🇨🇴🇨🇴 Hello, I love that you show in your videos how beautiful Medellín is, its nature, its mountains, its food and all the things you have to do. I recommend that you go to Arvi Park to the viewpoints in the mountains.🇨🇴🇨🇴
Hi, I'm colombian from Medellin, thanks for exploring our beautiful city, Colombia is really a very exciting place to visit, the flora, fauna and scenery are spectacular, Colombia is safer now so don't be afraid to visit, great video, greetings from USA 🇺🇸🙏🇨🇴
I just want to say, I just watched a vlog of a girl who went to Medellin and in my opinion, was very disrespectful and I'm so grateful that your video was the complete opposite. You were so respectful of Colombia and the culture, this was a beautiful vlog! I absolutely love Medellin and I'm so glad you had an amazing time!! 🇨🇴💛
I think I would not be able to thank you enough for all the precious advises you gave us. it is an amazing and qualitative job you have done for us. All the places you have shared with us seem incredible. they are tailor-made for me particularly the restaurants and cultural sites. You deserve one more subscriber. would love to be in touch for any additional questions. All the best for you.

I went to Medellin with my boyfriend's family who were from Colombia. It was so beautiful and enchanting. People were super nice and filled with lots of culture. I watched you your video prior to my trip since I'd never travelled before and was super excited. Having since gone, I think you did a great job with your tips and explanations in this video. I'm excited to go again and look forward to seeing you post other travel videos bc you are an open minded respectful traveler!
Thank you for sharing such an amazing tour of Medellin, Wu! I will be visiting Medellin from the states in 2 weeks, and I am so much more excited after seeing your video!
You are missing a visit to the beautiful El Castillo museum with interesting history about Medellin settled on a hill with fountains and flowers and a great view of the city. It resembles a french castle with an important collection of paintings, glassware, furniture. Don't miss it
We did the walking tour you put a link to and it was really good. I love videos that give information that you can then do the activity so thanks for including the link.
This was such a great showcase of the city! 🤩Thank you for so carefully documenting your experience. You've inspired me to do many of these same activities. I'll be visiting Colombia in July for my cousin's wedding. 🇨🇴💛 Can't wait! :)
Wow your comment means so much to me. Motivates me to travel more and see more of the world so I can come back and share it here! Thank you and have the BEST time in Colombia!
This is such a great video! I am headed there at the end of March and am sooo excited. Great editing skills too and love your attitude and appreciation for culture ❤
Nice video, thanks for showing a different side of Colombia. I´m from Medellín, with a couple of friends, we are doing expeditions to different places in Colombia, mainly to remote areas, accessible by 4x4. For example, one of them, is in Magdalena Medio (Puerto Triunfo) 4 hours from Medellin. The trip usually takes 3 days, we have different experiences: freeing little turtles a the river, have lunch by the river, get to visit 2 waterfalls and do a cool rafting in Río Claro, these are really beautiful places. If you are planning to visit Medellín or Colombia soon, let us know, we would like to show you some of these places. Thanks again, for the video
Hey there! Just wanted to say Thank you for the 3 great videos you did of Colombia.. We are looking at exploring Colombia next year as a possible place to retire to. Cartagena and Medellin are definitely on our radar. Fabulous insights!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful and informational video! It looks you guys had a great time, you really did Medellín right! Definitely taking notes for my trip!
WOW.... subscribed immediately after seeing your video, you did a great job, I love how you enjoyed the coffee tour, and BTW thanks for the information about the coffee tour with Laura...will be a great sorprise for my daughter who loves coffee.
I loveee your vlogs lol. Thanks for being so informative and thorough. I didn’t expect you to include the Airbnb experience links but I’m soooo glad you did. New subscriberrrr 😂🎉
Nice video. I'm traveling to Colombia in February and landing in Medellin. I booked the flight because it was super cheap so I didn't really research "the situation" in the country, specifically Medellin. But recently there was an American who was kidnapped, held for ransom, and murdered, and there's been a spate of robberies and other violent crimes against tourists in Medellin. After watching a few UA-cam videos from other travel vloggers I started to feel as though maybe I should skip the city altogether, maybe head to the small town of Jardin a couple of hours south as soon as I get there. Your video was refreshing in that you only focused on the positive. But I wonder if you ever felt insecure wandering the streets there and what precautions, if any, you took. Thank you for taking us along your explorations of Medellin. Glad you folks had a lovely time and were safe . . .
I’ve been binge watching your videos literally, being a Colombian native this video makes me so proud!!! I’ll be there in December to visit family 🥰 excited to vlog it !
Thank you soooo much for sharing this experience and all of your links. We are planning a trip to Medellin for a destination wedding in March, and I have been stressing about where to start. Most channels share very general info about what to see or do but doesn't really show how they got there and their experience. This is going to be very helpful as we plan out our itinerary. Thank you!
even just the intro had me in my feels xx loved this video! ive been binge watchin Medellin travel vids cuz im moing there in Sept. and yours hit different! loved it, keep it up xx
oh no keep your job haha. I'm from Colombia. There are great things but we need to improve a lot others. If you wish to move there for retirement, there may be cool options
Just found out about your channel and I simply loved the way you portrait your adventures. I’ve been wanting so bad to go to Medellin and now you inspired me to actually do it. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, I’ll definitely subscribe and stick around to see more of your videos! ❤
I really like how you edited this! Wow! Taking notes for myself as I build my channel. Thanks for sharing your experience - after living in Medellin for two years you definitely got a good taste of the city. I liked your inclusion of the prices in the video. 😄you definitely got a subscribe from me! excited to see more of your travels.
Going to Medellin in a little over a month and am excited but nervous! Your videos have been so informative and make me all the more excited. Did you get any specific vaccines for Medellin and Guatape, like yellow fever or typhoid?
Coming from Detroit or Chicago, I have not seen a safety issue here to hide my iPhone and use something alternative. The taxis and Ubers here are way safer than the rides we have in US.
Medellin is the best city in the world, considering its geography and its development. There's no other place on Earth, where 12 months a year, the weather is the same, never cold (to wear more than a t-shirt) and never very hot(31,32 degrees are rare). That's because it lies close to equator and it's placed at elevation of 1500m, it's a perfect mix. The city has 2.5 millions citizens, all facilities, very developed, clean, good infrastructure, many beautiful girls/women.
Awesome video! I’m planning on traveling there in the summer (even though I still need a travel buddy). Would you talk about the language barrier? I know enough Spanish to get by, but just wondering about your experience. 😊
So excited for you! If you know enough Spanish to get by then you’ll be totally fine. Most restaurants we went to there was someone who knew English if they couldn’t understand my Spanish. In the end there is always Google translate too :) Have so much fun!!
For the general vacationer who does not travel much - is Colombia safe? I'm not the overly adventurous type who will go to places that will put me in direct risks but I also am not judgmental if - for example, I was walking past a slum area. I am seriously thinking of visiting Colombia but many have told me maybe to give Mexico a try before going further south.
Hi Steven! Yes I’d say it’s safe. You have to be cautious of not having flashy things out and being aware of your surroundings at night, but I would not miss seeing Colombia just because of what people say. I was scared before going there but so so glad I went!
Be aware of your surroundings/belongings, use Ubers/Didi at night avoiding taxis, and never walk through deserted streets, and you’ll be fine. I was there for 4 weeks recently and nothing happened to me with the aforementioned precautions.
Hi, arriving in medellin soon, i just want to ask in which area of Medellin airport is the pick up area of Uber and how much did you pay to el poblado?
When you arrive to Medellin airport that is almost 30 minutos from Medellin, you just go outside, you can find a buses to el poblado between $3-$5, or you can take a taxi $15-$20.
I filmed mainly when I was on tours! It feels safer when you’re with a group of people, especially when the guide is local and he/she is looking out for you. I also filmed when I was in neighborhoods like El Poblado where it is a tiny bit safer, so I’d take out my phone very briefly to get footage in the daytime and then put it away
I never ended up using one! I was just extra cautious with my own phone and I only took it out when I was in a restaurant or not too much out in public. I also took a lot of guided tours and I felt comfortable filming during the tours
