Discovered you guys by accident a few weeks ago, love it. Actually really look forward to each episode now. Have even binge watched on a few occasions. I’ve seen a lot of Ireland, but you have shown there is so much to see. Sublime👍
Hello Melvin, This is so nice to hear. Glad we have a little back log of videos for you to binge now, haha. Ireland is incredible, we havent even nearly left yet and we are already planning our return.
If you go near Braemar again, overnight at the Linn of Quoich. It costs £3 for the night. We were the only van there and the walks were amazing, with waterfalls and great swimming spots.
I really enjoyed ‘my’ trip up Loch na gar with you, such bleak beauty and wild winds. The autumnal colours are fabulous. I can just imagine my ancestors using that lichen and the plants around to dye cloth for clothes. Well done for getting to the top in reasonable time while keeping a weather eye out. My legs are aching just from watching the ascent up those unrelenting stone steps. Ouch! Makes me feel like I need a hot chocolate to warm up after that walk, which is quite ridiculous as it’s 27 degrees here, 8.30pm Andalusia Spain, and I have the windows open to let a cooling breeze in 😆
Haha, Jackie i love seeing you pop up on our old videos. I guess its nice to think cold thoughts in the heat wave, although please resist the urge to drink a hot chocolate!
Great film guys. Tom your editing is excellent. You see so much more of Scotland with all the walking and exploring but I think I will stick to exploring on my motorbike as it’s the riding that I love. One thing I do do really like and think is very charming is Issys purposeful walking style. I love your loose arm swings. Anyone who knows you would know it was you walking towards them from a long way off. 👍🏻😘🙂.
Another great vlog. Keep on keeping it real :-) Consider Scandinavia at some point too (preferably Summer time) but it's a great place for van living too.
You’re video’s have kept my spirits up while my van is being repaired. I’ve been off the road since the end of September. The van will be finished next week and I’m thinking of taking my first ever Scotland trip in the new year. Where would you recommend for a first trip and how did you cope with the midge’s. I’ve watched other channels and they’ve all said they are a nightmare in Scotland. It doesn’t look like you two had much bother with them. Thanks
The midges were not an issue for us and wouldn't be in January either. It's only in summer really. January will be cold in Scotland and will be short days, so be prepared! I (Tom) love the Cairngorms so much, there is loads to see although you may need to work around a few of the roads being closed for snow. Skye is a must at some point but not sure how that would be in winter it was pretty wild when we did it back in October. If you make it up for Hogmanay head to the Clachlaig, I had a blast there a couple years back.
Isabel works for a help line, providing information for colleagues via teams, I'm spending most of the time she is working doing the Instagram and editing the vlogs (I guess that's kinda classes as unpaid work, haha)
Loved this video! Really liked the music and hiking video shots you got. Those were insane winds!!

"Izzy finally made it across and while I was waiting, I ate this whole dear" LOL
I’m on the road for work - and watching your adventures is such a treat! Thx you two.
This makes me happy, glad we could provide a treat for you

That was amazing! 💚
Thank you!
Glad to see you found snow in the end!! Even if you battled every other weather condition to get there 🤣
What an awesome hike you have done, it tired us out just watching you
One of my all time favourites!
Great stuff guys! You captured some wonderful scenery. Your vlog title says it, there's much more to vanlife Scotland than the NC500.
Yeah there really is Scotland has blown us away! Thanks for watching

Hahaha, that is so funny, Isabel does have a very goofy walk. Thanks for all the nice comments about the editing 😊
We are both cracking up thinking about her walking 😆

any plans for more than 1 video a week?
No plans for that yet, haha, I will need to get a bit quicker at editing I think

where is the cairn 6, is it a pyramid? 10:45
💚
Is the walking website you use called walk islands ?
It is www.walkhighlands.co.uk
It is really good, all the walks are rated on difficulty and there is a bit of blurb about the walk and detailed directions! Highly recommended
@@LostInTransit great stuff just watching you guys in Skye , love it 😍 & thank you 🙏
