Welcome back to our third and final instalment of our epic NC500 road trip series in Scotland. Last week we travelled across the North coast and found some truly spectacular beaches - scenes that we never knew even existed in the UK!
If you haven’t seen them yet, you can find part 1 & 2 of our big Scotland adventure here:
Scotland’s NC500 in a Campervan | The UK’s Most EPIC Road Trip?
This is NOT What We Expected From Scotland | NC500 Roadtrip
In this week’s episode we’re working our way down the east coast of the Scottish Highlands and hit up Whaligoe Steps, Brora Distillery, Fairy Glen Falls and Rosemarkie Beach.
We find lots more incredible park ups and rather unexpectedly wake up to snow falling all around us! We really have experienced all four seasons of weather on this trip. Such a contrast to last week's video when we were playing on the beach in t-shirts!
Let us know in the comments what your favourite bit of this NC500 section is & if you’re new around here be sure to hit subscribe so you don’t miss the next episodes.
We’ve had such an incredible time over the last 10 days and made memories that will last a lifetime. And if the NC500 is in your bucket list, get off your bum and make it happen.
Catch you down below,
Sarah, James & Ady

Well what's not to like about Scotland. Wonderful scenery, every kind of weather whiskey and frozen pizza. A fabulous trip people ❤
Yes Scotland is just amazing, we love it so much and it’s one of the few places we really enjoy going back to again and again ❤️
4 seasons in the NC500 road, the little Ady is living all the seasons in a couple of days.
Greetings Sarah & James.
It’s just crazy, snow then bright sunshine then back to snow 😀 Hope you’re well ❤️

Lots to be said for missing that fifth one, the midge season!!! That was you passing down through my father's family territory (Invergordon, Dornoch, Alness) and places I grew up visiting every summer. I haven't done the Whaligoe steps since that childhood - half a century plus. Couldn't do it now. Thanks for making that effort and bringing back memories, Sarah. So glad you had such a wonderful trip - even in rotten weather it is still a Bonny Land 😃Hugs all round, YAM xx (who will finally be collecting her van next week!!!)
We’ve been in Scotland during midge season before when we walked the West Highland Way and it was not fun, very glad we missed them this time. What a lovely place to spend your summers growing up ☺️ You must have the most incredible memories. Wohoooo! So excited for you! You must send us some pics on Insta when you pick it up, would love to see it 😀❤️
Wow Scotland 🏴 looks amazing.
Your dinners looked as good as the scenery! Nice video guys, thanks
Thank you ☺️❤️
Great video, thanks for sharing. We did most of the NC500 & more as well. 2100 miles from Devon back in May. The scenery is stunning, just goes on forever! We want to return sometime & spend more time especially in Wester Ross, which to us, was the most scenic.
Chanory point is just down the road from where i live , dont be decieved by the no van signs as its not a council issued sign so you can park but not overnight , you have to go round the corner on the beach to see the dolphins , so if.your up again keep that in mind great video and thanks for the entertainment
That’s really interesting, it seems that’s quite a common thing to do now and sadly it still creates the overall impression that you’re just not welcome in a van whether it’s legally enforceable or not. We’ll remember that for if we do go back that way again! Would love to spot some dolphins 😀
@TheWholeWorldorNothing feel free to get intouch will take you all down there no problems
What a great series and watch this has been. Thank-you
Thank you, so happy you enjoyed it 😀❤️
Great video, such pretty places.
I love a Johnny Walker.
Magical experience! 🎉
Please come back again and visit Glen Etive (drive to end at loch) for the deer, the beaches on Harris (ferry required) on the west coast, Dunrobin Castle (go to the falconry display) in Golspie and Embo beach both on the east coast amongst your destinations xx 😊
The only whisky we could offer you in Morocco is a sweet mint tea 😂😂
And still delicious 😀🙌👍
Loved this series. Where next? Won't be long before you are all taking a bike ride together. X
We’re still in the planning stages at the moment but we’ve got some really exciting stuff lined up! Can’t wait until we’re all on our bikes together ☺️❤️
hi there go to Islay the wisky iles there are 9 yes 9 distillerys
We’d love to go there! Also love the smoky peated style it’s famous for so definitely one for a future Scotland trip 😀
Hi what books or websites did you use to plan your route/trip - love your videos ❤
❤
Next year I will visit Scotland or maybe in August because the weather is nice I think??
August is definitely a good month to go 🙌
Visiting in May is hard to beat too ❤
