Glad your Stuart is doing better. Our pets are so important to us. I’m adjusting to being the caretaker for a diabetic dog. Just paying back a small part of the love she’s given me in the past 12 years. When my favorite clothing becomes worn or torn, I mend it. Even in my small sewing area, I find that labels are organizational lifesavers. A very wise friend once told me something that immediately became one of my life axioms … THE FAINTEST PEN IS BETTER THAN THE BEST MEMORY … so for me … labels and lists. I label everything and just that simple act saves me so much time, energy, and brain fatigue.

My sewing room needs mending. I had to throw away several yards of fabric all my cubes that stored my quilting fabric. We tore out a lot of my flooring found water damage. Then yesterday we had a torrential rain and we discovered where the water is coming in. Now to mend the wall and restore everything. I am so thankful we found the problem. I thought I had a lot of stuff. You are on a whole new level. Impressive!

Nice to have Sections of each craft for the most part. I use my guest room's bed to organize, then bring into my craft room. Your room is like a Store. Love it.

After I straightened mine up, a friend said she knew I'm always buying stuff for my craft room but wanted to know where I bought floor space. 😂 I purchased a cubical unit & put it in a closet. It has a cloth basket in each cube full of craft items. I've always put everything away after each use, but the stuff on the floor had no designated space. Now it does. I filled the other closet in the room with totes. Labeled of course. 😉 I've always had an area by my sewing machines to mend items. More space means more crafts...right?
