Don't forget that they had the dragon elder scroll in a transcription device, the same scroll used to banish Alduin into the fourth era. And they probably experimented on it, knowing how the Dwemer do.
In some Dwemer ruins in TES 3 Morrowind, there are ash piles with dwemer equipment everywhere. As if the wearer of the equipment was burnt or disintegrated. They deaaaad.
Fang Lair holds a pretty interesting detail for the Dwemer. one of the groups of necromancers you encounter have dialogue when you get close but don't enter combat saying how they are trying to forge a connection between themselves and the Dwemer that are dead around them, so that they can raise them as undead, But as with usual dead, there is a resistance and a tether you latch onto to be able to control them, to force them to rise under your will, such is necromancy in ES Lore. However, the remains of some of the Dwemer found there have NOTHING, no connection, no resistance to fight to raise them, and they cant be raised. The necromancer even says that there should be something at least even with the longest dead they've raised there is always a remnant of a connection. the lingering connection wanes over time and is why older dead are easier to raise than fresh dead, due to the spirit still wanting to either inhabit the body or yearns for the ability to pass on to their respective afterlife. So, it seems that even long dead Dwemers' spirits/souls were taken with them, what we DONT know is why just being out of the current sphere/reality is what protected Yagrum Bagarn from being forcefully raptured even though the souls of long dead Dwemer were taken, seeing as how they would've been not on this plane and potentially in some afterlife they had.
The whole video isn't accurate at all. Sadly you can't just take some book to do it. The ES community give an extraordinary work ont it since Morrowind. Nirn reality work differently than Oblivion or Aetherius. I don't remember that Dwemers tries to be god themselves, even if they had serious dangerous ambition. The fact is in their fail, Dwemers awake the Dreamer. Dwemers existencies were wipe out. They didn't disapear. They didn't die. Dwemers at time 0, never exist due to the Dreamer. All of their action, creation still exist though and it's why it break the Dragon. The causality through the break was a big thing. If Dwemers still remain somwhere, they are in sort of outside the box. The "Dreamer" is litteraly the existencial substance of the realms of Oblivion, Aetherius and Nirn. Like each Deadra are with their own realm. When Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha sil became Gods, it was by a similar path. All of them break the dragons and succeed. Elders scrolls is a bit sci fi.
@Studly Hungwell The easy way : Take a look about the work of Kirkbride one of the major scenarist of Elders scrolls until he left. His work shape the whole elders scrolls world. It's him who mainly bring a lot of sci fi in Elders scrolls. Like the Ceporah tower who is oldest than the White one in cyrodil... because for him it's a ship ! Or go to forum lore. A lot of stuff were investigate by numerous people with all books and stuff. The hard way : go to the imperial library or Uesp lore section. Make your researchs about the creation of the world. The fall of dwemer and the Chim of ALMSIVI illustrate the whole stuff. So Anu , Padomay, and Nir can be qualified as true gods in elders scrolls. but it"s not the begining. Both are supposed to appear in the dream of the Godhead (or the Dreamer° ). If i remember correctly it"s like inception. At the end all Deadra try to escape of this mess. You can start by : Comments of the mythical Dawn, volume 3, Black Book: Dreaming of a sky without stars, Teachings of Vehk, Religions of the Empire, Word of Ahnissi clan mother , 36 Lessons from Vivec, 3rd Sermon, Comments of the mythical Dawn, volume 1, Before the age of Man, Source of Chaos, Fire and darkness, The Monomyth, The paraphrased Anuade
@@filidhdeklend893 well that’s part of the “in another realm” thing that saved bagarm, we don’t really know where the Dwemer go when they die normally, some could’ve been elsewhere and some could be more recently deceased than others so idk
I think the Dwemer planned it. In all things they were painstakingly meticulous and logical. They didn't believe in luck and left nothing to chance. I can't believe Kagranak would start hammering on the heart without knowing exactly what he was doing. 1. The Dwemer were experimenting on an elder scroll in Mzark. 2. Bamz Amchend contained a great celestial map. 3. They inscribed the complete entirety of all Dwemer knowledge on lexicons within Avanchnzel. Other various clanholds put their manufactories into overdrive, turning out weapons, armor and whole armies worth of automatons. In my opinion they knew exactly what was coming and were preparing.
You should definetly start lore series.I am invested and obsessed with it and I watched a lot of lore TES channels in last 8 years but I really think you have big potential with your narrative. You speak clearly and not overcomplicating the subject and using poetic language too much like Fudge Muppet (even tho they really are lore masters).Plus you can bring interest for the lore to a lot of people who only raid in ESO. bravo Nef
I think it's simple as it is - dwemer found out that they're nothing, but a characters in a dream of a dead god, video game characters. And unlike Vivec, they could not believe that they exist so... They stopped existing. Like entirely. That's what happens in complete opposite spectrum of reaching CHIM - instead of breaking out of bounds of your limited existence, you stop existing entirely.
This series is insanely meta, especially when it comes to morrowind era lore. I wouldn't be surprised if they made the Heart of Lorkhan able to access the game files and Kagrenac tried to edit the Dwemer race stats but accidentally deleted everyone
Interesting research! For those thinking there's too much speculation, it's about as precise as any other mythological philosophies ending in -ism....I guess this one would be called Dwemerism? 😂
They all became spirits, possibly losing their individuality, and becoming a god. A Dwemer god but, with no worshippers as all have been assimilated into one massive soul, like an Aedra or Daedra. Or they defined their individuality and "ego" as an entire race thus creating an entire realm of Aetherius of their own, however all their old feuds and such didnt just vanish so there is probably many years of confusion before they even started doing anything expansive.
I think there time travelers maybe not on purpose but if they accidentally sent them selves to the past. It explains why there so advanced and seem to appear out of no where, which begs the question are they stuck in a loop or are they still trying for a different result with the experiment by trying over and over again
I believe real lore isnt that complicated. Simply, I think dwemer developed space colony ship and escaped the planet. but, dwemer activated security robots for in case they have to return to planet. or they simply developed something like drilling vehicle or steam ship and moved to other undiscovered continent
Very nice video - but please be aware that you are wrong. M'aiq explicitly states - in one of his dialogues in Elder Scrolls Online - "Do not waste your time looking for the Dwarves. M'aiq knows where they are. If the Dwarves wish to be found, this one will surely let you know." This definitely implies that the Dwemer are not trapped - because someone who is trapped WANTS to be found (so that they can be freed). It rather hints at the Dwemer having successfully transcended - and are now watching and waiting. Also, in Skyrim, M'aiq states: "M'aiq knows why the Falmer are blind. It has nothing to do with the disappearance of the Dwemer, really." Thoughts?
Sotha sil is the creator of them plain and simple your lore is wrong play the game lol there were not elf's it's machines created buy sotha sil to create his own world separate from the plain and under ground...
It's also worth adding that UESP (though an unofficial encyclopedia) treats the stories in ESO as though they're legit lore. They add them to their lore timelines (look up the Second Era), create lore pages for the characters, update existing articles accordingly, etc.
If Nefas suddenly disappears we know it was the dwemer.
SawmanUK left ESO and said that he will never come back. I'm sure he's dwemer)))
No Todd howard assassinated him because he was right
What if they travelled foward in the future just like Alduin? They had a time displacement machine in Blackreach, if I recall.
Don't forget that they had the dragon elder scroll in a transcription device, the same scroll used to banish Alduin into the fourth era. And they probably experimented on it, knowing how the Dwemer do.

Uh... No. Have you ever played Morrowind? There are dwemer spectres there
Dwemer mystery is one of the most intriguing parts of the lore all through The Elder Scrolls... your soothing voice fits perfectly!

A great video. You have a good voice for lore video dude! Would love to see more of these. Love elder scrolls lore.
SawmanUK was a dwemer. That's why he might never come back to ESO.
this was so enjoyable to watch! do more of these, I implore you!
I love you for making this video!
This content is way better than complaining about game systems and players. Thumbs up
Love this video you should do more lore stuff it was great.
Interesting research! For those thinking there's too much speculation, it's about as precise as any other mythological philosophies ending in -ism....I guess this one would be called Dwemerism? 😂
You going nerd on me? You rolling out with Fudge Muppet now, homie?

Huh, but what does @Fudgemuppet say about this?
Never trust elves that live like dwarves. Or that rock such fabulous beards.

My personal theory is that they became their own machines.
"I don't know about the lore" *makes a lore video*
More lore videos! also your website wont let us look at the builds anymore :(
We're in the process of updating the entire website from the ground up! Sorry for the issue but it should be resolved now.
I have got absolutely no idea what this guy was on about here
How do you account for Dwemer spectres in Morrowind?
People always forget about them 😂
The Dwemer didn’t disappear, they just never ended lockdown.
We will truly never know what really happened, they wanted it this way, and I really hope it stays that way.
if youre gonna do lore videos you need to grow your hair out, and have skyrim instrumental in the background like camel XD
Video starts at 6:18. Everything before is a repetition of dwemer times over and over until he got tired it seems.
F_ck off
This is all the console players on UA-cam trying to migrate to PC to become gods only to disappear from UA-cam completely.
I believe real lore isnt that complicated. M'aiq is also a liar and easter egg. A narrator as potentially unreliable as any other.
Focus less on doing an ''epic deep voice'' and more on providing a natural narration with fewer errors and speech f*ck-ups.
Crazy how it's just my normal voice.
@@NefasQS Uh huh lol. Well anyway just some random person's advice. Keep up the content.
Sotha sil is the creator of them plain and simple your lore is wrong play the game lol there were not elf's it's machines created buy sotha sil to create his own world separate from the plain and under ground...
Snow elf's were high elf's driven under ground buy the Nord kings the white skin is from many generations living under ground
Can we really consider Elder Scrolls Online as any sort of credible lore Source though? I thought it was kind of fan fiction?
They did an interview about ESO and the lore 10 years ago: ua-cam.com/video/8_cKUX8H8JM/v-deo.html
