holy crap i thought this channel would have thousands of followers this literally inspired me to work on my first chapter for my webtoon 🥺🥺🥺 ur so underrated 💗💗💗💗
@@nassera8550 im still working on it 😧 i decided to practice my art skills first and do sketches on my character designs! ill let you know when it’s out on webtoon though :3 ‘ - some story line will be about princes and ballet so yeah!
This was literally the most straightforward “how I make a webtoon” video I have ever seen and got me SO PUMPED to make my own even though I’m busy with college and currently down sick. I’m subscribing!! You’re little avatar is so cute and your voice is so nice! I may even join the discord when I wake up in the morning since it’s late ^_^;
This is better than my method of making comics. First, I make pages of a chapter with just dialogues and squares; then, I sketch every page; at the end, I do the lineart and add color. Thanks for the advice!
I do this as well and I find the other method here wy more complicated and takes longer. To have an own folder for each panel is to me way too much. Drawing the panels with a square tool, filling the background on a layer under the lines (so you can draw easily on it as well for gradients) and doing it the "oldschool" way is to me way faster and less complicated especially if you switch programs for shading or effects (like I use paint tool sai since shading is 3 times faster there). So I would not say it is a better or worse method. But just for some faster and less complicated, but for other's the opposite. Like I think I need just 1 layer for lines, 1 for background, 2 semi panel background, 3 flat, 4 shading, 5 highlights. that is 5 layers in totel that is enough to me hahaha
It's actually really relieving to see another artist that can't/doesn't take an hour to do the entire project 😂 I've always felt like I wasn't cut out for art because I spend a while on every piece I do
You are the first person I have found that actually shows how to make and format the comic. Too many "tutorials" focus on the storytelling aspects, which I know down pat because I've been writing stories since I was 7, but actually making a comic, no one says anything. Thank you so much for showing me the things I actually want/need to know. :)
0:40 Saw "Created by Cecília Gulyás" and automatically went into this tutorial with more interest, as I am a fellow hungarian trying to start his comic. Köszönöm hogy megmutattad hogyan csinálod a te képregényedet!
I just checked your comic on webtoon and subscribed already. I just don't get it why you haven't gotten featured yet, your art work is so freaking good! I don't know about the storyline cause I literally just found this story through your UA-cam channel, but I'm pretty sure your writing is dope as well. But seriously, how come a series so popular as yours isn't featured yet? You have already millions of views and thousands of subscribers on Webtoon , and the art, I said it already, it's cute as hell! It's hard to believe it's still in the canvas section.
you're very inspiring 🥺 working on my first webtoon last week but i got so tired so i've been resting for a week lmao but now thanks to you i feel like doing it again this is really so much hard work.
It's very helpful, I'm a signed author in one of digital reading publisher but now I am planning to switch as a comic artist, since I can do a little bit drawing (but still need a lot of practice).
I really appreciate seeing your process! I think the thing I appreciate the most is that you include your opinions on what you find most appealing, but don't make any demands for anyone else to do them because "x" reason. All webcomics are different and the way they're processed is different, and you explicitly say that yourself, which I enjoy heavily. Thank you for your wonderful tips / explanations, I feel more confident in being able to work on my own comic! :)
I don't know why, but listening to your videos is always so relaxing and wholesome ^^ Also: your moral support team is always ready to cheer you up 💪XD
I love reading your comic and this vid just came up on my recommendeds!!! Instant sub. Your comic always brightens my mornings on my way to my classes! You seriously are one of my favorite comic artists. You can’t imagine how excited I was when I just stumbled upon your channel! Keep up the good work!!!!
I think I'm going to study your video because it seems the most straightforward, and your creation process is very similar to mine. Time to start moving from Sai to clip! Thanks for posting this!
Soooo helpful😭!! I've been looking for webtoon tutorials all day to better my comic and through all that looking, this is the best one by far 😣! thank you so much for sharing
Has your series been featured yet?! Looks really REALLY good! Like it would be a Disney channel cartoon from my childhood.. I'm gonna check the story out!
Thank you for doing this video, I try one comic in webtoon, but i felt its getting more and more difficult when drawing an episode of comic. When I see how you describe in your video process seems more in an ease, you got lots off useful tip which I would not think of. Please keep sharing more.
Reading as you go along designing this chapter, this comic looks so wholesome and lighthearted! I love those kinds of webtoons way more than the angsty romance and drama types. now I need to go on the app and follow it there
Am I the only have who have a whole story in my head and doesn't need to write it down? Ps...the plot is consistent and also makes sense😂😂😂... I think I have a great imagination🤣🤣
gave me a picture on how the web comic industry is actually made by a person :* sounds tough ngl but guess I can't just turn back on my dreams just because of my inexperience lol. Clearly this channel deserves more appreciation and notice! Cheers, you're awesome!
I started a bnha villain deku fancomic last summer and i was still new to webtoon, so i didn't have much of an idea how to make comics properly. this offered quite a lot of advice that I needed!!! Thank you for the help, also you gained a new subscriber ^^
...this is beautiful! Thank you! I'm really trying to get into art full time, but with school, it's not ideal. At least I can use this for reference in the future.❤️
Great Work. I was just thinking about creating my webtoon This video is giving a lot of knowledge to those who are just starting out. Thank you for sharing this in depth guide of how to with us.
This is good advice! One day in the future I’ll use your advice and tricks to make my webtoon comic too ☺️ also you’re underrated im surprised you only have 900+ subscribers 😮😮
wow this video is kinda really motivating. it's been more than 6yrs the last time I drew comics.. and I think it might be the right time to pursue again something that I love doing before. I hope I still got my touch 😅🤣
Finally, someone who is not talking like a sexual rabbit to get views but someone who actually understands with experience of making webcomics, by the way, love your drawing style and colors you use they are very fresh looks fabulous.
I just finished with the character designs for my first webtoon cuz I wanted to try it out but my biggest problem (as a person who tends to only sketch and draw with black) is that I have NO idea how to find a coloring scheme fitting to the style & characters I have it’s so frustrating
Dude. You gotta batch--I hope you're like, thumbnailing a bunch of pages and then inking and then coloring, etc, in groups. My downfall has been--I've been trying to find a more efficient way to color--and in the meantime, my lineworks are piling up >.
My process is stupid and takes longer than it should: i draw the thumbnails & first rough sketch in my sketchbook, then another rough sketch digitally, then a cleanup sketch, lineart, coloring, and finnaly shading. I know it sounds like it takes a while but it takes me 3-4 days to finish most pages. (Changed it to most)
Finnaly changed the process its; first scripting, then thumbnails, a rough sketch, clean up sketch, lineart, coloring, and shading. I didnt script things before, idk why
I have very little drawing experience so I focus on comic/manga writing and well... script writing is very hard especially trying to focus on doing it.
I'm getting ready to start a graphic novel. It's really nice seeing how people work. How many days do you spend working on a webcomics per week vs. how many days worth of posts/pages do you get?
3:55 canvas size
12:30 website to crop
(Don't mind me, just taking notes)
Don't mind me just reading the notes you took😏
Seeing your process is just so **chef kiss**
Mama miaa
WAIT I REMEMBER SEEING YOU FROM TALART'S LIVE TODAY-
Your too pure for this world
The world is too cruel and it's rare to find people like this.
holy crap i thought this channel would have thousands of followers this literally inspired me to work on my first chapter for my webtoon 🥺🥺🥺 ur so underrated 💗💗💗💗
You made me check the sub count and I was shocked to see a 3 digit number 😳😳
:D whats your webtoon called ^_^?
