You know Barry I have always enjoyed watching professionals work with there hands.. But you add that special touch that makes it 10 times more interesting.. you teach very well.. You make it so anyone with a bit of patentes and practice can make these beauties.. That is priceless.. I think this is the highest achievement that man can attain.. To pass on what he has learned to the next generation.. Well done my friend you do it brilliantly..

I've fished all my life. I'm 61 and been an avid Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass fisherman since I was a young boy and my father taught me to catch Panfish. But one of my many regrets is that I never took up Fly Fishing. I've never tied a fly and this just amazes me to no end. You Sir... Are an artist and I applaud your skill and patience. I would love to have this as a hobby. You guys make it look SO DAMN EASY... 🤔 And I know it is not. Thank you for such an educational video.

Nice one Barry! Will have to tie up a couple to match the huge mayflies (1 1/4 inch bodies) that hatch on the local lake midsummer. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!

Do the flies really matter to the fish? I've never fished with flies. Just worms and minnows and a Snoopy pole so I don't know.

@@Thefeatherbender do you have instructional videos on casting? Something for beginners? I may want to add fly fishing to the bucket list.

@@NegroJonesStrikesAgn Unfortunately I only have fly tying videos but I am sure you will find them on YT. Good luck!

NegroJonesStrikesAgn - look for Rio fly line products on UA-cam - they have excellent videos on casting techniques from basic to advanced. 😊.
