I have a 2011 Genny 2.0t premium. Stock. Enjoy it as is. People think it is something more than it is. Very under appreciated car. Don't see many where I live. Only mods I would consider is suspension, upgrade to track specs. Drove British sports cars that were set up as SCCA race specs.

Yeah, that's kind of the upsell on a 2.0T - you have an engine that is specced to handle and utilize the turbo. I myself went with the 3.8 because that V6 sound is sexy as fuck and were I to add a turbo, you'd know I did a lot just by me saying, "It's turbo'd" because it's not as easy as it sounds. My goal is to get it to 380whp myself which if I can top 400hp I'd be happy. One of my best friends has a 370z which he recently just got turned and it's getting about 330whp so being able to keep up with that or even beat it would be awesome.

You need to boost the 3.8 to get 380whp until then you won't be making more than 330whp max effort e85 bk2

My bk1 2.0 is pushing 380whp with a tune and bigger turbo so I'm sure if you boost your v6 you'll make some good power.

Yea the Bk2 Genesis coupe came stock from factory with 274 hp I’m pretty sure, and the 3.8 was only a little more at like 315 I think. So with just a few simple mods the 2.0T can easily get up to what the 3.8 can do stock. With just a few grand you can make 400 hp or more in the bk2 2.0T no problem. The 3.8’s are a lot more expensive to modify. Their turbo kits alone are like 5-8k. That’s why I got a 2.0T myself. I love it, if you want to modify the car yourself the 2.0T is the one to buy.

I'm getting a 3.8 and making it into a 3.8T I follow this guy who's a pro at tunning one and guy to be a auto cause the manual is trash.the auto genesis would smoke the manual one.
The saddest statement I’ve ever seen. Gen Z is cursed. Manual over auto. Touge,Drifting, drag strip. Manual rules.
@@zealdance6898 It's sad but true. Paddles shift faster and smoother than stick any day of the week. Autos in this car tend to be more reliable as well. Doesn't make them more fun than stick but still the auto has more upsides.
