GW designer nailed the floating armor design, modifying it to have ultra bright white led is gonna make it better
My first thought when I saw the first reveal was if it was possible to paint the inside bright whites and ivory and put blue led in him. Looks like its very possible

Long spears and pointy bits = breakage. All my old high elves are in shambles because of this exact reason. I like the Light of Eltharion though. I like the idea
I had the idea to carefully fill it with luminescent blue resin to give an ethereal glow. Like thin though, not cylinders, more like strands
What an ambitious, beautiful sculpt.
Still my favorite Lumineth mini.

I was talking to my wife earlier about making a UA-cam Channel dedicated to Miniatures. I just recently purchased my first Warhammer 40K figure as I am looking to get into it and maybe AoS, but I mainly play X-Wing, and Star War: Legion by Fantasy Flight Games. I gave her the details of the types of videos I wanted to make, with unboxings, assemblies, paint jobs, army showcases, etc, and just talk about miniatures. I just came across your channel a couple hours ago and see you already did it though. lol Awesome channel and I subscribed! Hopefully you see me out there too!

Can't wait to build, paint and display him. Don't really have any need/desire for an AoS army.
i've not started mine yet. Still got lots of mortal realms and space wolves to do first. ^-^ It's probably going be sitting on my shelf for a while but it's going be a nice project to do!
Would be cool if they were to bring back legion of the damned in 40k and did them like this, would have also been an interesting way of doing rubrics
I love this guy, and I don't believe he's overpowered because you PAY out the nose for all that power at 220pts.
I confess as a high elf fan I find this eltharion quite static and ugly... better than the new Teclis obviously, but I mean it doesn't take much to do better than that. Plus the point of eltharion is stormwing isn't it? And considering Stormwing, what do those disproportionate fishy wings on his helmet got to do with gryphons? I mean really GW s***d the high elves up big time this round, after the great job they did with night goblins I did not see this coming.
