Big Brother Production is absolutely cruel and ridiculous to have a twist that cancels the eviction from the pressure cooker HOH. For Cameron to have held onto his button for 13 hours just to have your week as HOH erased??? If that happened to me I would’ve thrown a Chima
He’s so dumb. I wanted to like him so bad but the fact he feels he needs to earn the alliances trust??? If I was just unanimously voted out would you expect me to believe that I’m important to the alliance???
I'd be interested in a video on the history of alcohol on Big Brother. You could go over the varying rules productions had on drinking (I know it's stricter now than it used to be, but I don't know the specifics), along with significant moments caused by alcohol (stealing wine on BB15, Alyssa revealing info to Kyle on BB24, etc).
Canadian fans of Big Brother can back this fact up; Canada get's a little more liquor. I think it's funny how the cast members think a 6 pack and a bottle of wine is not enough liquor and how gracious they are when somebody gives up their share for the others. Noteworthy moments; Big Brother 24 when Alyssa drank the wine and began twerking and dancing and Indy was like "hey where'd the wine go?" lmao. We had Winegate but Muffingate was more epic. Anyway, BB Canada had Gary, Talla and Danielle sneak away from the house and drink the hard liquor bottle to themselves which angered the others lmao. The following season had Arlie and Allison have a secret liquor party they had to lie about so the house could win a prize; they were so sloshed and had to maintain, which they did. It was hilarious and likely something they wouldn't do again.

12:47 This is where I have to disagree. If Paloma hadn’t quit, either she or Alyssa would’ve had to face Taylor in the Bye Bye Backstage comp, since Brittany was saved by America’s vote. We saw Taylor beat Alyssa when that comp became part 1 of the next HoH comp, and I think there’s a strong probability that she beats Paloma as well. If anything, the most impact this cancellation had was that it narrowed down who could become HoH the following week, since only half the eligible players ended up doing the pie eating comp.
A problem I have is why didn't this happen with Cody's HOH in BB19? One of his nominees left, so by that logic, his eviction should have been cancelled. Look at BB24. Paloma was technically a nominee due to the Backstage twist. And once she walked, the eviction was cancelled. It didn't happen with Frank when Willie got expelled because he was expelled before nominations were made. So since Megan walked, his HOH should have been cancelled as opposed to him having to nominate 1/3 of the house.
My best guess is that because it was week one, and the Den of Temptation was weekly and required time for the viewers to vote, and because of the Golden Apple keeping Josh safe for the week, it would have probably been easier for production to simply have Cody name a new nominee than to redo the week.
I’m a little surprised BBCAN8 wasn’t mentioned since they had one of the most unusual eviction cancellations prior to the whole season get cancelled the following week
Imagine if in bb19 the first week was cancelled the same way it was with chima when Megan left. Cody wouldn't have revealed that he hated Paul and Cody and Jessica wouldn't be target no 1 at the very beginning.
And Josh, the Public Enemy # 1 during Week 1 until the veto ceremony, would've likely been out Week 1 instead of the winner of the season presuming the golden apple immunity was no longer valid.
Fun fact: that week in BB11 was going to feature a Double Eviction at the end of the week, so we would have gone from F8 to F6 by that point anyway. However, with everything that happened, it felt more like the original Double Eviction where the next houseguest would be evicted 2 days after the HOH, then another would be evicted by the next Thursday, or about 5 days later. This is why BB11 didn't have a Double Eviction like we're used to seeing.
I'm so glad I found your channel! You're bb videos are amazing. This was a video I knew was coming from you after Jag's not elimination! Thanks for making amazing BB content
I guessed that one of the "open-minded" cancelled evictions might have been in Season 9 when the pairing of Allison and Ryan were voted out over Sheila and Adam, but on their way toward the door Julie said NOT SO FAST, and instead initiated a second vote between just Allison and Ryan, with Ryan saved and Allison being the only one evicted.
I thought about including it, but it felt weird as instead of a canceled eviction it was like an extra eviction. But it totally could have been included
1. When the reset button is used without it being known that it’s a reset button, it can be more interesting than when they know. 2. Of the seasons I have watched where the eviction was cancelled, those weeks weren’t cancelled - while the game could be considered wasted, the social interactions through those weeks had an important impact on the weeks that followed - Taylor is probably the biggest, easiest example as a lot of the buildup of the hatred towards her in the house that made her an early target started that week. Cameron’s week as HOH was another example, given how he immediately became target number 1 after, and even though Jag is back on the block, Cameron might lose his last ally tonight - making the target on Cameron’s back larger.
Yeah, but you would probably be mad if you won a 14-hour long grueling competition and get it thrown away by some BS power. I don't know why the producers chose to do it on the week of the pressure cooker challenge, a competition that people wanted back for years just for it to be essentially thrown away. I have a strong suspicion that the producers threw in the power to get back on schedule because of Luke's expulsion.

In bb19 that was so amusing. Cause Jessica tried to warn Paul personally that by targeting them that week it would completely waste his hoh. Paul’s ego again got the best of him
For the next round of comps following China’s expulsion, the golf prize-punishment HOH was the planned veto comp for the first double eviction. In addition to being a typical veto comp, the practice version of the upcoming veto involved min-golf. Also, during the live veto comp next round, Julie actually flubbed by calling it the HOH comp. While the “veto” comp during Chima was the one officially cancelled, the actual removed comp was the planned double eviction. Based on patterns, my best guess on what comp would have been is likely the ball pit comp. In addition to being used for the double eviction last season, it was a staple and typical (season 15 used it as the HOH) double eviction veto comp through season 19). (Note: out of cosmic humor, I’ll say Jeff would have gone to win that comp (only to lose it they way he did 2 seasons later))

What about Ryan in season 9 😳
I loved that Frankie got his karma
Bb25 is such a weird season so far. Jag's "fake eviction" felt like a week of thr game tempting something shocking happen, but no one actually does the big move.
I think it was honestly just more about that one Luke guy being expelled, so they can get back on track of when the season was gonna end from the start.
@@abscinding 5 of the 6 seasons with cancelled evictions had an expulsion or quit at some point before the cancelled eviction.
@@abscinding Could've been because of luke, could've also been genually planed, doesn't change how fucking weird that week was.
