Hey brother! Great play through! How do you achieve such clarity in your drives and tones? To stray from being muddy or overgained Also what kind of chords do you play? Are they inversions?
Thanks so much! I’m always mindful of how much gain I’m using and how that effects clarity. I don’t run a ton of gain on my drives (9 o’clock at the most). This stomp patch also cuts a lot of low end below 120ish so that keeps things nice and clear and helps it fit great in a mix. As far as chords go, those are basically inversions! One of my first videos talks about these shapes (Inversions 101), so feel free to check that out. You’ll see a walkthrough of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position inversions with sound/song examples for each.
It’s hard to believe the original of that song came out in 2011. Definitely one that should be revisited!
For real! Been around for a while.
What a great song James! Great guitar playing my brother! Sounds so good! Have a blessed day 🙏
Thanks so much! Always awesome and encouraging to see you hanging around these videos 🙏🏽
I just realized that we are doing that song this week on Sunday. Great job as always.
One of my favorite songs to play live! Let me know below which songs you want to see next!
Yeah sounds sick bro! Every time I hear a duo jet, I remember why I want one.

What are the chords for the instrumental build-up to the bridge at 2:56?
Just curious if this meant as the lead guitar if there sre two players in the band?
Most of my videos are for a one guitar on stage context, but this one is mainly the lead parts I play.
