What would it take for you to jump from a perpectly good airplane?
Thank you so much for choosing me to guide you through the skydiving journey and for taking the time to build that fantastic video.
I appreciate the time you spent showing how things work from a student's point of view.
I have no words to thank you for the beautiful tribute at the end of the video.
People like you are the reason I keep skydiving and teaching people how to skydive.
Blue skies my friend.
I had a really good working on it and I'm glad you liked it. Also, looking forward to seeing you soon 😃
This is the best video so far on how it really happens and how people that have never done it don't understand it. Because they really don't unless they experience it for themselves. .
Thank you so much for your comment - I am glad you enjoyed it :D
@LiveToTheFullest question.... I'm doing my AFF now I failed my 1st jump and I need to redo but yes just like you said arch amd relax I had everything correct until go time out the door I slightly froze.. but my Question is what was your 1st jump like to you was it really fast to you or did it feel different?
@@lindzw7765 Everyone has a different journey through AFF so you shouldn’t be discouraged. I personally failed level 2 twice, but the best thing I ever did is to never give up. Once you have that locked into your mind, you will make it through … let me know how the process goes
@LiveToTheFullest I will do!! Thank for your for your input on your experience 👍🏽 🙏🏼 🙂 definitely going back to the tunnel before I jump again. And thank you for being very helpful!!
My pleasure, best of luck. Blue skies 🪂
The scariest part of skydiving is anticipation, and that’s it. Once your out of the plane all that anxiety goes away 😜
Exactly - it's so interesting that there is a concept called "fear of the door" and it took me like 30 jumps to get over it.
How many jumps do you have?
Sometimes you just need to arch and relax.
THIS is why we skydive.
Totally. Yesterday I celebrated one year since I got my licence and it's has been an incredible jurney. Do you jump often nowadays?
Very good example of pushing through a difficult challenge. Everything you want but don't have is on the other side of your fears.
And to think that it was just the beginng of an extraordinary jurney.
Beautiful video thanks for sharing. I'm off to do my AFF in two weeks and can't wait! Been dreaming about it for the last year and finally it's happening! Blue skies to you my friend
Oh man, you are going to have an unforgettable experience. Enjoy every single moment of it and let me know how it goes.
How did you do on your AFF?
I’ve been going through AFF a lot longer than I should due to money. This next season I will be licensed, and have saved enough to complete my license, and have more than enough for the next steps!!! Can’t wait to jump again! Thank you for sharing! Blue skies and safe landings homie!!!!
What worked for me after the AFF was to get the FS1 (that's for the British licence), so you can jump with other people and develop your skills withouth having to pay for an instuctor every time. - Thank you for watching the video 🪂
Congratulations Octavian. From America, I hope to someday come across ya, and buy you a jump! May you enjoy a life full of beautiful jumps and blue skies! Thanks for the great video. Makes me remember the same feelings 25 years ago! You're in for one hell of a life with your new extended family!
Thank you so much for your message. Absolutely, the skydiving community is just extraordinary and I had so much fun spending time and jumping with amazing people. Blue skies 🪂
Couldn't agree more with every word!! Congrats on your journey 🎉 I did 2 tandem in the same day and that's when I was sure that I couldn't live without it from that moment on. I'm saving up to start my AFF this year here in Brazil and your story only makes me more excited to do it!! We all have fear but as soon as we jump there is only unfathomable joy ❤
Thank you for your comment. I personally never meet anyone who did 2 tandems in one day - that is impressing. Super happy that you want to continue your jurney and start your AFF.
My instructor - Junior - is actually from Brazil and when you are ready, I can ask him to recommed a good instructor for you
When are you planning to start?
@@LiveToTheFullest what a coincidence 😁 can I reach out to you on instagram?
Absolutely, look for tavi.ung
Sometimes you just need to arch and relax 👌
Hehe, I needed at least 50 jumps to realise what life is all about 🪂
Totally agree with the comment: “This is the best video so far on how it really happens and how people that have never done it don't understand it. Because they really don't unless they experience it for themselves. .” I flipped three times once in my student jumps and couldn't find out the reason cuz I did well last time and arched perfectly this time. almost two weeks later I realized this is because I looked down and haven't looked at the plane after I exited!
Thank you so much for your comment and I'm really happy you enjoyed it.
Have you managed to finalise your AFF?
Congratulations 🪂🪂Awesome video about your journey 😁🪂
Cheers mate - thank you for watching
Well done bro! Junior took good care of you 🎉
Absolutely. If you wanna learn how to skydive, he is the guy to do it with 🪂
Love the edit!! Also fair play, that's not easy at all! Super brave and loved the footage and storytelling 🙌🙌❤❤
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate the encouraging words. :D
Well done man. I’m so happy for you. Welcome to the skydiving family 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 stay safe and blue skies my friend 🙏🏻✈️
Thanks man. Really appreciate it 🪂
Awesome vid.
Thank you - I am glad you liked it :D
Exactly what I want!
Awesome - are you planning your AFF soon?
Very nice video. Very well organized and explains rather nicely the experiences and feelings around skydiving.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Nice video. I really like how you organised the narrative and made the story super engaging
Thanks a ton!
I love how no matter what DZ the canopy training pics are the same PD ones.
I was thinking exact same thing, but that also means not many people have experienced malfunctions, or lived to tell 😅
Congrats! Blue skies and safe jumps!
Thank you mate, you too :D
Wow! Thats awesome. I enjoyed watching your video. Congratulations!
Thank you. Really appreciate it 🤗
Its so true unless you have jumped out of a plane it simply cannot be described, I have only jumped once tandem but cant wait to do it more in the future, I can only imagine jumping solo for the first time would be much like that first tandem jump.
Jumping out of the plane was one of the best things I have ever done in my life as it was my biggest fear of all, now if someone offered me a free jump tomorrow my reply would be where and when lol
her explanation of how her jump went was absolutely brilliant much like your entire video, thank you for the time you took to share it with us!
Thank you so much for your beautiful reply.
Once you get a licence, jumping will be more accessible, you won't have to book anything in advance, just show up at the DropZone and pay like £40 per jump.
Also, I can recommend really good instructors if you are interested.
Blue skies 🪂
@Live To The Fullest thank you so very much for the reply, im over in Australia.
Truth be told i actually love tandem for the fact i can simply enjoy the ride without having to distract myself from the experience by focusing on the height etc.
Like everything theres pros and cons, for now theres more pros for tandem as that kind of letting go of control is like therapy, one day if i find i need more out of it then i will probably get my jump licence, blue skies (one time it would be interesting to dive thru clouds) 💖🙏
@@jamie.miller.inspiring Absolutely
You should do as many tandems as you can. It took me about 8-9 jumps to start enjoying being on my own, but there is something magical about solo jumps as you have a lot of flexibility of movement in the air.
When you do a tandem, you have something called a drag chute which keeps your falling speed stable, but you can't do any tricks in the air.
I also did a few cloud jumps and the first one is super weird. It feels like you are about to hit something 😅 It is soper fun so I would definetly recommend it
@Live To The Fullest you are incredibly inspiring, i can feel the enthusiasm in your replies, thank you so much. I look forward to more videos!
Thank you for saying that. That's why we do what we do - to inspire and challange people to get out of their confort zone and live an extraordinary life. There is another video in production which will be coming soon, so stay tuned 😀
Awesooooome bro! Blue skies my broda!
Thank you. Looking forward to going back to Evora :D
Awesome video, nice cuts and overall story line! I started aff this year and if the weather plays correctly i should have my license in my hands in arround 2 -3 months 🤙🏼
Edit: omg the part of "deep down you hope something happens with plane or thr wind is too hard" bro its exactly the same at some parts for me. I never said it out loud but damn some days i drove to the DZ thinking like "bruh no one holds a gun to your head, do u really like this" and after the plane exit everything is gone and you feel fucking alive 🥹😍
Thank you - really glad you liked it and found it useful 🙌
We all know that feeling when you try to look ok, but you hope something happens and it's not your fault for not jumping 😅
How many jumps do you have left?
Счастливые люди, получают удовольствие от жизни в спокойной стране. Не то что где я живу. 😩
Мне жаль это слышать. Я надеюсь, что скоро все улучшится
Very nice man! This is one of my favourite AFF videos :)
I just finished my level 7 and did 1 console a few weeks ago, and it was such an incredible feeling. I’m trying to go again as soon as I can but *weather* lol.
Great work though! You did Ace :)
Super happy for you. It is an absolutely amazing experience, and I am glad you liked the video. I tried to express as accurately as I possibly could how it feels to go through. Blue skies
@@LiveToTheFullest It is a truly amazing experience. And you did an absolutely fantastic job at describing how it is, I could relate to sooo many points you made in the video. Especially the “this is my final jump then I’m quitting”. Im so glad I didn’t though.
Blue skies :)
@@TheFireGoose Appreciate your comment :D
Sweet Girl at the end...
Definetly, Kelly is the best 😍
Great video!!
Thanks man ☺
Very cool man. Keep going, it only gets better! How many jumps are you up to?
Cheers mate. I am around 50 now. How about you?
much respect sir
Thank you. Have you ever tried skydiving before?
@@LiveToTheFullest hello i dit my first jump in the army static line, now i am 69 years young and I still jumping skydive ,my last jump was last weekkend in Europe grts
Oh wow it is awesome that you are still an active skydiver. I was in Portugal a few weeks ago visiting the DZ. Where do you usually jump?
@@LiveToTheFullest Hello I jump in Schaffen P C V Belguim , we use the D .Z off the Belguim army,
I've actually been in contact with the DZ and they told me Schaffen is operating only during weekends, but the week after next (31/07 - 04/08), they will be open all week and I'm thinking about going. Are you going to join as well?
I used to fly a 79 skydiving and a 240 BASE jumping. I'd do a day of work, landing like a boss. Then go BASE jumping and land like an AFF student.
It still happens to me as well to have a bad landing, even after many more jumps.
Do you BASE often? I want to get into it as well
@Live To The Fullest Well I started BASE jumping in 2007, so it's safe to say I'm not anywhere near as active as I used to be. I still like to get out there though when the itch comes.
@@LiveToTheFullest Dude, I did a tandem once, but I will never base jump for a million dollars
@@brianmills8163 That's why BASE isn't for everyone 😀
@@andycopland3179 Does the itch every go away?
Dude i broke my ankle, people think jumping is thr hard part. It’s actuelly landing and its timing
Definetly, when you are in the sky, everthing is fine. The tricky part is when you get close to the ground.
How is you ankle now?
You don't need to show me this 😁, but it's expensive and I jump 8AFF and 6 solo, to reach A license I need to work something about one year in Poland as a car mechanic. Be safe 🖖
Everyone needs a hobby. If you genually enjoy skydiving, it is totally worth it🪂
@@LiveToTheFullest it's not only one hobby... Cars, bikes, scuba diving, bouldering and normal climbing. I like to try everything and if I like it it's stay in my life. Everything is worth it, until something change. Life is unpredictable. And remember FUCK YOU (main canopy), RESCUE (me reserve)! 👍
@@marcinkiewicz2020 I can totally relate with that :D
how much did you spend bud...class license and chute? great video!
Thank you, really glad you liked it.
I've spent around 2000€ for AFF all levels and 10 consol jumps.
Are you thinking about starting as well? I can recommend a few instructors
@@LiveToTheFullest 5 jumps in! trying to squeeze every cent! I'd like to end up in that pilot seat! Going up!
ty for the quick reply brother Keep pushing
That's great, let me know how your progressing.
Where are you jumping?
Hey Buddy 7:22 that's Akash Malhotra Skydiver from India.
You know my buddy Akash? The skydiving community is really well connected. It seems like everyone knows everyone :D
@@LiveToTheFullest😁😁 Yes it connects everyone around the world no matter where you're from. well i dont know Akash bhaiya personally. But i have seen him a lot on youtube. may be bcz of that reason i able to recognise him only by seeing his flying suits🤣🤣.Well I am very keen to join this fleet soon.
@@shadabakhtar9398 That is awesome man - are you going to start your AFF as well?
@@LiveToTheFullest Actually i am doing something else right now. So once i manage my career in my own choice of feild after that i gonna persue that. But Definately will do this.
@@LiveToTheFullest How many days does it take to complete a AFF or License A Course?? like from Dropzone Thiland , Dropzone Evora etc.
I jump from an Antonov AN-2. Who says it's perfect? :)
anything that flyies above 15k feets would do as long as you don't forget your parachoute 🤣
Blue Skies
Thank you for your comment. Are you actively skydiving?
@@LiveToTheFullest Not currently. Health and money issues. Old as F* but we'll see in the future.
@@tarajoyce3598 I am sorry to hear that. What DZ do you have in your proximity? I might have a contact that could help
@@LiveToTheFullest That is amazing of you!
My physical health won't allow it right now. I do have a home drop zone with an amazing owner if it was only financial. I'm sure I could pack for lifts.
The skydiving community is one of the best. I have found it filled with smart, caring, fun humans who do live life to the fullest.
I hope one day you experience falling into rainbows that cover the top of the clouds for a far as you can see. Magical
Can I kindly ask for your contact details? I would like to check up on you and help werever possible. My name is Octavian btw
Lucky there wasn't a spelling test!
Thank you for your comment. Have you noticed any mistakes?
This video definitely went into a different direction than I was expecting Well done
I am glad you likd it. Thank you
