    It worked on my mother's 1996 bmw 520i e34.
    Symptoms: white sweet smoke, not extreme but noticiable .
    She was lucky because it overheated once and the head was not deformed.
    I guess it was a small leak in the head gasket.
    I watched this video before try it, so thank you for sharing your experience.

    I've used this a few times it's always work for me you got to catch it right in the beginning.
    I recently noticed my ford focus occasionally had a little bit of the white smoke so I put a thing of K-seal in as more of a preventative as these are notorious for fluid intrusion into the cylinders.
    So far so good but when it starts to get really cold below zero it will tell me how it did this time

      When you say you got to catch it right in the beginning, what do you mean? I’ve also got a Ford focus and mines got a bit of white smoke and my engine coolant is definitely leaking

    Worked for me today. My issue was exhaust into the coolant system. I had no coolant into the oil. I introduced the Kseal into my top radiator hose 2/3 and 1/3 top of radiator. I also bled the thermostat housing which is important

    Do NOT put pure k seal into the radiator put the k seal in water or it will clog the radiator

    I'm a mom of 3, in Chicago. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I had #6 & #4 cylinder misfires. Turned out, coolant present when the 6 & 4 spark plugs were pulled out.. I was told my Head Gasket had a leak. No smoke, no overheating etc. Nothing, just coolant disappearing after about 2 or 3 wks, then all of the sudden gone overnight. Only one time did it "shake" on first start of the day. All other 1st starts are hesitant, and then fine after about 15-20 seconds. 3 mechanics said HG are not "fixed" or "replaced" and that the entire engines have to be replaced with having a "leak". I'm a woman, but even I know that's total BS!!! The stealerships in Illinois are also horrible crooks and liars! Even stole parts off my special edition Jeep! Cannot be trusted.
    We're a low-income family and I just bought a can of K-Seal today. I'm going to "try" to fix this myself after I research some more. If there's anybody in Illinois that is familiar with this stuff and head gasket leaks, I'd appreciate a friend RN, and some info/help. Thanks everybody. And thanks for this post Jabo The Mechanic.

    I used K-Seal twice on my 06 GMC Envoy Denali, but it didn't hold. The coolant is leaking, but not into the oil and there's no white smoke - but it only takes 60 miles of driving and it starts to overheat. I'll need to get a mechanic to do the head gasket repair.

    this works, no shit! have a 4th generation chrysler minivan 3.8 v6 which i was stupid enough to say 'close enough' with the anti-freeze 'percentage' last winter. [kind of a headache i was working on, and hardly cared. "i'll put some more concentrate in later."] well, that super cold snap came. Early spring i pulled dipstick casually, and it was 'milkshake'! boy, was i mad/ sad. so i did put some k-seal in, -and that was IT! an 'old timer' i know said the crack was probably in the head [or both heads?] and not the block, as the narrow coolant passages there tend to be the first to crack. But regardless, here is a bona fide case of k-seal 'sealing' a 'cracked engine block'! and i've BEEN driving the van, a little nervous now, for several months. no sign of any more coolant getting in oil! [that's what 'milkshake' means.] and i've gone on several 'road trips' of over 60 miles one way too. it may help that this type of motor is an 'overhead valve' type, like chevy v-8's...
    [for 'full disclosure' i did add blue devil to coolant too, but like a week later, just for 'insurance', [b.d. 'pour-n-go'], but k-seal was ALREADY working before that, so motor ran w/ no milkshake after.]

    My car was using coolant on long trips, and there was bubbles on the radiator, I didn’t have the money to change the head gasket rn soo I just found out about these sealer’s and bought the K seal, drained and clean the whole system put new coolant on it and the k seal, let it idle for 30 minutes, then let it cool for 3 hours, again idle for 30 minutes and cool for the rest of the night, about 10 hours, there’s no bubbles, doesn’t smell like coolant getting burned and doesn’t smell like gasoline on the reservoir.

    I have coolant bubbling in my reservoir and the reservoir tank fills to the top after a short drive plus the temperature gauge spikes and returns to normal as soon as I accelerate.
    I used k seal .
    Removed top rad hose and poured it into cold engine then took car for a 15 minutes drive and left it run idle after the drive for 10minutes the k seal did absolutely nothing to fix the problem.

    • @loganc1999
      @loganc1999 2 роки тому +1

      The cooling system needs the air to be purged out. Air is introduced into the cooling system any time you pour coolant or anything into the radiator. I had that problem when I added K-Seal until I took my radiator cap off, put a funnel in its place then squeezed the main rad hoses until I didn't see air bubbles coming from the top of rad. Then I kept the engine revved to 1500 until no more bubbles came from the coolant. Not only did the K-seal work on my heater core, my car doesn't overheat anymore. I realized how important this step is after that.

    • @mosesizeta8902
      @mosesizeta8902 Рік тому +1

      You're not supposed to drive it at the beginning with this stuff. Pour it in when the engine is cold, let it idle on its own for 30 minutes, turn the engine off, let it get cold (preferably overnight), repeat the process the next morning and it should work.

    Hi all! My 2004 4runner has been misfiring on cylinder #2. After new plugs/engine coils, replced fuel injector, the check engine light came back. No white smoke, no over heating, just shaking on cold start, then good. My mechanic friend said 99% sure its cracked gasket. I bought Kseal ultimate for gasket, poured it into the reservoir in the store parking lot, drove around for 20 mins, then parked for the night. Next morning, no shaking at startup. By lunch time, the check engine light cleared itself. 2 weeks later(Yesterday morning) it started shaking again on start up & check engine light on again. I checked the code, still saying misfire on #2. Did i not use the Kseal correctly the 1st time? Does anyone have any suggestions? Im a single mom who LOVES her 4runner and Cannot afford a new car right now! Especially here in So cal!! 😢
