My school isn’t necessarily poor, the county is just allergic to spending money. So when we went to a private school for a football game (I march and we travel with them) just looking at the houses was like being in a different dimension, but the school was on a whole different level.

There was dust in every corner, the classrooms were the only relatively clean rooms There were usually flies or occasionally spiders on the walls The water form the fountains were always warm, even on cold days Most of the ways you’d get on the main play structure had at least one screw loose There were chains on basically everything that was hanging from a structure Prison fences The kindergarteners shared a playground with the 1st-6th graders The teachers were your typical English teacher The math was basically middle school level That’s all :)
