Snow day for us today in Texas so I got to watch while I had my coffee and am stitching. What an amazing work of craftsmanship that owl is!
Great finds! I don't hate Peeps but I just need one and then I'm done for the season... they are so oooo sweet!!!
I have one needle minder. I don't have enough projects going to need more than that at the moment but they are so cute, I like the idea of them matching the project.

Here's an idea to stand up your ornaments in the styrofoam---cut a narrow channel into the foam at just enough of a depth for the ornament to be supported, but not too deep so you hide some of the design. When my first grandchild was about 7 months old for her first Easter, I bought one of those bunny shaped stuffed toys. It became her favorite snuggle friend!

I laughed so much at this video, selling hubbies clothes and flocking everything, the carved owl is fabulous and I love the tombstones, thanks for sharing my 'murder kitty' x

Oh my goodness you cracked me up when you talked about flocking your trees LOL. Great idea with your hoops and needle minders I do not have a ton, but I like your idea. I have seen magnetic boards you can hang on your wall maybe that would work keep your hoops and circle them around the board. I just love all of your finds and your creativity. Always a joy to watch your flosstube.

That frame with the scallops was very popular for a cross stitch last year. Everyone was buying it. Good find.

I love your owl.I also collect owls . When we had the ceramic crease I made a white owl into a lamp. At that time I went to the Tulsa zoo to see what color their eyes were . I wanted it to look as real as possible. But it sat in a box in greenwear while I was expecting .it was a merical that it didn't get broken. That was back in 1978 .I still have it and it has a place of honor in my front room. He is not small. He is about 30ins tall by 15

The scalloped frame you found at the Dump has been used by many stitchers to frame Winter Rose Manor by With Thy Needle and Thread! Winter Rose Manor fits perfectly in that frame! Love that magnetic frame from Ukraine for perforated paper. I’m going to order that size & the smaller size too! I tend to bend the paper while stitching on it! Love watching your videos and “finds”!

I am currently working on Boreal Colors by Eder Jose Rosa. If you haven’t seen this one have a look as it is beautiful! I have lots of projects on the go all the time as I love too many. Hello Sarah, What a treasure you found with the "This Is Us" frame. This Hobby Lobby frame was highly sought after 3 years ago when Lori Holt featured it during episode "Flosstube #4 - Snowy Finishes, WIPS's & New Starts" published 1/1/2021, see time stamp 11:10. Lori used this frame to fully finish, Winter Rose Manor by Brenda Gervais (With Thy Needle & Thread). Unfortunately, I jumped on the band wagon a little too ate and could never find this frame at my local Hobby Lobby and it was no longer offered for sale online. Maybe one day I will be fortunate enough to find it too. I guess you could say this frame is my "unicorn frame" lol . As always, your episodes never disappoint and I look forward to your weekly publications. The carved wood owl is spectacular!.

Just to add to the uses of the hobby lobby frame. If you watch Theresa Koguts floss tube with her new releases, she used that same frame for one of her new releases. Good find.

Wow on the owl! My diamond art pieces stopped being sticky after a few days. I kept the plastic surface vinyl and used that to press down on the shapes after they were finished. I guess I am not ready to invest more into this project. Temp can be a challenge to find all the descriptions. I bought a paper punch and find the paper does not go in far enough. The hole ends up being too close to,the edge of the paper. Their charms are a good deal.

Another great video for my late Sunday night guilty pleasure. What a score with the frame. And the owl is beyond beautiful. Just fyi I have 18 count perforated paper from 123 stitch maybe they have 16 as well. Have a great week.

I have ordered some kits for the diamond painting. Haven't tried it yet but have been watching some you tubes about it. I saw one lady that said she used Minwax polycrylic sealer for her diamond paintings. Make sure it's the clean gloss. She paints it on with a paint brush. She mentioned not using a sponge brush because it would give you too much coverage or not enough. She also recommended using a roller either a small one you can buy for diamond painting or just a regular one for making pie crust. Like I make my own pie crust!! LOL Just thought I'd give you a few ideas. Happy Stitching and maybe diamond painting!!

Your husband is right...the perforated paper people will look a little out of scale. Stitch the house on 14 or 28 ct, or stitch everything on 18 count since you can get perforated paper in that count.

I just ordered two of the magnetic hoops (also thanks to Helen lol). I know I have two sizes of Mill Hill kits, so I know I wanted the largest one (5 inches square) and the smallest one and the bundle price that they were offering was less than the price of two individual hoops. Hopefully mine arrive as quickly as yours did! 🪡👠

Hi Sarah, regarding the fabric for Astor Place, you put too many numbers in a sentence; 14, 16, 32. My math anxiety kicked in and my eyes glazed over and I started drooling. You should be okay using the fabric as you’ll be able to fudge any discrepancy by filling in with stitches, etc. I love the owl. We have an owl tree topper for our Christmas tree. I always look forward to watching your videos on Monday mornings-a great way to start the week.
