Jun in BB 4 slyly looking at Allison answer in the final HOH....then writing down 1 million...all so Allison can piss of Robert by Evicting him was utter genius and utterly hilarious
Honestly I believe what Bowie said in the house the day after the comp vs what she said in the DR. Mishearing the question and guessing how long Jared was out of the house, only to realize she misheard and quickly add a number makes way more sense. If she was trying to throw, and she realized her answer might be too low and accidentally win, she could’ve added a few more numbers to go really high. Or she could’ve gotten a question wrong before the tiebreaker.
Bad tiebreaker answers personifies one mind-fucking aspect Big Brother does any and all aspect: even are normally good at it, your ability to do math, at least readily, goes straight to shit while you are in that house.
@@staceynainlab888 Yeah, that doesn’t help the houseguests either, but especially whenever she also reminds the houseguest the portion of the episode is live.
This season people are accused of throwing competitions week after week after week, even when they pretty clearly didn't, so I'm glad we finally got somebody who meant to throw and accidentally won. I had forgotten how nerve-wracking the old competitions were when you got to see them at the end of the live show instead of waiting 3 hours or 4 hours, long after the dust has settled and your nerves aren't as fried. I remember that BB7 Danielle/George competition so well as I thought the BB Prom idea was very clever (I wish they'd brought it back again - wasn't that also a week Janelle won some kind of power she couldn't use as she was outgoing HOH?). And who can forget the sight of a thrilled Howie cheering and hugging George...
You forgot to mention that Bowie said she threw the HoH (despite the fact she could have intentionally not gotten a perfect score in order to be tied with Felicia in the first place).
These comps are always interesting because it normally seems like just dumb luck wins them. For this recent zombie one I would have just done 25x60x6=9000 then maybe tack an extra 500 or so onto it, try and be close-ish but for sure being under (of course I would have lost by a random guess of 10k)
I paused while watching the tiebreaker and used a calculator (because I'm bad at math and not in the game ;) ) and did 60x24x6 and got 8640, as I was worried doing a full 7 days would be too high but I wasn't sure how many hours it was. I would have won HOH... but I don't know if my mental math would have been good enough
Sadly I would probably suck at tie breaker questions! Because one of my big problems in school was doing math in my head! So I would probably lose the tie breaker!
4:41... I have not seen BB4... But that is an insanely iconic and infamous moment and I'm gonna take it with me wherever I shall go next in life. OH AND JUN OUTHREW THE COMP OH MY GOD A QUEEN 5:27
I wish I was recording when I watched that live. I genuinely exploded in laughter and then utter shock and then back to exploding in laughter😂 (for BB25)
I will NEVER, EVER get over how we would’ve gotten an Erika WIN in BB4 if only the houseguests moved in the house in the morning or the season was just 1 dayyy longer!!! 😫😭😅
Would is the wrong word COULD fits way more Robert and Erika are in the same position They both needed to win the two following comps to win Because if erika did win the hoh and sent robert home She could have easily met the same fate as robert in the final 3
The "price is right" rule is infuriating. It just doesn't make any sense in this context. Plus, when both contestants go over, they just award the win to the closest player anyway rather than replaying. Why do we see "price is right" everywhere in American culture?
And then Ivette picked Maggie to be final 2 with her because she hated Janelle so much... Forgetting that the majority of the jury was their allies. And that led to Maggie winning, because everyone in the house saw Maggie as the mastermind of the alliance and Ivette just doing Maggie's dirty work. Had Ivette taken Janelle, Ivette would have won the season. It was a $450k mistake.
I feel like I’m slightly above average when it comes to mental math, but that completely goes out the window when I HAVE to be fast. I actually attempted to figure out the Bowie vs Felicia tiebreaker in real time and I also thought it would be roughly 50,000
Sadly me and my mom missed because we had internet for Bowie Jane and Felicia tie breaker! However when I told my mom she said this! 27 No Your Lying! OMG She Actually Put That! No Change Bowie Keep Your Mistakes!
Alrighty so HERE'S a way to potentially 'cheat' during a tie breaker challenge. Put a ' - ' at the start of your answer. You can argue that it's either a dash OR a negative sign. Let's suppose it's a 1v1, and the answer is 400. You write down '-600' (thinking the answer is positive 600). Your opponent writes down '500'. Since you're both over, your opponent would win. However, you could potentially argue that you meant NEGATIVE 600, meaning you would be the rightful winner. You can also simply argue that it's a bullet point in the event you're under the answer.
not sure how production would respond to that. they might say negative numbers are invalid answers. if not, they would probably make it a rule from then onwards the number has to be above zero
@@staceynainlab888I think that since all numbers have been positive that it's probably in the rule packets they send them. There're lots of rules that we, the viewers, don't know about. Including rules that have changed over time. Stuff that was explicitly or tacitly allowed in the past is now explicitly forbidden. But we, the viewers, aren't notified of rules/changes unless a houseguest blatantly breaks a rule and has to be expelled/given a penalty vote due to breaking the rules.
i can’t judge any answers cause if you asked me to tell you what was wrong with bowie jane and felicia’s answers, i wouldn’t be able to tell you😂 i’m not the best with numbers
I feel like it’ll just be faster this way. It’s obvious if somebody is 3 over, but if we have somebody 500 under and another person 499 over they’ll have to waste time checking the winner
Because I try not to make content that says “wow look how stupid these people are” - but when making a video about ridiculous answers, i felt it might have come across that way, so putting a little disclaimer in there made me feel better about it
This might sound weird but this was the exact video I’ve been looking/waiting for. It’s been months but I’ve been fascinated by the history of tiebreaker questions in BB so thank you for making this video
Felicia beginning her math with 60x60 is weird. she was trying to calculate minutes in a week. 60x60 is the logical place to start if you're trying to calculate seconds, it gives you the number of seconds in an hour. she either had a brainfart and thought they were calculating seconds or had a brainfart and thought there were 60 hours in a day. the way to calculate minutes in a week is 60 minutes times 24 hours times 7 days, and then subtract an hour or two so you don't go over
She actually said on the feeds that she misheard and thought they were asking for seconds and not minutes. It’s hilarious knowing both Felicia and Bowie misunderstood the question but in extremely opposite ways
Oh My Goodness! I am seriously obsessed with your videos!! So fun! I laughed so much! These are some amazingly terrible memories for many of these houseguests! 🤣🤣🫶🏼
