This song has a simplicity to it that I enjoy. It's patient, worshipful and has a nice groove. I encourage you to pray over Isaiah 9:2 when you listen to/play this song: "The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them." What a promise that is.
I love that you share verses that complement songs. I'm always blown away that so many of the worship resources online (even the paid ones) don't really do this. When I type up songs for my team I always include a handful of relevant verses I can find to help encourage the team with, and so our worship leaders can encourage the congregation with. I added Isaiah 9:2 to the list, and also have Psalm 97:4 & Philippians 2:9-10. Hope you're doing well Troy!
FreshWater Sure thing, bro. I do that for every song play through; otherwise, it’s just a video of some random dude covering another person’s parts. It provides no value to the community at all, IMO.
Great tutorial! I like your sound a lot and was curious why you settled on veritas guitars?:) Apparently, their shop is in Vancouver, WA. Are you in Portland/Vancouver area? I live here, so just wondering:) God bless and thanks for what you’re doing!
Thanks for doing this. I have a request. 🤠 Have you heard of no other name by Francesca Battiselli? I dont think its as popular as this song or others you do.
I've listened to it many times in the past -- just never studied it that hard. I'll pull up the lyrics and listen to the guitar parts. If I can come up with something, you'll see it!
Guitar for HIS Glory it is one of my favorites. My church Shoreline church in Austin Tx plays it alot. Than you for your hard work and dedication. God Bless. I will keep an eye out for it.
i purchased the Tremble preset and loaded it into my Kemper but can't seem to find it under the browser or performance..can you give me any dierection as to where it will show up? will it be loaded as a song in the performance mode?
I play electric for my church and we sang this this previous Sunday. If you posted a day sooner I could of used this tutorial for Sunday lol. But God bless you bro. Your videos are very helpful :D especially since you play lead and rythym together sometimes. I do that too since I'm the only electric.
POG, Julia and Strymon Flint. That's what the pedalboard shot is for, bro! :) If you need more explanation, there's an entire lesson/tutorial on the website.
I just watched the video again. Didn't look like I made any changes, but that's why the pedalboard shot is there, so you can see what I'm doing. Take a look.
@@GuitarforHISGlory am i making sense? Lol. I wad talking about that bit you do before the bridge and right after the chorus. Kind of tremlo and modded sound. Just wanted to know, I'm playing it tomorrow lol
J D, the video never mentions that it’s a tutorial. Sounds like you assumed something that wasn’t actually the case. 👍🏻 The tutorial is on the website.
I learned the song from this video so it was good instruction. Good work as always. One quick question though we are playing this in two weeks in C as well. It looks like its capo'd for A# do you play the song in A to get it to C? Or am I off on that?

Thank you so much!
Sounds awesome, dude!! And that ‘tas is beautiful. Dang!!
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing the effects and the pick up for each section. Don't see that often in videos

Do reckless love bro that’s my favorite song u sound combined them both if they are in the same key idk
David, at this time I don't have plans to do that song. Thanks for the request, though!

I believe in the company and what they stand for. It doesn't hurt that their guitars are amazing. :) I across the country from Veritas.
Thanks for doing this. I have a request. 🤠

I'll look into it!

Guitar for HIS Glory Thats great! 🤠

Do you have any tips on learning electric guitar? Right now I'm just looking at UA-cam videos like yours and playing them
That's a great way. :)
man, where did you get your metronome click sound? i want it :)
Multitracks.com
I got the same Aux2 but only the right side works:/ I can’t scroll back and forth using both buttons. Does yours work?
I think so...
i purchased the Tremble preset and loaded it into my Kemper but can't seem to find it under the browser or performance..can you give me any dierection as to where it will show up? will it be loaded as a song in the performance mode?
67SneakyPete Absolutely. Email me (email address is on the website) and I’ll give you a hand. Happy to help!
What pedal under the timeline and above the Julianna?
It’s a two button aux switch from Ambient Endeavors.

you have any knowledge to share on pups for a semi hollow body?
If you have specific questions, I can try to answer them.
what was that you did at 3:52? you didn't explain it
POG, Julia and Strymon Flint. That's what the pedalboard shot is for, bro! :) If you need more explanation, there's an entire lesson/tutorial on the website.
thanks man!
You're welcome!
Do you have any suggestion for getting the ac 30ish sound without going through kemper or helix?
At the risk of being Captain Obvious: buy an AC30. What are you playing through now?
Guitar for HIS Glory I am playing through a fender champ 12 and ac 15c1 now. Is there any good subtitute for an affordable direct setup?
Tech 21 Liverpool, Amplifire, Cabzeus...? You could buy a Torpedo Cab and a load box and run your AC15 into that...
Hey can you do Anchor By Hillsong? Would so helpful if you could!!
I'll add it to the list. That's one of my favorites!
Guitar for HIS Glory thanks! :D
What pickups are those!? That neck pickup sounds so nice and bright
Lollar El Rayos.
How do you use the superbolt?
low gain or high gain? bless
Mid to high gain. You can see the knobs in the video.
So good...!!!!!^^
Glad you enjoyed it.
What key are you in. I will be playing this song in C without a capo. Thanks for advance
Todd Wright This is in C. 👍🏻
Guitar for HIS Glory thank you. I take it I can play it this same way as you without a capo and it be C.
@@twright1972 If you play it like I did WITHOUT a capo it will sound terrible...that's why I used a capo. 😉
👍🏻
do you mind me asking what key this is in? i really like it and i’m playing this weekend and would love to do this version .. we’re doing it in B
This in C. For future reference, the Key is always in the Thumbnail.
Guitar for HIS Glory oh haha didn’t notice.. i just ended up transposing it last night
All good, brother. Hopefully the thumbnail tip saves you some time in the future!
Guitar for HIS Glory why capo to A? C is an easy key for guitar. Just curious why capo for lead?
Hey what effects did you do for bridge. You didnt label
I just watched the video again. Didn't look like I made any changes, but that's why the pedalboard shot is there, so you can see what I'm doing. Take a look.
@@GuitarforHISGlory oops, sorry I meant "tag". I usually just call it part of the bridge. Its cause i really like that vibrato modulated sound :)
@@GuitarforHISGlory am i making sense? Lol. I wad talking about that bit you do before the bridge and right after the chorus. Kind of tremlo and modded sound. Just wanted to know, I'm playing it tomorrow lol
The Julia is on: chorus and vibrato.
@@GuitarforHISGlory ahh, gotcha thank you! It sounds real good :)
Is that a Portlander?
Yessir.
Great as always!
who singing this version ?
Mosaic. I think they wrote it. For future reference, I always name the artist/band in the thumbnail picture. 🎸
How would you adjust if you were the only electric ?
I wouldn't. I play this exact part.
May I ask what guitar you're using ?
Sure thing. This is a Veritas Portlander.
Guitar for HIS Glory What pickups does this one have? Bearcats?
I know that his white veritas has Lollar T’s. It might be the same on this one aswell but I don’t want to speak for him lol.
Ian, this guitar (and the white one) has Lollar El Rayos.
Guitar for HIS Glory Thanks!
It's the Best Man!
Tabs free!! Please
?
could you share the tabs? Please!!
Oh. I don't use or create tabs. Sorry, Josh!
It would be good, but thanks anyway! Blessing
What’s that guitar?
Veritas Portlander.
Trade one of your Veritas for a Sparkle Jet? 🙃
If I wanted a Sparkle Jet, I'd get a Sparkle Jet. LOL. Can't blame you for trying. 👍😂
Guitar for HIS Glory had to shoot my shot 😂
Helix patch? Lol
I'll whip one up one of these days!
I'm'a try me som'a dis, buuuuuut...I know I'm'a Korn it up like a djentleman. 😁😮😉😜🤣🤣🤣😊🙏🕉💪💚
I gave this a thumbs down because there is no instructions. A tutorial requires instructions, this is just a nice cover.

Never mind it just hit me for so.e reason it only to turn the A into a C sorry man.
