and his side of the family are from.
I just recently watched an old vlog of yours from 4 years ago when you were in Scottsdale. You guys are so much more polished, now! Adam, especially did not seem to be too much into it. You two have become so professional. and comfortable with what you do. I love all your videos. It is fun to see all the beautiful places you travel to.
I love randomly finding videos like this in my recommended feed, and I must admit I get frustrated with myself...I have lived here in Newfoundland for 47 years and you two have been to places I haven't even been and I live here! haha great video, thank you for sharing visiting our little island
I'm from Newfoundland and have visited many of the places you have in the video. But your enthusiasm and excitement in the video just makes it all seem new and exciting to me. Going to have to revisit some of these places this summer. Fantastic video. Love it.
A+K(+K) ❤ I've followed your adventures for years now (ever since the Delta Lake, Teton hike to be precise 😁) and loved every one of them. My husband and I have covered some of the hikes you've done and all of these are inspired by you!! Your videography and editing skills are 'Nat Geo' level. If any place needs to be showcased to the world, you both can truly capture the soul and beauty of it. Enjoy your travels 😊😊
Wow you guys.... Just Wow! What an amazing trip!! I absolutely love you two and your energy! Thanks for taking me (and all of us) along for what was quite possibly one of your finest videos!! Can't wait to start traveling like y'all! Take care and happy trails! 🥰💕❤️
What a fun video. The scenery is spectacular, love all of the aerial views. Love all of your foodie comments, fish & ice cream look so good. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures in gorgeous Newfoundland. Safe travels ❤
That was spectacular scenery! Thanks for sharing Newfoundland with us; I would have never thought it was so pretty and interesting, etc.! I want to go and do the ferry’s that you did. Glad you got some down time, too.
Simply spectacular in every sense! I like your film clarity, your monologue, your research, your delicious appetites, K's laughter, A's wonderment and so much more! Keep the excellent, creative travel events coming! Blessings over you both!
Loved your Newfoundland series - I’m from the Bonavista Peninsula, and watching you experience the hiking, culture and food through your eyes was really great. So glad you enjoyed your time here! ❤ Now to catch up on all your other adventures! Happy travels!
Dude, those drone shots...just wow. Well done. I love that little town of Trinity. This whole area is so unknown to me. It's really cool seeing it in such great detail through ya'll lenses. Truly amazing landscapes, and of course, ya'll always find the most cozy, amazing coffee shops and restaurants. And those boondocking spots are insane!
I just recently started watching your videos within the last week or so. I have to say that this one has to be one of my favorites from your adventures across Newfoundland, because it featured my hometown of Twillingate. Glad to see you both really enjoyed your stay there, sorry you didn't get to see any icebergs unfortunately ( this year was one of the best summers for them ). The best time for icebergs are anywhere from mid May until about the end of July.
We were bummed to miss the icebergs, but we knew we'd miss them. We timed our visit with better hiking weather in mind. We had such a great time all over the province and especially in Twillingate! We can't wait to come back! Thank you and thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I lived all over the US for 12yrs but never got to your state. I am so happy you had a great time. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Canada's NWT ( you need to visit here to see the Northern Lights)

Most people don’t know you can drive to both extremes of the American continent…but you sure showed it very well! Thank you! Remi (Quebec, 🇨🇦)
We had such an awesome time out there! The culture, scenery, food, and people are all top notch!
We hope you had a fantastic time in Alaska!
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who has spend so much time in Newfoundland that didn’t live there! A great trip!
We had a great trip! Can’t wait to come back!
Thank you! ❤
Your footage of the puffins was phenomenal - I've always struggled to get good shots of those guys as they're so small, but getting the shots with the fish in their beaks was amazing!
We took out big boy zoom lens out there and got lucky to get decent shots through all the fog! They were so fun to watch!
Awesome video safe travels!!!!
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching!
You really scored with those awesome boondocking campsites.
Newfoundland has some of the best boondocking we've ever seen!
Hey guys, the instrument that you said was an accordion, when there's buttons instead of keys (like a piano), it's actually called a concertina, also nicknamed a button box.
There's a button accordion and a piano accordion.
This was a button accordion, it's a bit different than a concertina 😊😊
@@tracygill9868 you may be right. It's at a distance, but because it was smaller looking, I thought it to be a concertina. That said, when I did an image search of "concertina versus accordion," it seems that the words are interchangeable, for example, a bandoneon is also called a tango accordion, but it looks like a couple of the instruments labeled as concertinas. I was in an eastern European dance group and the button box style was called a concertina, hence my post. 😊 But thank you for responding.
Hello Adventurers, I am amazed with this outstanding scenery! Hey....your not sharing this fish & Chips...that's not fair😎. What a beautiful place.
So much delicious food and ridiculous scenery!
Absolutely loved your videos of my home. 3 weeks away from my yearly 5 week trip back ! Chronically homesick Newfie . Thanks for the tears of joy you've provided
Yearly trip! We're jealous! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Wow! That means a lot to us! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Glad your enjoying our beautiful provience. The scenery and food is spectacular.
These 7 videos of Newfoundland are probably the BEST tourist videos I have seen yet of our beautiful province. To see you visit my hometown of Tickle Cove and see the amazing sea arch is awesome. I hope you guys visit again to see the icebergs and whales that you missed out on.
Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back one day!
Awesome video!!!
Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
This whole Newfoundland trip has been one of your best. Had no idea such amazing beauty and quaint villages. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
What a amazing place
Was thrilled when I saw how long this Vlog was!!🎉Plus rocky and coastal and puffins…can it get any better than that!! We had the pleasure of spending time with a bunch of puffins on the Isle of Staffa in Scotland. One of my favorite travel memories!❤
Puffins are so dang cool!
WOW! So impressive. Gotta ❤️ the drone footage. Great job. Thank you so much for showcasing Canada's youngest Province. 👏 👏
Thank you!
Again, thanks for capturing the beautiful landscape and communities that are NFLD. As viewers we have enjoyed watching your excitement and awe as you travel through our Atlantic provinces. Can't wait to see your shots of Nova Scotia where my dad and his side of the family are from.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you and thanks for watching! We’re excited to share NS!
OMG! What a fantastic ride and adventure! So Very informative and fun! Spectacular photography! Always look forward to the next video! Thanks!
Stunning scenery, wild landscapes so rugged, much enjoyed, thank you....
Haha yeah and to imagine the idea of starting a UA-cam channel back then was my (Adam) idea!
I’m glad to know we have improved! Thank you!
10 👍🏻’s up! What a beautiful piece of Canada! Thx for taking us along!
Thank you!
This was simply fabulous I know you put in a lot of work. Cute fun couple prefect for UA-cam. Bless you both. Just subscribed. Peace.
Thank you! ❤
Ice Cream again!! Yum and all the food. The Drone footage really makes you videos come alive…such great scenery..Have Fun!!
Thank you!
Thanks so much for letting me enjoy all this from the comfort of my home.
I'm confident Kona also finds when you are just resting in the van to be some of the best time too! Pups like their comfort!
That is 100% correct! She loves hanging out in the van!
Another beautiful video. You are both very inspirational! Thanks so much Kathryn and Adam 😊
Thank you! ❤️
I love randomly finding videos like this in my recommended feed, and I must admit I get frustrated with myself...I have lived here in Newfoundland for 47 years and you two have been to places I haven't even been and I live here! haha great video, thank you for sharing visiting our little island
Ya gotta get out there and see this stuff!
I'm from Newfoundland and have visited many of the places you have in the video. But your enthusiasm and excitement in the video just makes it all seem new and exciting to me. Going to have to revisit some of these places this summer. Fantastic video. Love it.
Thanks and thanks for watching! ❤️
Thank you for watching for so long! That means a lot to us!
Thank you! ❤
Wow, it is so big....I had no idea!
It’s way bigger than what was shown. 🙂
I’m watching your video. I have done this many times but now I’m too old. Thank you for bringing it all back.
Thank you for taking us on your many adventures. What life should be❣️
Wow you guys.... Just Wow! What an amazing trip!! I absolutely love you two and your energy! Thanks for taking me (and all of us) along for what was quite possibly one of your finest videos!! Can't wait to start traveling like y'all! Take care and happy trails! 🥰💕❤️
Thank you! ❤️
Spectacular vlog! AND Puffins….omg! What a treat to watch as always ❤. Thank you both for the work it takes to produce your amazing videos!
Thank you! ❤️❤️
This was great! I especially loved seeing the puffins. 😍

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! This is absolutely beautiful! 😍 I loved every minute & the bloopers at the end! 😂💖
Thank you so much!!
That was spectacular scenery! Thanks for sharing Newfoundland with us; I would have never thought it was so pretty and interesting, etc.! I want to go and do the ferry’s that you did. Glad you got some down time, too.
Thank you! ❤️
Simply spectacular in every sense! I like your film clarity, your monologue, your research, your delicious appetites, K's laughter, A's wonderment and so much more! Keep the excellent, creative travel events coming! Blessings over you both!
Thank you! That means a lot to us! ❤️
Loved your Newfoundland series - I’m from the Bonavista Peninsula, and watching you experience the hiking, culture and food through your eyes was really great. So glad you enjoyed your time here! ❤ Now to catch up on all your other adventures! Happy travels!
We had such a wonderful time! That means a lot coming from a local. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Newfoundland has some of the best boondocking we've ever seen! It's hard to mess up the drone shots with scenery like that!
Just found your channel and love the content. Truly inspiring
Thank you and thanks for watching!
This is also my hometown.....lol
We were bummed to miss the icebergs, but we knew we'd miss them. We timed our visit with better hiking weather in mind. We had such a great time all over the province and especially in Twillingate! We can't wait to come back! Thank you and thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I lived all over the US for 12yrs but never got to your state. I am so happy you had a great time. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Canada's NWT ( you need to visit here to see the Northern Lights)
