This is exactly what I'll be doing with my Scout. I'm in the Southern San Joaquin Valley so I can go 20 minutes in the air any direction and camp on a small mountain top. You look like you have a fun group of guys here and what a great time!
Hey! YES do it! It is the best feeling to top landing, make a fire or just chill there and sleep under the stars. Then the early morning take off and then the whole day before you! Indescribable!!!
We have just finished similar trip a last week. New video coming soon. Sign up for the next trip here www.scoutparamotor.com/paramotor-adventures/crossing-slovakia/
Harry Knight we did not carry much, only the mat, sleeping bag, some food and few beers... You can strap your gear to the frame at the bottom. The other option is carry a backpack on your chest in front. It's manageable
Your best investment in paramotoring is not the glider and not the paramotor. Take good training first! Its better to save on equipment than your skills. Anyway, every single minute you spend in the air will be well worth it. For the rest of your life. ANOTHER CONVERT FROM THE HOLY CHURCH OF TUCKER, HAS A QUESTION.....DO THEY EVEN MAKE ONE THAT IS QUIET LIKE A CAR, I WANNA DO THIS, BUT AS A CLASSICAL MUSICIAN I MUST ALSO SAVE WHAT LITTLE IS LEFT OF MY EARS..........DO YOU GUYS GET YOUR EARS FRIED EVERY TIME YOU DO THIS, OR WHAT ?
Paramotoring is a motorsport, noise is included in the package. Unfortunately there is no way to make it quiet. Most of the noise comes from the propeller thus even electric engine would help very little. We use earcups to reduce noise and it works pretty good. Paragliding without motor is a option. It is just a very different type of flying and hard to compare to paramotors. Those are two VERY different categories. We love paragliding just as much paramotoring and both have different thrills.
Sure is burning an excess amount of oil. So much for the fresh clean air in Slovakia. Not a very complimentary video for the Scout or for Paramotoring, as the video gives the impression it's a nauseating Air Polluting practice.
Beyond AWESOME! This is what paramotoring is! This video defines the paramotor dream!
We see it the same way :)
Wow! Great video and an awesome adventure! 👍
Thanks! Next time you can join us! :P

that is smoke system installed, not a standard flight mode. it works for few seconds only. And yes, it is just for the effect.
Why did you put it in front of the prop? doesn't that disperse the smoke?
A small battery-driven pump injects oil into the hot exhaust.
Oh fuck off. You drive, eat meat and catch public transport??.... or consume anything made of plastic?
Self-righteous twat.
