Hi Mr. Clarke I really enjoyed the Daddy long legs video. I'm going to try to tie a few for myself. It will be a first for me. Watched your leg making video and it is outstanding. Thanks so much for your tutorials. They are part of my valuable video library recorded on CD-ROM. I do have a question. How do you store large flys and avoid crushing the hackles??? I have had very little luck due to my ignorance.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks again my friend.

@@Thefeatherbender I do have a question Mr Barry , my very first flies I made I tested in the river BUT THEY SWAM in the under water HOOK SIDE UP , what did I do wrong? Thanx dana
Hi Dana, it could be a number of things, that you are using the wrong style of hook, that there is a wrong distribution of materials, that you are applying too much weight...
Awesome looking 'Daddy Long Legs' Barry. Very well tied and explained. Thank you for sharing.
Great pattern Barry. I guess this will be in book number 2 😉

Hi Danny, Thanks! For large dry flies I just use a large plastic box with spacious compartments so the hackles have enough room to rattle around.
@@Thefeatherbender that works my friend. Thanks for that tip. I had a large Saltwater fly box. Didn't dawn on me to use it for dry flys. LOL. Dumb me.
