Brilliant job.
I would have preferred that to have seen the belt being changed on a 1.6 VVT. The working space is much tighter and the amateur mechanic does not have access to a hoist. Thank you for the making these tutorials they are really helpful.

I’m sure when you take off the starter motor there’s an alignment/locking hole in the engine block and flywheel so you don’t need a timing tool but can be done with a large enough drill bit.
Great educational video but it would be helpful to know what engine it is, and what engines it would apply too.

Is this is same process as well for automatic 1.6 16v?
Unfortunately, we do not have such information, we recommend that you consult your mechanic.
i didn't see undoing the 10 mm nuts for the cam pulley when setting the timing belt and then torqueing 14 Nm after the tensioner pulley bolt is torqued 27 Nm

how similar is this to a 1.2 Tce engine ?
1.2 tce has a chain. Normal 1.2 has a belt
This is a diesel one. How about for petrol engine, ex. 1.2?

It goes in the side of the engine block near the flywheel it blocks the camshaft in a certain position. It physically blocks it and you also secure the flywheel via inserting a bolt trough the block that goes inside the flywheel
