I have a 2012 Mini Countryman and I used the instruction here. everything worked without a flaw!! I added a K&G permanent filter #33-2936 and it was $60 on eBay!!

I don't think the previous two owners of my cooper s has ever changed the air filter because the engine is getting very hot on short journeys recently. A filter check is definitely on the cards!

Check your coolant level when the engine is cold.

Muito bem explicado e muito util, contudo ao fazer no meu R57, e depois de desapertar os 3 parafusos a ficha do ar e a anilha de metal, a parte direita não saiiã, e para nao partir, não forcei nada e não consegui tirar o fltro do ar......... preferi ficar por aqui.... ate saber o que esta a fazer com que a peça não saia.... obrigado pelo video

Hey there,
I'm having trouble with the back of the housing. The front is all freed up via instruction of your video (thank you very much) but it's definitely all snagged up in the back and I don't want to break it by being too ignorant about it. It's looking like there are three snaps in the back- but I can't see back there and don't know what I'm up against. Any suggestions?

you have probably figured out that there are several types of air filters - engine, cabin, fuel line, air condition and they are in different places depending on the year and model .
