Love the way you describe it. I own it for many years and never gave it much attention. I wear it tonight, because it caught my eyes, and could not make up my mind ... AGAIN... if I like it. But I will pay attention to how it develops on my skin tonight. Just listening to you makes me fall in love with it after all.
Thank you 🥰 Femme Rochas is a very femme perfume with this old school vibe. It’s warm, spicy, smoky and leathery. On the dry down it’s really the cinnamon like tarte tatin a little bit or like a winter cinnamon cake. Very animalic too
I love Femme! I been wearing it since the 90's. It was also Jayne MANSFIELD favorite perfume and Also Audrey Hepburns favorite before hers was created for her. I mentioned her on many of my videos. 🥰
@@shanegrim5421 Of course it's ok if you like it but for those who knew the original it's a pity that milestone in Givenchy 's legacy has been discontinued.
I think I tried Tocade in Sephora last time. It is the only perfume with Mademoiselle that Sephora still carry. It is very different than femme with fresh green notes of Lily of Valley, Magnolia, Orchid, Rose and oriental notes in the base. It is a great perfume.
I love it! Yes, it is very much the type of perfume that a little girl will fantasize about! like wearing mum's high heel shoes or red lipstick (the thing I used to do when I was younger). It is the epitome of a Woman. Very feminine and intense perfume!
The C in cinnamon is pronounced like S, not ch. I appreciate it when people correct my French, taught you may feel the same. I will stop if you don't feel the same :).
I’ve listen to this video and thought ‘WTH is chinaman?!’ I’ve been into fragrances for years but never heard of this ingredient 🤣 I like your reviews!
Love this perfume as a man….wearing it….and finnaly(maybe not so strange as you’re a French),someone knows how to pronounce a word “femme”…it’s so simple, but 90% of english spoken reviewers spell it uncorrect.
Hi Alice! Like your reviews very much! You are very beautyful and elegant Lady! Learning do much from your videos. Is your Rochas vintage? Is the current version also good?
Hi Viktoria ! Thank you so much for your nice comment 🥰 this Rochas in my video is not a vintage one but the new version. Fortunately this perfume has not been reformulated that much and the new version is pretty similar to the old one. It’s a warm spicy leathery orientale with a soft flowery direction on the dry down. Leathery sweet. I recommend the new version
perfect review, wanna blind buy it ... hopefully it´s masuline or at least not that femmine .... i have Mitsouko EDT but not a fan of it a lot (it reminds me that granny old pissy/flowery perfumes and somehow senior house smell :) so hopefully Rochas Femme doesn´t have that vibe at all .... what do you think according to your experience?
From my research, the one with the black cap is exactly the same. They just changed the cap, replacing the previous one with a plastic and transparent one, but the composition remains the same. Let me know f you know more!
@@אוריתבוקובזה The black cap version is the earlier formulation. Femme has been reformulated several times over the years. Olivier Cresp reformulated Femme in 1989. He added a cumin note, which people either love or hate! There was another reformulation in 2013, with a black, slanted cap. This version did not receive good reviews & is best avoided! Older versions are the parfum extrait, and also came in edt, edp and parfum de toilette. The older bottles also did not have the word ‘Rochas’ written on the bottle. Versions before 1989 were the original by Edmond Roudnitska. The gold cap version in this video is the most recent one.
@@אוריתבוקובזה Hi, I am reffering to Fragantica and in both case they have the same black cap but not the same form. In the first version with the black cap (1944) it is very similar to the modern version I am showing in the video and in 2013 version yes there is cumin and the middle notes are different. Fragantica does not list this perfume with the transparent cap, so it is confusing
I think the current version (my new one is a year old) is a little disappointing - no cinnamon or clove, not much fruit, too much cumin, and more masculine than feminine. The old versions get compared to Mitsouko, but the new Femme shouldn't even mention her name. 🫤 I love your reviews and passion for perfume. Edit: After several sprays, the air has entered the bottle, and it has improved immensely - the cumin has calmed down and I perceive it as immortelle instead - I really love it, and apparently so do those around me - perfume compliments for the first time in years! I even panicked and bought a back-up bottle, which has also come alive after getting some air into it - it was initially a cumin bomb like the other bottle...

Thank you for the information! I didn’t know that…. Audrey Hepburn also used to love l’interdit by Givenchy. Se loved intense perfume
I just bought Audrey Hepburns favorite perfume L’Interdit by Givenchy. It’s divine also! Beautiful in every way
@@shanegrim5421 Unfortunately if you bought L'Interdit quite recently it's the same name but another perfume and never worn by Audrey Hepburn.

I do have a bottle of Femme, very elegant as you describe. I'm wondering have you tried Tocade by Rochas? Would love to hear your opinion on it 😀

Very elegant and sophisticated! I want to wear this to a whiskey or jazz bar 👌
Very femme fatale perfume and I love the accord of cinnamon and rose with some musky and sweet leathery note.
I remember going to the department stores as a little girl and spraying this on. So beautiful 😍

No need to buy over expensive perfume to smell pretty distinctive. Femme is so affordable. I just regret they discontinued the EDP.

Hello yes thanks for mentioning it. I just discovered that the way I used to pronounce cinnamon is very unique and singular. 😂

Hello - this Femme you're sharing, is it EDT or EDT? I always see an EDT version - no EDP so far. Hope to hear from you.Thank you!
Hello this is the EDT . Only comes in EDT version but it’s very strong and intense for an EDT
Is the EDT similar?
Yes. It comes only on EDT

Rochas is a femme fatale perfume. It’s warm, spicy and intoxicating. Floral, spicy and ambery. Very opulent too. Like Diva by Ungaro but more spicy
