(SPOILERS) It's because Courtney was acting for the P.I.C., who originally didn't care for the truth. In reality, Courtney cares about the truth, and the P.I.C. originally approved forging evidence and making deals with witnesses thanks to their leader, Blaise Debeste.

I don't understand it either. Well, it suffers a bit from plotholes, but it has some really good twists and interesting characters. Turnabout Sisters was worse imo.

When I first played Dual Destinies, getting to the final case, I noticed Fulbright's "alibi" didn't line up and I immediately thought "Oh, no. He can't really be the murderer, can he?"

Your reaction to Franziska returning as the prosecutor was actually the complete opposite of mine. I was really happy to see her back as I was getting kind of bored of Godot, however I became much more interested in him as that chapter continued. Although I'm quite biased as Franziska is probably my favourite prosecutor whilst Godot is one of my least favourite.
Bridge to The Turnabout starts on my birthday. That makes it my #0 case as apposed to my number #1.

Have you seen WatchMojo's somewhat new video, its about ace attorney cases and they only focus on Phoenix and not anyone else (I think ^^")
I like your videos about ace attorney cases better, cuz you look at all the games (including the fan translated investigations 2) and on every character involved with set case/cases. And you look at the series as its known as Gyakuten Saiban (aka Ace Attorney) in Japan.

AJ's final case doesn't actually involve time travel. The MASON system is just a way for Phoenix to sift through his memories to solve things.
Proof: there is no point in it where information or items that could have only been obtained in the present are presented in the past to find a secret. The closest thing to this is presenting the perfume (which is initially seen in the present inside Kristoph's cell). However, it is also an item that Phoenix was fully aware of in the past, and the idea that it was in Kristoph's cell is not mentioned at the time.
Plasmatize Yeah but there's also that part where you talk to brushell about Zak's death and get the info that his wife birthed Apollo and use that info for Zak's physce lock.
Fun fact: You're actually playing as Lamiroir during that part, not as Phoenix.
Actually, you are technically playing as Thalassa going through past evidence to put the picture together

I feel the same way, I knew that Godot was most likely the killer, but I didn't want to say anything, it just hurt to much. One of my favorite characters being shipped off to prison I just couldn't accept it.
Dude. He made me so emotional, that every time I here his theme, I fucking cry.
I'm sorry but I just don't see the appeal of Godot. Yes, his character is intriguing at the start, but once you play the rest of the cases and realize he's just misguidedly antagonizing Phoenix because he couldn't forgive himself is... Lackluster to say the least. Hell, the whole fucking reason Misty died was because he couldn't control his hatred for Dahlia even though he KNEW HE WAS KILLING MISTY, NOT DAHLIA.

It's the most resent one.
I doubt the whole series has ended, but Spirit of Justice is the most recent title as of this moment.
DGS's first case (and I think part of the second) has been fan dubbed as well.
I know I'm late to the party, but you forgot the thing that infuriated Dahlia the most: When Maya channeled Mia in the Inner Temple, she wrote a note to her asking her for help. Mia then had Maya channel Dahlia for as long as she possibly could, so she would have no way of finding out she had failed to kill Maya, since she (Dahlia) also never knew that Godot had killed her using the sword concealed in Misty Fey's own wooden staff. When Mia reveals this to her, she also tells Dahlia that, whether in life or the afterlife, Mia would always be 3 steps ahead of her. And then Dahlia goes ballistic and breaks free from this mortal coil for (hopefully) the last time.
Ok I really like turnabout corner. It has such a unique premise for a case and a lot of the characters just work for me. I could never hate a case that introduces adult ema Skye.
I want to see a remake of this list, I would love to see where turnabout revolution would land, along with the great ace attorney chronicles

I actually feel like the last turnabout of investigations 2 was a bit rushed, like they had a culprit ready to go and needed to add more story but when they remembered their deadline, they had to rush and think of another culprit and incorporate Simon Keyes into the case, its what I think might've might've happened.
I actually like that amnesia plot, but the one in Trauma Team was interesting as well.

i remember my first stand-alone ace attorney game (i had pl vs pw first). i thought it was t&t, then it took my 12 year old brain 10 minutes realized it was justice for all. i liked it.
luckily, ill be playing t&t soon, wonder if its as good as they say

Funny enough.Bridge to the Turnabout would be my third favoutite case. It's pretty good,but it didn't left on me such impact as Turnabout Beginings or Farewell,My Turnabout. Turnabout Beginings made me make a reflection and I was left perplex with such a conclusion and Farewell,My Turnabout made everyone get despaired when they needed to choose between
Guilty or Not Guilty
Thankfully it didn't end like this,but that decision was probably the hardest in all series.
