i have a mix of books, notebooks (yes a few sketches), pencils, random papers, and random things like small squishies, hand santizer, scrunchies, bandaids, wallet, and lip balm. (BASICALLY A MIX OF EVERYTHING YES IM LAZY AND MESSY)

Backpacks weren't allowed when I was in high school 😕
I, however, had to make a deal out of it and got a special pass from the principal that allowed me to keep mine on me due to my anxiety disorder.
I also had nine different flavors of gum bc I needed variety. It also helped when teachers would pull that "Did you bring enough for everyone?" stuff bc then I'd be like "Yeah, everyone can have one stick. Pick your flavor."
How can any school not allow backpacks ? How does it even have students ? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHAT HAPPENED FOR THAT RULE TO EXIST ?

I have my books, usually half being sketchbooks, pencils, and usually my bento for lunch. But I'm also homeschooled so I go to co-op once a week, so I usually don't have much. I used to have gym clothes, but I dropped that.
Things for volleyball tryouts, some school stuff like my binder and books, extra pair of clothing because I go to a STEM base school so we go outside alot, and Go near water almost everyday, and female stuff for the time of the month :)

What i have in mine is a Binder, Chromebook, charger, 1 mil pencils, lunchbox, trash, change of clothes (just in case) a stash of paper, drawings with lines of them because of the bus, Friday folders on Friday, and finally, trashy 1 min birthday gifts.

I always have random stuff in my bag that i just shove in there. It could be a pencil, it could be candy wrappers, it could be crumbled papers, it could be notepads, it could be medkit supplies, it could be school work i never turned in, never gave back, or already got back(if it were a test) You could find anything in that list inside my bag.

I don’t have a backpack but it’s definitely true about sanitizer lol I’ve always been a germaphobe but COVID was definitely the reason I started carrying it
I got lots of backpacks i collect them. But in my EDC i got a paracord bracelet,pens,scissors,flashlight, a cool battery powered lantern, extra set of clothes, a small journal, a wallet with a bit of emergency cash,( no debit or credit card) a spare phone and a portable charger. I have a fanny pack in there that acts as a first aid kit. It has first aid crap in it. Oh and I got a mini bible and multi tool(not swiss army tho) My school backpack just has basic school crap. The EDC backpack I use is dark grey and its like a standard backpack but larger in capacity. Not super big tho.
My backpack is always organized because it bothers me if it isnt and most people in our school carry water bottles because its Arizona and the school like shut down all the water fountains and our hallways are outside.
I keep essential stuff in there like personal care things, a charger, headphones, water bottles, and my wallet as i work long overnight shifts
