- Dark Souls games are hard, and if that's not your thing, don't let someone else make you feel bad for not enjoying it. Just like any fanbase out there, there are bound to be the outliers that make everyone look bad, so why don't we take a look into it.

Something I don’t like about souls games is that that the whole difficulty and piecing together the lore seems to be the only thing it has up its sleeve.
I like a game that has a good difficulty, if it’s slick and has a good presentation, I loved playing Cuphead but that’s because there was no shitty lore there and its looks are gorgeous and make the game easily readable.
I agree with you that beating Darksouls shouldn’t be something everybody playing games should’ve done because in the end it’s just a game and if you make darksouls a president for what makes a real gamer you gonna have all kinds of people saying that about whatever their maypole is, and I feels sorry for people then going out of their way to play that instead of games that they actually enjoy free of peer pressure.
Yeah I mean I have no problem with people enjoying things at all, it’s just when you go out of your way being elitist about everything it just isn’t a great look 😅 “good games” are super subjective and if people enjoy the games good for them but leave other people alone if they just aren’t into it haha

How do just a few asshats ruin everything when you said you are fine with MOST of them? And yea every fanbase has idiot douchebags so this applies to literally anyone who is a fan of anything.
As a degenerate souls player I respect your decision to not enjoy those games. They legit aren't for everyone, but if you ever get some time and are curious check out some of the lore channels and just listen to the story. It's honestly like getting into a good audio book :) VatiVidya does some good work! Love the new face cam!
