Woooow this was a pure masterpiece!!! One of the best thing I've watched in a long time! And the jump moment and when Sean let you go, it felt like we were here with you! Much love to you my brother and to the whole Yes Fam ❤️
I know this video is so flipping old, but this man’s story is amazing. He goes from a childhood dream, and makes it reality. He shows up and does the work no matter what he’s going through. Even through hard times like the crash and being scared of the outside world, this man lived through it, and still accomplished his goal. This man is the meaning of life, and you only live once, so live you life to the fullest.
@@raulcastillo9600 Yes but to editing the music into this and having Ammar's back story, made THIS,so different, specially with Ammar never having the HALO experience!
I mean, this guy was doing the same insane H.A.L.O jump and still getting these badass shots, I would think his balls would be weighing him down too much. Same for the rest of these guys though.
28:44 Big props to the cameraman on the final jump. That was impressive keeping Ammar in frame during that transition to belly. That is some skill. Edit: just noticed, that was Jon Devore! another world-class Red Bull pilot was the cameraman on the final jump.
since finding this channel i have felt such an overwhelming feeling that is so unexplainable. and i have overwhelming anxiety and agoraphobia so i cannot even think about leaving my home without being terrified that i will die. and seeing this truly truly makes me miss the little things, like going to a drive (which i’m literally shaking just thinking about) and it is literally my dream to meet you and the Yes Theory team, and i want to push my limits and push myself to do something as amazing as this. i cannot express enough how much this channel and how each and everyone of you have impacted my life is such an amazing and special way. thank you so much. i love you all. love, Myles, a believer in seeking discomfort and saying YES to all things new and uncomfortable.
I think that bit where Sean talks about making the situation adapt to his breath and not the other way round is a life lesson. Staying calm when there's nothing calm around you is such focus. Love that
I don't know the guy, never met the guy, but just seeing his aura from this video, you absolutely know he is the kind of dude that lives his life 110%, always. Inspirational, even if you're not a thrill seeker.
can we just talk about sean's incredible ability to keep ammar straight and stable at 300 MPH. the whole time down i was staring at his right ankle and all the micro corrections necessary while traveling that fast. not to mention that the smoke is attached to his left leg so he can't use it that much. wow I am floored by his skill as a 30 jump newbie incredible incredible incredible stuff
i have none jumps in my record (i want to though) but i was also amazed and looked how experienced he looked, not only in the air, but even at airfield how he was prepering, fun or not, 20k jump? but you could tell he still is serious about each of them
You guys have inspired me. In 2016, I was diagnosed with cancer. I underwent chemotherapy, had an operation and had months of follow ups. However, it took its toll, mentally as well as physically. I became introspective, drank too much and ruined my relationships. I was overweight (260 lbs), unfit and unhappy. It sounds like a cliché, but I stumbled on your videos and they inspired me to at least 'try' to change. One of the things I always wanted to do was skydiving. In my 20's, I missed out on the opportunity and then life happened, I forgot about it. But seeing Ammar's videos, all of your videos, inspired me to become better and be the person that I want to be. I set myself a goal: lose weight, get fit, become a skydiver. The first two, I have achieved. The third begins on July 10th. Thank you for being such extraordinary people and inspiring thousands who you will never meet. Much love and gratitude.
Im not sure why but at the end when they jumped I was overcome with emotion. Seeing someone live out there dream and peace he had if only for just that little time in the sky. I love these guys.
Do it man. I jumped last year and it was amazing. The scariest part is building up the courage to actually do it. Once youre in the plane its all adrenaline.
I've been struggling with depression, something guys find hard to open up about and deal with. I've been feeling like life is boring and meaningless. After finding yes theory and binge watching their videos I've realized I am my own worst enemy. In just a few short days my depression is mostly gone because of you guys. Life's what you make of it. Thank you, yes theory.
Today I realised why I liked these guys so much. Ive been watching Yes Theory for 3 years. Its because they are so real, so open, and they show the highs and lows of life. They are literally the most authentic youtubers ever.
I grew up with my dad telling me bedtime stories about his skydives, he always said there was "no greater feeling of freedom" but when my dad was 38 and my mum was pregnant with me, he got into a serious skydiving accident. His friend died and he barely survived. He never went skydiving again and now he is retired and claims he is "too old for that stuff". But deep down the whole family knows that's not true and he misses it a lot. My dream is to go skydiving together with my father❤
Happens a lot with pilots. You do something that you barely survive, or you watch a friend die doing the same thing. Sometimes you lose the ability either mentally or emotionally, to do any of it ever again, even though it's something you loved. It's an unspoken rule that when someone retires from something like this, that the subject is no longer up for debate or question, it is what it is and there's a tangible reason for it. If you're not confident and comfortable in a high stress environment where your life is on the line, you absolutely do not belong there. Don't push him, and don't question his reasons for not doing so. If he's at all interested, he'll let you know in no uncertain terms. Best of luck either way.
My name is David, I'm 20 and I live in Barcelona. Since I was a small kid I've always been scared to die. I'd panic attacks 6 times per day I wasn't living because of this. One day, I became aware that the best thing I could do to fight against my fear is to follow my dreams and do what I can possibly do till I die. I would say that you guys played an important rol in this. The truth is that I want to be the Prime Minister of Spain. Everyone that I tell this starts to laugh, but I definitely will fight to achieve my childhood dream. One day I though to myself: well, there's always a crazy guy that thinks that he wants to run the country. So I decide I'm gonna be that crazy guy. Now I'm studying political science witch means that I'm one step closer to my goal.
Its important to have big goals but lower your expectations. Get elected mayor of your town, or province and when its time, everything will fall into place.
I am anti social. I have social anxiety and my life isnt on the right track. I am trying to turn it around and overcome all the hardships. Thanks to this channel i can feel as if i am not scared alone, as if all my problems can be solved by a mindset and dedication to bettering myself. Thank you Yes Theory.
I feel for you my friend. Each of us struggle in our own ways, and you are never “scared alone”. Some choose to hide their fears from others and that’s okay. Some fears are unbearable and bleed over into our everyday lives and that’s okay. For me, the key is to just accept my fears/insecurities for simply what they are… fears. Don’t let it stop you from living your best life. Whatever your dreams are, go for it. In the end, you’ll be satisfied with yourself regardless of the result. I believe in you!!
The camera man is an absolute animal. To direct such a beautiful film just using your head camera traveling 300mph, tracking these little dot in the air is a talent within its own
Ammar constantly amazes me. I don’t know him personally, but I am beyond proud of him. His attitude and dedication to making his dreams come true is something to be admired. Not just him but the entire Yes Theory team are incredible. The world needs more people like you. Keep thriving and pushing the boundaries of comfort!
I’m 24 years old. Used to live in the streets and homeless in the Philippines. I seek discomfort and tried to learn few skills that i can use to survive and earn money since I didn’t finish my study due to poverty and broken family problem.I barely speak English but i have to try, now I am a performer at a Theme park here in Singapore. I learned to do acrobatics, dance, beatbox and now I’m flying FPV drones and learning Videography. I am now a bread winner and thanful to God that I can provide for my family, I never dreamed of being rich. My dream is to travel the world be connected to inspire people and spread positivity and keep learning new skills and share it with other people that maybe one day they can also use to survive. Yes Theory is such an inspiration. And I will always seek discomfort it’s in my blood. I will buy the merch! I love the shorts but it’s out of stock atm.
really? this is the coolest documentary you've ever seen?? that is honestly really sad and your horizon is super limited. Also how is there any tension at all? YesTheory has gone skydiving a dozen times lol they are just recycling ideas because their channel is used up and done
That was such a beautiful ending. I honestly teared up as soon as you jumped out of the plane and watching the two of you hold onto each others arms and the trust and the bond after training for so long!

I am 59 years old and I watch your videos. It amazes me that group of young people can be so down to earth, humble and full of joy, willing to share their happiness with others . I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavours.
The trust you need to have in your jumping partner/coach! That final jump while they held on to eachother has a level of intimacy that just exudes pure love. Beautiful. And seeing the nod of encouragement when he released Ammar made me tear up.
I want to thank you for all that you've contributed to the inspiration of others. I've been struggling so long one of my biggest dreams is to experience skydiving falling from the sky. To fly is Alexa ability to rise above all fear and anxiety that seems to control me and overcome that fear, that initial anxiety that causes some to turn back. Fear and anxiety has held me back. You remind Me the seeking discomfort is growing while reaching higher. Growing strong enough after living there are some very rough years I'm forcing myself to heal. Everyday is a challenge I've forgotten what it's like to feel alive. But I am still here and it's still within Me still I feel it within. I just need to let go I need to heal and be strong and find the trigger that brings me back to life. I hope someday I May be able to do the same. My struggles I've had for so long have held me back. who created a barrier between me and my dreams. I'm fighting. I feel like it would bring me back to life lake music in a festival where people from all over the world come together and unit. No matter where they are from no matter the background they come together as one. If I could just get out there and do it and feel the greatness and the defeat of the gravity. It would remind me that I am still alive that I'm still here. It reminds me to keep going. Even in the most uncomfortable circumstances. To rise above It All. I know I am still alive though it is hard to always remember in rough times, falling from the sky my quiet possibly be one of the greatest moments like taking all of life struggles shaking all the anxieties I'm fierce in life that have held me back but they cannot defeat me. Landing would be the moment of complete defeat. I would win. I will win. Thank you.
I’m Zack and I’m a senior in high school. I just turned 18 and every since I was little my dream has always been to be able to fly. When I was in kindergarten I was asked what I would do with $100 and no matter how many times my teacher asked me to pick something else my answer was always the same; I wanted a fighter jet. After years of hard work in school, I have now applied to the United States Air Force Academy, received letters of recommendation from an Air Force colonel and a congressman, and started taking my first steps to becoming an F-22 pilot which is one of the most selective positions in the entire armed forces. The F-22 is the king of the skies, second to no other aircraft, and I hope to one day soar among it. Thank you for all your inspiration.
I'm 18 too and man, that's absolutely awesome to hear. I'm thinking about doing the same thing as well but now that i'm in college it's a bit hard. Good luck and hope you get to be a f22 pilot one day!

If you knew what you were talking about, you’d know that we’ve known about this for months and that Ammar has been working towards this for so long. There’s no need for you to seek attention, just seek discomfort 😉

Oh man Ammar well done! That skydiving instructor was so dedicated and happy to teach you how to ride things out, love seeing people like him that are so passionate about what they do that was so cool man, congrats on achieving a massive goal from when you were a kid, takes a lot to go sky diving!

I'm Manolo an 18 years old Colombian student living in France. I'm going through a hard time, because of covid I'm alone in my apartment and getting to know people were really difficult. I've been living some bad moments because of my anxiety and the fact that every person that I love staying in Colombia, including my family in Colombia. Basically my dream, nowadays, it's to live without fear and get confidence to keep going in life. I think it's something very simple but important in life.
It's good that you are 18 years old and living outside your comfort zone in another country, you are already on the road to confidence and living without fear. Stay in contact with your family and soon you will be with them. Take care man
You WILL get through it,and I’m very sure, that you are strong anoth.Everybody is proud of you, because you live out of your comfort zone.Only keep going ,and you will be successful.Better times will come.
Hang in there dude! Current times are tough and I know that being alone in an apartment during Covid for such a long time can sometimes take you to dark places. Take care and try to stay in contact with family and friends as much as possible and don't loose hope. All that shit is gonna end at some point and then we're all gonna be able to get out there, meet new people and seek discomfort again.
Breathless. This one, hit me on a human, personal, and heartfelt level. Never heard of you guys, until 4 hours ago... and at 28 minutes into this particular epic journey, you got me to tear up, and cry. Thx. I needed it.
I have not been able to even walk properly for the past 6 years due to an accident. Now i'm almost fully recovered my biggest dream right now is to run a marathon on the wall of china :) Seeing you achieve your biggest dream even when things sometimes go sideways still shows that you never should give up on it. I'm glad to see other people achieve their dreams, now its time for mine.
Tomorrow, I will buy a Redbull. Absolutely incredible, hair raising, goosebumps causing video. Aamar, you are the single most motivating person I've encountered on UA-cam. I absolutely love Yes Theory, love Thomas, love Matt, etc. but you sir inspire me so much. You're an awesome individual and I love every video about you.
My personal moonshot. I was born with hydrocephalus, a brain condition that few very have, and brain damage is typical. It requires surgery, and often repeated surgeries, to manage. There is no cure. Facing this, I dreamed of finishing a PhD program. At age 29, I started, and at age 36, I completed and earned a PhD in Economics. It may not be as thrilling as halo jumping, but I'm damned proud of climbing my own personal Everest.

My Name is Ryan from Maryland. For the longest time I was death afraid of heights and would often not do things because of it. In the Summer of 2016 I pushed myself beyond my limits to scale a 3000-foot mountain range in West Virginia which at the time was huge for me. During the climb I had about two panic attacks but once I got over the fear of heights I quickly realized just how beautiful it is as well as the surrounding area. Following this climb my fear had somewhat gone away, and through this past year with COVID when I began watching this channel and self reflecting, I quickly realized that while I may be surviving, I have not truly lived a life worth living. For the future my ultimate goal and a huge thing on my bucket list is to go skydiving, to truly get over my fear of heights and enjoy the beauty of the world and the endless possibilities while completely seeking my greatest discomfort.
"You only live twice. Or so it seems. One life for yourself. And one for your dreams." - Nancy Sinatra's theme song for the James Bond film You Only Live Twice
Well I mean yeah sure it’s amazing he can capture it but the camera people who jumped with them is a well experienced person who loves skydiving him/herself so it isn’t a problem, I know for a fact that the camera people make a lot of money for a jump, I jumped myself a few times and a cameraman is really expensive!
My aunt was a part of a hot air balloon crew during the 90's-early 2000's she went all over the world and flew. One of my biggest fears is heights. About 9 years ago I went up in one with her after backing out the first time. We got up to 7 thousand something feet that day. But now, I am so inspired to do something I never would have imagined trying. Cant wait to jump!
As a female, one of the reasons I love Yes Theory, apart from the adventures, is the friendship between these men and the fact that they are not afraid to show all sorts of emotions.
I needed this video thank you. I'm a single Dad recently laid off due to COVID at the end of October. Recently diagnosed with cancer with no insurance and just had my cat totaled. This made me feel better and really focus on my dreams. Mine are pretty simple right now, get treatment and live to see me son grow up. Thanks again for the uplift! Always down for an adventure!
This is perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The emotion and expectation was captured perfectly. It's amazing to live vicariously through you all. You took discomfort and turned it into joy. Amazing job!!! THANK YOU!!! ❤
so incredibly proud of you ammar - our biggest dream is to sail around the world and you and the whole yes theory fam inspire us to do that every day! :)
In all honesty i did NOT expext to cry, When I saw him making his dream come true and all his friends were cheering up and really supportive made me realize how importent it is to stay with people who'd be happy and supportive of you, I'm so proud of Ammar for making his dream come true.
The thing that blows me away the most about your experience is that you have so many people around you that are supportive and so full of love. Literally a van full of people went with you to hang out and provide that sense of calm needed. The love that emanates is so powerful. I've been misty eyed throughout this entire video. I'm so freaking happy that you got to experience this.
I believe this is something beyond inspiring, videos like this are rare and beautiful, it really just gives you a feeling more than inspiring, it's incredible.
I completed my AFF course 6 weeks ago and two days after I came back from the course I broke my foot. So now I can't jump for at least another 6 weeks, which just crushes me spiritually to be honest. People who have never experienced skydiving probably can't relate as much to this, but I was so touched by this video. I actually had tears in my eyes when you exited the plane because I know that feeling so well and I miss it so much. It is my favorite moment of jumping. I just can't wait for those 6 weeks to be over and to finally be able to fly through the sky again. I just can't get enough of this feeling and it is the greatest thing I have ever done in my life so far.

My biggest dream? I found the "Yes Theory" channel a week ago, after hours and hours of listening to you guys I'm going to quit my job tomorrow (DONE) to follow my dreams: be more like you guys... That doesn't mean travel for a living, but following your "philosophy" of creating deep connections with such a good attitude that may be impactful in the life of others (like mine) and seek discomfort, just take the chance... Maybe, in the future, I could see you guys in person and tell my story and thank you guys for being an inspiration for many people even without truly realize how much you are touching the hearts and dreams of others, changing minds, encourage people and helping others, just being happy spreading good vibes hahaha ... I´m a 26-year-old architect from Colombia, changing his way of thinking and taking a leap of faith inspired by a group of friends from another culture, and that's awesome, thank you for that.
He was the pro guy in white at the end standing next to the redbull athlete coach guy, he was a redbull athlete himself and was probably asked to come along to get shots cuz noone else could.
I suggest to pick up one of those stretchy sports bandana/face masks. It will hold up against the wind and make it easier to breathe against the force of air going down.
i remember my first HALO jump in 1992. It was the most amazing thing I ever did. The world so so beautiful when you are jumping at 34K ft. The air rushing past your ears is silent because you are just awestruck by the view. I didn't want it to end. Everytime I've made one since then it is just like the first. You can't fully appreciate the view from a video. It isn't scary at all when you are that high. I recommend doing it if you ever have the chance.
I have been a skinny and an antisocial my whole life and moving to the United States 5 years ago mentally affected that in a bad way at first with trying to adapt to a new country, culture, people and life. However, my past birthday on October 3rd my mom surprised me with a skydiving reservation and it was a dream come true! The feelings I had while skydiving literally readjusted my mind, showing me a new prospective about life. It made me realize how close and easy death is and ever since then I have been a new man I started hitting the gym daily and watching you guys and listening to your podcasts made me want to expand my circle of 2-3 friends but unfortunately with the Covid situation it has been a challenge, but nothing is impossible I started making friends at the gym and became overall happy with who I am becoming because I know there is more potential in me and that I am not fully there yet. My dream is to leave a stamp in this world before I leave I am currently pursuing a computer science major and I am certain that I will heavily impact the world with the knowledge I am getting. I got really emotional watching this, because I would always "seek discomfort" I loved feeling alive and was in my first really bad accident in 2016, once I started getting comfortable again, I was in another roll over accident a couple years after and it just shook me. Handling fear is a challenge, facing it even harder. Good for you Ammar, very proud of you!

can we just talk about sean's incredible ability to keep ammar straight and stable at 300 MPH. the whole time down i was staring at his right ankle and all the micro corrections necessary while traveling that fast. not to mention that the smoke is attached to his left leg so he can't use it that much. wow I am floored by his skill as a 30 jump newbie incredible incredible incredible stuff
i have none jumps in my record (i want to though) but i was also amazed and looked how experienced he looked, not only in the air, but even at airfield how he was prepering, fun or not, 20k jump? but you could tell he still is serious about each of them
They were never travelling at 300 mph?

I grew up with my dad telling me bedtime stories about his skydives, he always said there was "no greater feeling of freedom"
but when my dad was 38 and my mum was pregnant with me, he got into a serious skydiving accident. His friend died and he barely survived. He never went skydiving again and now he is retired and claims he is "too old for that stuff". But deep down the whole family knows that's not true and he misses it a lot.
My dream is to go skydiving together with my father❤
hope it happens 🖤
I hope you go skydiving some day man. It's the best feeling anyone can ever go through.
I hope you can convince him someday
Rest In Peace to your dads friend 🙏 and everyone else who lost their life skydiving
You will be the next prime minister of Spain if you have the courage and goodness in your heart 💓
Keep believing
You can do it man.

Its important to have big goals but lower your expectations. Get elected mayor of your town, or province and when its time, everything will fall into place.

I will win. Thank you.

This is truly inspiring
You shouldn’t probably quit your job but I do like the seek discomfort thing
Do it and chase your dreams but remember some things take money
FULL SUPPORT!!
Yes!
Hahaha bad decision man. Internet fame is A. Hard to come by. B. Doesn't pay off in the long run. C. Takes a certain personality.
Is no one going to mention the camera man is with them the whole time
He was a pro
He was the pro guy in white at the end standing next to the redbull athlete coach guy, he was a redbull athlete himself and was probably asked to come along to get shots cuz noone else could.
my exact thoughts
Pure emotions! Can´t wait to do my first tandem jump this year.
I’d be looking forward to a video from you with this quality for a sky-dive tandem! 😂
I suggest to pick up one of those stretchy sports bandana/face masks. It will hold up against the wind and make it easier to breathe against the force of air going down.
@@nate8930 No need for this, instructor will not allow this as you could choke on it.
Best of luck! I might be able to get back in the air this year, my glider club just opened up for this season.
i remember my first HALO jump in 1992. I recommend doing it if you ever have the chance.
just got rating for 20000ft, gonna have a crack at 16500ft and 18000ft before heading higher. Blue skies !
i jumped from 34001 ft.
Thank you for reading
Thank you for sharing. I hope you are doing well and that you pursue your dreams.
@@yanirahahn2311 Yes I am thank you❤️
Love this man, I promise if you make yourself available to friendship the friends will come
@@devinbrooks7917 Very true and thank you brother!!!❤️
Absolute beast bro keep grinding and chasing your dreams
It really touches me that a an African arbian is out there chasing his/her dream and destroying the boundaries of our closed cultures and family thoughts. This thing really touched me to the point we're I cried... This video has greater message for me in the culture that I live in. THANK YOU SO MUCH AMMAR ❤️❤️❤️
AND HIS PARACHUTE HAD THE EGYPTIAN FLAG COLORS
I got really emotional watching this, because I would always "seek discomfort" I loved feeling alive and was in my first really bad accident in 2016, once I started getting comfortable again, I was in another roll over accident a couple years after and it just shook me. Handling fear is a challenge, facing it even harder. Good for you Ammar, very proud of you!
31:30 he's not saying he's alive because he didn't die. He's saying he's alive because he lived his dream and is truly ALIVE! All men die, few ever really live - Robert Arrington
Props to the camera man, he had the hardest job of being balanced perfectly to deliver this video.
And the control to circle round them as they're traveling a few hunderd miles an hour
Right. And I bet he felt a lot of pressure cause if he missed the shot, they’d have to do it again haha. In reality there were probably multiple people recording them in the sky.
His instructor is fluent in Anxiety 101 omg i want him to be my therapist
He looks like a great guy. I love the advice about controlling your breathing to slow things down
Watching Ammar’s journey on this episode was so emotional for me. I was crying tears of joy and excitement for him. He is such a beautiful human! So proud of him ❤🎉
This brought me to tears. The videography, the vulnerability, your
story........ I felt that.
I'm disabled.... I spend most of my days at hospital and doctors. Before I got sick I was so adventurous. I was active and up for any adventure. I wish I could again.
Thankyou for making me feel like I've lived another adventure with you. Although I might not be able to do the things I used to, yes theorys videos have always made me feel like I can live again.I felt all of it and you guys made me feel like I was up in the air with you.
Thankyou
Will you ever be able to get to get up again?
Your comment made me cry.. i hope you can go on these adventures too in the future!
@@absurdist_666 at least I can hope :)
