The small but mighty K9K developed into a fantastic powerplant Smooth Reliable Fuel Efficient, Seem them with 200k plus in the Trade still going strong.
Well done my friend .... But I'm always left thinking that the modern manufacturers deliberately design the cwap FWD cars as badly as possible, so the DIY lads are screwed.
@@waynemiller4602cost effective, 20 years old engine, renault fixed most of the issues during these years on it , not the best performance for the size , but can go 1 mil km .psa 1.6 hdi has better performance , smoother ,better engine in my opinion
@waynemiller4602 it was because of an agreement that renault proved tech for battery/hybrid systems and mercedes had to use there engines, I believe the titan is just a rebadged kangoo. The A and B class are the main models that use the renault engines. It's also a reason why I'd never buy a nissan, also a rebated renault.

One the most successful European Diesel engines ever Manufactured
On the citan you won’t be able to reach the crankshaft lock hole from the top, you will need to crawl under the car to access it

Quasqui version is the worst
Early ones had a free floating crank shaft sprocket, not fun.
Same as the ford petrol engine nice and easy 😎 👌
